Zach watched slowly, and nodded, seeing the engine was working alright.
"Good good! Now slowly turn up the power, but keep an eye on how much energy is being used" he said, while watching both ends...unaware that something in the engine still wasn't repaired.

Tirla nods once more and slowly begins to increase the power. She watches the engergy level intensely knowing where it should be for the power she has established.

Zach watched, hearing the engine slowly going up in power...however, he soon heard what sounded like a hissing noise, and then, he could hear a loud bang inside the engine, with fire shooting rapidly out of the engine.

"Crud! Tirla! Shut it down! Shue the engine down!" he yelled up to her, as he made sure nothing worse happened.

Tirla noticing hte power spike just as the bang shut down the engine. "Sir, we have a major energy leak from somewhere, energy just spike to almost 50% about normal capacity." Tirla replies extremely shocked. She couldn't see the flames, but had heard the boom.

Zach nodded, as he moved the ladder up to the engine, and thengrabbed a flashlight. He turned it on, and looked inside...seeing a very thin layer of smoke...before seeing the problem.

"Found it...looks like one of the circuit panels under one of the plates blew cause of the heat...probably caused the bang. I'll have to replace the whole panel." he said, while he slowly walked down the ladder, and picked up a few of his things. "I'm going down to storage and getting a replacement. See if you can pull out the old panel. And make sure to wear gloves...thing's probably burned or melted" he said, as he walked out of the hangar to check the storage pen.

Tirla jumps down out of the cockpit. "&*^% and I was trying to get them fixed without needing new parts." She replies grabbing for her mechanic gloves as she goes up to pull out the renegade pannel.

Tirla manages to finagle the thing out and gives out a loud curse in some strange language, not quite completely audible either. "You silly thing weren't meant to break." Tirla then looks at the engine. "Bad engine, no power till you work right." She replies climing down and putting the melted panel on her toolbox.

"Maybe I can pull some salvageable piece out of here." Tirla replies sitting down and testing the temp of the panel, finding it tolerable, she take soff her gloves and grabs her tweezers, messing with locations.

Point is, if you go rushing in there full tilt with no sort of plan or anything, you won't get anything accomplished. He's been ready to guard his back against living experiments for decades. There's absolutely no way you can get past his defenses without a well-thought-out plan. If you want to get him back, then fine. But at least get some help and some offical clearance so you're not courtmarshalled and then killed for your insolence. Are you going to work with me, or against me?

Tirla begins to sway feeling dizzy from where she was sitting. "I should go lay down I think." She replies standing and putting her hand to her head. The lump from where she had hit her head was now the size of an egg.

Tirla begins to walk slowly out of hte hanger are. She was wobbling side to side slightly with one hand on her head. "Stupid engine."

Sapphire gets to the door and collapses into the door frame. "No, it's not that bad. I just neeed to lay down." She snears to her legs as she tries to regain her balance, her head thumping. .

at least you look like it was natural.... [tilts her sunglasses to show her eyes]my eyes, these eyes... they are not mine...they...[tears]...theyre my fathers...
he did this to me to punish me for trying to escape....and i almost did...but yes i am a monster...you know how many people he made me kill???
and who i had to kill???
after my attempted escape he made me kill my family...
and for that... i am a monster...

Finally giving up on her legs, Tirla crawls her way to the Med Bay.

*glares at you with a steely glint to her bright blue eyes* So being forced to do something makes you a monster now? What would he have done had you not complied? Hm? Think he would have let you get away with that? Think your family would not have died if you had not done it? Think they would have gone faster and with less pain? Tsh. Come now. THINK. He would have tortured them even more slowly and painfully. Kept them alive for years, if that's what it took to dominate you. To break you. *wry, bitter smile* Doctors are the worst people to fight against or to have torture someone. They know exactly how much they can do to someone before it's fatal. They know where it hurts the most. They know how to control the body.

But you never answered my question. Will you stay with me? Will you allow me to help you? Will you go about this with some rationale? Some plan?
