Hikuro sighed deeply as he listened to Kori. "Wow, just.... I don't know what to say. Meryl isn't bothered by insults. She is the type of person to loyally follow her superior's orders, and only will kill someone if they in some way do something or plan to do something to something or someone she believes she must protect. From what I know, it was when you said you wanted to kill. She doesn't take things like that lightly. She is very serious when those words turn up. It is kind of your own fault anyway. I mean who jokes about killing someone?"

Kori's eyebrows burrow together and she closes her eyes in aggravation, "I know she doesn't have a low self esteem. IT WAS A JOKE!" She starts her voice steady, but then it raises out of anger. She lets out a huff of annoyance. "Look about what happened at the dorm, I'm sorry." She grumbled. "We..." She gestured to Ruka, Aiden and herself. "Aren't exactly people...People. I shouldn't have said I'd kill you, but to tell you the truth, when I get angry, and I haven't fed in a while, I tend to want to attack humans." She gulped. "Lucky for you, I told myself I'd never do that again." Kori looks to the ground, feeling she told more than she wanted to but wanting to get them off her back.

Kairi looked thoughtfully at Kori for a moment before nodding. "Okay. I accept your apology. And I'm sorry if I aggravated you in any way. But I believe Meryl deserves an apology too, when you next see her," she said smiling. "Besides, I gathered that you truly did not mean to kill me from the beginning. It was actually Ruka over there that threw the first threat and drew a weapon intent on following through on it..." Kairi turned to Ruka. "...Isn't that right, Ruka? So, what do you have to say in all this?"

Rin sighed, "Seems like this is clearing up."

Ruka and Aiden had taken a seat on the ground and were-up until this point- just following the conversation silently. Ruka draws in a deep breath and glances briefly at Aiden as if she could get the words she needed from him. She averts her eyes back to Kairi, staring straight at her face but not quite meeting her eyes. "I'm sorry I tried to kill you. It an instinct that I shouldn't have followed. When I first see humans I've never met before, my mind thinks kill and my body just reacts. I am truly sorry." Ruka says, bowing her and closing her eyes in shame.

Aiden sighs but adjusts his head to face Kairi as well. "I, too, am sorry that I didn't try hard to stop her. Like Kori said, We're not exactly people people." He says and knits his eyebrows together in an expression that would be apologetic were his face to be completely visible.

Rin looked from person to person, "Wonderful."

Kori blushed slightly at the sound of Rin's voice again, she looked up to the stars, her thoughts wandering places she'd never gone before. Glad that the whole apology thing was over for her, because there was no way in hell she'd apologize to Meryl.

Rin smiled.
Himeka came and kicked Rin, "R-I-N!!!! Why'd you tell Ritsu I took her cookies?!"
Rin looked at her, "What are you saying stupid, I never said that."

Kori giggled at Rin and his sister, she put her hand over her mouth to cover her smile. She'd come to like Himeka despite their bad start. "Hi Himeka." Kori waved slightly squinting her eyes in pleasure.

Himeka looked at Kori, "Oh, You. Umm Kori was it? I think that's you, I mean Onii-san said that name alot."
Rin blushed, "HIMEKA!!!"

Aiden and Ruka stifle their laughter so as to not let Rin and Himeka over hear them. "Hello, Himeka." Ruka calls to her between giggles.

Kori blushes deeply. "Hehheh, my name?" She questions putting one hand behind her head and tilting it to the side, in confusion even though it was was clear to her.

Rin blushed and put his hand on his forehead.
Himeka looked at Ruka and Aiden, "Oh, you two."

Aiden smirks. "Yes, us two." He says with evident amusement.

Himeka smiled at him as she strangled Rin, "Hope this idiot isn't hard to take care of."
Rin choked, "H-Himeka!! let me go!!"
