Ritsu clenched her teeth, "ARE YOU STUPID?? ME? CHANGE MY FATHER'S MIND?! GOD YOUR LIKE A DULL KNIFE."  

[Solner]

Hikuro watched as the girl grew steadily more infuriated and was amused by it all. "Wow. What a pathetic person. You think you can't change anything? There is always something you can change. I know this from centuries of personal experience. Someone with no will to do as they want has no place in any type of authority position."  

[Kairi Nightingale]

Ryan's face had steadily grown more serious as the argument continued. Something was very wrong...this wasn't the same kid he had met from the shop. He was changing...and Ritsu was too blinded by anger to notice what was going on. "Natsu..." said Ryan softly. "This is seriously getting out of hand. Because she's your sister, I'll give you a chance... Please, do something. Or I will."

Ritsu was furious, "JUST SHUT UP! IF YOU THINK YOU CAN CHANGE EVERYTHING YOUR WRONG! IF I CAN DO THIS NATSU DOESN'T HAVE TO BE KING..."
Natsu turned to Ryan in tears, "I-it's my fault Ritsu's like this..."  

[Solner]

"Thats it? you fight for your brother? Well, I guess that is something Hikuro can relate to. But me, I have not an ounce of sympathy for you." Hikuro pointed towards Ritsu's feet. "You are also not fit to rule if you blow your top everytime someone insults you. There, look at your feet." The area he pointed at was already covered in ice, and Ritsu's breath fogged from the cold. "You are already fully ingulfed in my 'area'. Stay there very long and you'll lose all the energy in your body."

Ritsu laughed, "Are you dumb? I'm already DEAD! And you don't know how Natsu feels!"  

[Kairi Nightingale]

"ALL RIGHT, THAT'S ENOUGH!" yelled Ryan, seeing the danger. He ran over to Ritsu. He suddenly felt the temperature drop as he entered the area and immediately slowed down, his energy draining away. But he didn't stop until he stood firmly between them, turning to face Ritsu.

He spoke softly, "Look, you're fighting for your brother right? That's something I can understand but tell me...Does he look happy right now to you? Does he look like he wants you to fight this battle? You can hate me for doing this if you want. I don't care. But I know that if you continue going on like this, not only are you just proving everything he says about you right but you're going to hurt yourself and cause your brother more grief. And I'm not about to stand by and watch that happen." He turned to 'Hikuro' and spoke in a louder, more firm voice.

"You've proved your point. Now leave. There's no point in continuing this, anymore."

Ritsu glared at Ryan, "This isn't only for Natsu..." For some reason she didn't get her energy drained. she felt fine.
Natsu Smiled, "Ryan it's ok. Let her be."  

[Solner]

"Well, Ryan, since you stepped in I think I'll let Hikuro take over for now. He's curious about something anyway." Hikuro bowed his head and his hair spiked back up. He lifted it once again, his eyes with a comepletely different feel to them. "I'm sorry, Ryan, this did get out of hand. But I am really interested in the fact as to why she isn't effected at this temperature. I have no desire to kill you so I can't suck any more energy from around me, so I have another solution."
A white blade suddenly jumped from the empty hilt Hikuro was holding, instantly shooting through both Ryan and Ritsu, and just as fast it retracted to about the size of a dagger. The blade turned from its white color to a fuzzy black. "Huh? What?" Hikuro looked at the blade in confusion. "Ryan, do you have some kind of power too?"

Ritsu's eyes widened, "That's true. Why am I not affected...?" Her swords disapeared and she looked at Hikuro, "W-why aren't I affected?"  

[Kairi Nightingale]

Ryan's bracelet lit up as the blade went through them, quickly dimming as the white blade retracted back to Hikuro. After recovering from the initial shock of having a blade run through him without injuring him, he looked back at Hikuro and the dark blade in his hand.
"Oh, s**t" whispered Ryan, panick filling his voice. "Hikuro," he said, struggling to keep calm. "Whatever you do, don't use that. I'm serious. Make it stop. I'm not kidding. You could kill everyone in this room. Put it away."  

[Solner]

"Ok, Ritsu, my guess is this. You said you are dead, right? So that would mean you are some kind of spirit. Well that would mean that you have a much lower body temperature, thus a much higher threshhold with which to withstand my ability. But as for this..." Hikuro held the blade straight up, which extended a little. "I have no idea what to make of this. Hallow white was touching Ryan last, so this must have come from him." Hikuro thought for a second. "I shall test it to find out!"  

[Kairi Nightingale]

"NO! DON'T USE THAT!!" Ryan moved toward him, not caring about the lower temperature anymore. "Look, I'll explain it to you, but for god's sake, don't use it!!"

Ritsu looked around then saw Natsu wasn't affected either, "Natsu is the same..." She looked at the blade and her eye's widened, "W-wait... T-take that away..."  

[Solner]

"I think I know what this is. But if it is what I think it is, then I know just what to do with it." Hikuro took the blade and dropped it into the floor. It cut right through, falling as if it was falling through air. A few seconds went by, and a string tugged on his finger, reaching the end of its length. "Wow. It fell all 50 feet."
