I found the sys32 folder in some other folder, but it didn't have much in it. (Just two random files of some kind.) I un-hiddened my folders and junk and nothing else showed up. My computers tardness frustrates me greatly.

I did get a fat shiny new monitor, though. :> Now I get to see all the fail in super HD~

Guess I'll just keep on scanning with other programs until the malware gets bored. -A-

Uh, Koji, where is this sys32 folder, exactly? There should be a SYSTEM32, but sys32 is common virus crap. It shouldn't have "two random files of some kind," either.

C/Windows/I386/SYSTEM32. I can't find any other folders by that name with the search. I don't like this mystery. D: I remember digging around in it a looong time ago, and the filepath wasn't like this.

Further scanning has uncovered 4 other folders names system32, but they have something to do with my printer and my firewall... :u If this frustrates you any further we can pretend it never happened.

That one should be fine. i386 has to do with Windows repair/installation. And if the other folders are under legitimate firewall/printer paths, then those are probably safe as well. But, like I said, RegRun has a "help me with this" button that tells you whether files are safe or need to be deleted.

Have you run AdAware or Spybot S&D yet?

If all else fails, I recommend wiping the HDD and starting over, assuming you have a Windows CD and external drive.

Yeah, I used the Help me thing on Regrun. I think it did it's job, it finally got rid of the trojans it kept detecting. I gutted i386 of the baddies Regrun kept missing, so it's doing waaay better. I've been using AdAware, should I get Spybot too?

So far it's been booting fine and only has slight lag and one persistent pop up bug. I hope I don't have to wipe, I have an external drive with all of my stuff, but my comp is a Costco stock HP that didn't come with any Windows CD. (And we wonder why it has so many problems. >< )

NMC - Vista Sucks. It tries to makes us think it's better because there's more shiny buttons and error messages are less generic. That's pretty much it.

Koji - What is this Colbert vs. Gaia I hear of? It is relevant to my interests.

I loathe announcements, even typing 'announcements' is annoying. I'm so glad that after 10 announcements, the announcements stop piling up. It still makes it suck to log in to mule accounts.

• Doing freelance graphics work seems like a good idea right up until the point when you and your client have days-long debates over the color blue.
  
• Star Ocean: Till the End of Time is so bad, it's good again. I bought it used for $14, and it's been great fun. And by "great fun," I mean ample opportunity to scream obscenities at hole-riddled science. 4th dimension my a**.
  
• Bear McCreary is underrated. No, seriously. I've never seen Battlestar Galactica, but the OST is top-notch.
  
• I'm trying to read Atonement but find it horribly dull.

And I've done some freelancing and I know how awful it is. Last time I sold a logo for 50 bucks, and the client was so obsessed with making it how he wanted it that he didn't let me do any design at all, and I thought that was my job, to design. If your client does the designing for you, either tell him to back off, or to get an illustrator.
