Displacer BeastDragon Em's hand was at her mouth showing her nerves. She didn't bite her nails anymore, but the old habit still showed. The Druid didn't spare a glance for the party leader as they stepped up. The fight was over within a matter of breaths. It looked as thought the Druid had found the perfect weakness and ruthlessly exploited it for the victory! Em knew she should've been happier, but the next fight really worried her. As the Warlock took his place, Em remembered a quote she liked "Do not meddle in the affairs of Dragons, for you are crunchy and taste good with ketchup". She paled, and her other hand was at her stomach. She wished she'd not thought of that. Mercifully for her stomach the bout was a short one, with the Merc defeated, thought they'd done better, and landed a few hits on the Dragon. But a wooden staff against a creature that size didn't do much.

Displacer BeastDragon It was up to the Warlock to finish this. They'd wanted to fight a dragon so badly! After all, how often did a caster get to face such a beast alone? They'd paid attention and improved in both the prior fights. They knew that they needed to draw the dragons fire, then close quickly and strike. Putting their plan into action was another matter. It took two tries, but the got in close with the creature, landed some blows before beginning to cast. Em couldn't help it, she cried out "Behind you!" But it was lost in the roar of the spectators. The Warlock had forgotten the Dragon's tail.
