For a moment, everything else melted away. Power, Kingdom Hearts, it all was put in the back of Xemnas' mind for awhile. Jaxine brought him to one simple principle. At times, he truly regretted not being able to provide a normal family and life for her.

Shaxirma simply pulled Nechax down to his knees by his ankle. She pulled herself up using him as a support. As she moved, her leg whipped around to catch him in the head. Nechax fell onto his face.

“No cheating now!” Luxord chastised both of them. If switching cards was cheating... “Let's hope she can satisfy.”
He laughed along with Xigbar. Luxord didn't take it seriously, but hey, if she wanted to...

Nodding, Xathere frowned. She would much rather be at home than here! For what's happened to the apprentices already, it had only been two days.
“We should just leave someday.” Xathere announced. “When you get better. We'll be killed if we stay any longer.”
Maybe not true, but something bad would happen again. It probably wouldn't be fixed again after that.

Jaxine kept cryin, although one other thing came out of her mouth: "I love you, dad. Don't leave me..." She knew how emotional she was being right now but she didn't care. This moment would be something she'd cherish.

"I think you proved strong enough." Larxene's smirk had returned, although she understood that they had to stop now before the boy actually died. It would mean her termination as well.
"Then again, he doesn't seem like a challenge at all!"

Myrthe put her cards on the table. "I dunno, I have a full house." She shurgged, not caring a lot. "What have you got, bro?"
Xigbar's eyes widden for a moment, "Dude, she's good!"

"We'll be killed?" Lars looked surprised and horrified at the same time. Why would they do such a thing?!

(( Lars doesn't get it. XD And Myrthe is just lucky this time. XP ))

A hard promise to make. Xemnas sighed, petting Jaxine's head gently. “There may come a time where we must part ways. You will have to be strong on your own.”
He had to prepare her early for that. It was likely that his plans would force him to leave her behind. Unless Jaxine was willing to do anything she could to stay by Xemnas' side.

“He's too foolish.” Shaxirma agreed, though with less emotion than Larxene showed. Nechax just laid there. He would wake up on his own at some point.

Luxord leaned forward in his seat. He couldn't believe it. “How?”
It was Axel's turn to laugh now. “What's the matter? Beaten at your own game?”
“Beginner's luck!” Luxord was no longer in a happy mood.

“It's happened before.” At least, that's what Xathere had heard. “They've already done something to you.”
She stopped herself from complaining about Larxene's abuse. She didn't want to be considered weak, although in truth that was what she was.
“I'll try to find a way out of here.” Whether it be through portals, or another way. Xathere was pretty determined about this.
PostPosted: Thu Apr 26, 2012 4:15 pm
That thought really hurt her. Even after what she had done he would still have to leave her, eventually?
"Then teach me how to be strong..." She said, although she didn't move her head away from his chest, neither did she stop crying. "I'd do anything for you." She added quietly.

Larxene nodded, still smirking. This was a very interesting girl, and useful indeed. Unlike Xathere. That one had to strenghten up before she could ever betray the Organization.

"Probably." Myrthe laughed at her ''new boyfriend''. "It's my first time playing, after all!"
Xigbar petted Luxord on his shoulder, "I'm sure you'll win next round, buddy. Unless I do so!"

"That's horrible!" Lars sighed and listened to her next comment. "Yeah... I'll help once I get better..."
Thinking about that, his headache had only gotten worse and the stitches were starting to itch.

“I know.” Xemnas revealed. He knew he could get whatever he wanted out of Jaxine. “I will teach you everything I know.”
After all, he would need a heir. He only had his daughter. She would need to learn how to utilize so much power, and what his plans were.

Returning to training, Shaxirma picked up a dumbbell in one hand and began curling and uncurling her arm. She alternated arms every set she did. This would probably cause some soreness in her next mission, but with Marluxia there, the mission wouldn't be a problem.

Snorting at Xigbar, Luxord started a new game. Again Axel groaned about the hand he was dealt.
“You're cheating!” He accused.
“Am not!” Luxord opened up a new bottle of whiskey. “You're just being a sore loser!”

Smiling sympathetically again, Xathere felt hopeful once more. “Thank you.”
Now the only problems were finding a way out, and enduring the days until Lars was better. Speaking of which, Xathere asked, “How does it feel?”
PostPosted: Thu Apr 26, 2012 4:54 pm
"Thank you." Jaxine kept holding Xemnas as close to her as she could, although she unfortunately noticed she had gotten really tired thanks to all this emotional stuff.
"Why am I still feeling, Xemnas? I'm not supposed to..." She whispered, resting her head on his chest while trying to stop crying.

Larxene watched the girl with interest while still leaning against the same wall. "You never told me your name." She said in a kinder voice than normal, showing she liked this new one.

Myrthe rolled her eyes and grabbed some of Axel's cards, replacing them with her own. "Hope this'll make you win!"
Xigbar was speechless, although he was sure Luxord was not going to like this. He took a new bottle and sat back to see the trouble unfold.

"Very painful." Lars groaned as he tried to keep hinself from scratching. "It feels as if there's still a hole in my head." At that, he laughed a bit. "But son't worry, Xathere. I'll survive."

“I'm not sure.” Xemnas spoke softly. Had he not been so hardened during all this time, he probably would have believed in fake emotions too. “You must be taking a longer time than most to change.”

“Shaxirma.” She said, keeping up with the exercise. They were probably on a need-to-know basis, since Marluxia seemed to like this elder as well. In fact, Shaxirma predicted that she would see a lot of this one.

“Now you're the one cheating!” Luxord argued. This was becoming a heated debate between the two. Partially because of how much alcohol Luxord already had in his system.
“This is completely fair! You can't deal cards for squat!” Axel retorted.

There was a hole in Lars' memories. But at least his personality wasn't changed. In fact, Xathere was sure it was coming out more. Neither of them were being chided that they were Nobodies, and that this behavior was unacceptable.
Because of Lars' light mood about it, Xathere giggled along. “I don't know. I would get bored to death of being stuck in your place for a few days.”
PostPosted: Fri Apr 27, 2012 2:50 am
Jaxine nodded, taking that as the right answer. It probably was.
"Sorry." She said simply, implying that she didn't want to be so emotional as a Nobody.

"Alright, Shaxirma... I'm Larxene." The Savage Nymph announced with a tone that said: "You better remember it!".
Without revealing she did it, Larxene summoned a few Dusks to test the girl's awareness. Besides, who said you can't test other's apprentices?

"Else you wouldn't have given me a three of a kind immediately." Myrthe added to Axel's statement with a playful smirk. Not that she cared he knew her, or now Axel's, cards.
Xigbar took a long sip from his new bottle, laughing at the girl's reaction. "Wow, she has a lot of luck or you indeed can't deal cards, pokerface!"

"It's fine. I don't get bored easily." Lars gave her a reassuring smile. It didn't matter a lot to him. Besides, if he heard what happened to the others he was sure he'd rather be here than training. Although the headache was less fun. As was his bald head.

Xemnas said nothing. It wasn't entirely Jaxine's fault. Emotions affected a person's mind, causing them to react in a myriad of ways. Eventually she would be a Nobody. Then she would be more apt to listen to orders without a second thought.

Lesser Nobodies appeared. Shaxirma grasped her katana as she glanced around to see how many there were. Then she waited for them to make the first move. One of them was bound to step forward, separating itself from the others.

“Mine now! Guess I win.” Axel chuckled, leaning back on the couch.
Seeing that this conflict was not going to be solved easily, Luxord gave up. He looked at the brighter side of Xigbar's comment. “Good thing she's my girlfriend then, isn't it?”

“If you say so.” Xathere didn't know what Lars could do to waste the time away. Probably just sleep. Which was something she should have probably been doing. She still had to have a “talk”. That was going to be hard to explain. To top it all off, she could get caught sneaking out of Lars' room, too.

After standing there for a while, hugging Xemnas, Jaxine let out a loud yawn showing how tired she actually was. It wasn't exactly late, but the emotions had exhausted her more than she realized at first. Yet she wasn't going to let that end this moment. She didn't feel like releasing her father already.

The Dusks began to make their way to the girl, one of them attacking already with its long arms.
Larxene simply stood there and watched. She wondered what the girl's strategy would be.

"Sure is!" Xigbar let out another loud laugh as he continued to drink. The male was starting to feel really light headed at this moment.
Myrthe smiled at Axel, "Glad you did, bro. We make a good team!" Ever since she came, they both had won a game... Even though there had been a bit of cheating. She just didn't care.

"What does your father think of me?" Lars asked out of nowhere, even though he really wondered about it. No one had really seemed to pay attention to him, so far. Except for Xathere, of course, who he considered a friend again.

“You have tired yourself from all this.” Xemnas attempted to scold, but in the moment it did not work. He opened a portal and led Jaxine into his room. She was still afraid of the dark. For one night, he would allow her to stay with him.

Shaxirma hit the Dusk closest to her, which happened to be the one that attacked. She took a light scratch, which could have been worse if she hadn't moved. She sliced at its body, then spun to attack another Dusk.

“You know who would really make a good team?” Luxord leaned closer to Myrthe again. He winked. “Me and you. What do you say?”
“Hey! No hazing!” Axel joined in the joke. “She's my partner in crime!”
“Well she's my girlfriend!”

“I don't think it's anything good.” Xathere mumbled, discouraged. That was most certainly a fact. She thought of something more positive to say. “But he's quick to judge. Once you can move around again, I'm sure he'll change his mind. He'll be much nicer than Vexen.”
That fact made up for anything bad from Lars' new apprenticeship.

Jaxine carefully let go of Xemnas as he opened a portal. She looked a bit sad at first, but when she walked through and noticed they were in Xemnas' room now, that turned into surprise. She gave him a curious look, knowing he'd understand the question.

Another two Dusks lunged at the girl at the same time, while the first one that got hit was recovering from the blow.

"How about you both fight that one out!" Myrth chuckled. "I'm not going to choose between my bro and my bf."
Yet then she got an idea: "How about I'm Axel's partner in crime and Luxord's partner in poker!" She laughed along with Xigbar, who was greatly enjoying this.

"I hope... Vexen didn't seem kind at all when I woke up." He sighed, trying to sit up again. But it was no use, he immediately fell back down thanks to the dizzyness.

Allayx closed the book and put it back on its place, thinking about the things she had just read. The Keyblade she had seemed to be very important in the Organization's goal. The girl had known she could help Xemnas, but didn't realize it was her weapon that made her so useful.
She walked out of the library and into the hallways, as suddenly another person bumped into her. Allayx fell on the ground but quickly jumped up to see who it was.
"I'm sorry!" Demyx was standing there, looking all stressed as he had walked against the girl. "But I'm running from Saïx, you know. He can't find me! I failed another mission and if he knows then I'm a dead Nobody!" The boy began to run again. "I'm in the pool if you need me!"

Leading her over to the bed, Xemnas picked Jaxine up and laid her under the covers. Then he moved to the other side of the bed, laying down next to Jaxine.
“There will be nothing to fear tonight.” He promised her.

Swinging her katana widely, Shaxirma hit the two. She was getting good at this, but she was very alert at the moment. She had only warmed up with Nechax.

“Fine by me!” Luxord sat back in his chair. “But you should probably move over here, and since there's no room here...”
He patted his lap.
“Then no one else would win!” Axel complained. He didn't want to lose his chance to someone who could already beat him!
Luxord laughed. “You're such a sore loser!”

Xathere stood up to stop Lars from hurting himself. The deed was already done. “He's not. I'm glad you'll be away from him now.”
It wouldn't be so bad for Lars. Of course, she had no idea what would happen to him once he was better...

Saix was going through the hallways. He did this mainly to find the apprentices, making sure they weren't doing anything they shouldn't have been doing. He already found his own apprentice with another he was not fond of. Saix had yet to speak to Allayx about it.
PostPosted: Sat Apr 28, 2012 5:09 am
Jaxine was surprised at this, but wasn't afraid to give Xemnas a big smile. She made herself comfortable as she got closer to him, and closed her eyes with a content sigh. He was so kind to her right now, making her unafraid of him not liking the way she acted.

Larxene simply watched as two more Dusks began to throw their long arms at the girl. She was doing well so far. Then again, even Hataxn had been able to deal with these Nobodies.

Myrthe got a bit red as she giggled nervously. Without a word she made her way to Luxord and placed herself on his lap. Her cheeks were bright red by now, even as a Nobody.
Xigbar jumped on the couch next to Axel, where Myrthe had been sitting. "As if! We're doing teams now, right? We'll beat them together!"

Lars gave the girl a nod. "And who's your teacher? What's the person like?" He had gotten curious now. It couldn't be worse than Vexen had been, right?

Allayx was wandering through the hallways, wondering what in the worlds that had been. Demyx didn't seem very dedicated to the cause.
In the distance, she saw a very familair blue haired Nobody. She kept her normal pace, but if he talked to her she'd be sure to tell him about the boy. It'd be better than not telling.

Xemnas allowed himself a small smile at Jaxine's sudden cheerfulness. He continued to hug her as they laid there together. This was something he hadn't experienced in a long time.

Acting too late, Shaxirma got hit by both Dusks. She fell backwards into a wall. She shoved herself onto her feet, bracing the katana to attack again. She jabbed at the closest Dusk.

Luxord grinned. “Much better, isn't it?”
He drank some more of his whiskey. Then he got an idea. Two drunks were okay, but it wasn't a party! Luxord tossed Axel a bottle. But he figured he and Myrthe could share one.
“Sounds good to me!” Axel caught the bottle. Maybe Xigbar would have more luck than him. He laid down his cards as Luxord prepared a new round.

“Larxene.” Xathere said sadly. She didn't want to say too much, or else Lars might worry. He was her friend, after all. That was what friends did, right? “She's... okay.”
There were many things to say about Larxene. She was NOT okay.

Spotting Allayx, Saix made his way to her. It appeared that she was doing nothing. Perhaps that was the case.
“What are you doing?” He asked once he was close enough.
