A Reluctant Killer

Bana nodded as took the items stuffing them into her pockets. "I'll do my best," Bana said cheerfully and turned around walking back towards the old mans hut. When Bana got to Yuki she smiled up at her and yawned. "I'm gunna head back to Miss Irene and Mister Yuki. All the dead people are underground and I'm getting tired." Bana said then yawned again and rubbed eyes.

Yuki had been wondering where Bana had gone when she came back. Yuki smiled at her. "Alright then. I'm sure the old man has someplace where you can sleep in his home. Let's go see." She started leading Bana back to the hut, only to see Niko leaving it. "Oh, hello," Yuki said. "Is Irene alright?"

Niko nodded. "Yeah, she went outside a few minutes ago," He said. He then looked around. "I'll go find her." He walked off, looking for Irene.

Seeing Irene, Niko smiled and walked over. "Are you feeling alright?" He asked her, glad that she at least seemed alright. The old mans words were fresh in his mind, and he silently swore to help Irene no matter what.

Bana watched where Niko went and debated following him. Then after a couple seconds took off after him. Bana ran up to Irene and Niko making sure to be inbetween them and grabbed Irenes arm. "Miss Irene! Is there any nice place to sleep? The old guy scares me." Bana said in the most childish whiney way possible then yawned and slouched still hanging onto Irenes arm.

Mariah chuckled from the shadows, and slowly dissappeared into the darkness. She headed back to the bandit's hiding place, feeling victorious. "It's a good thing I gave her that charm. Now because of the spell I'll know where she is at all times. And that necklace I gave her... Will be the end of Irene." Mariah laughed loudly when she finally arrived at the bandit's hideout. "Boys, I have suceeded! Soon that necklace will be mine, and so will Irene's power! With it, we will gain more than just money. Prepare, for soon the world will be ours!" The bandits cheered, and Mariah left to her room.

"MmmHmm" Bana nodded cheerfully. "I havn't spent the night with someone since my mommy left." Bana yawned again and rubbed eyes. "Though she didnt usually like being in houses." Bana said groggily.

"Its up to you. Beds are more confertable that grass." Bana said and yawned. "My mommy always liked the open spaces and the stars. Its up to you" Bana said as rubbed eyes looking like about to fall asleep.

"Okay" Bana said groggily and wrapped arms around irenes neck and closing eyes pretending to fall asleep.

Niko smiled slightly at them both, then looked around. "I'll stay out here to keep watch for the bandits," He said to Irene quietly, not wanting to wake Bana up. "You make sure to get some rest too, okay?" He leaned against a tree slightly, looking up at the sky.

Yuki wandered over, hands behind her head. 'Hm... I might as well go and see if I can find any medical plants in the forest, or anything of interest. See you all later." She wandered off down the path to the forest.
