As he hung in that basement, it was hard for him to feel anything but fear. Of course at the time he did not want Abel to know so he simply released his other emotions out on the man. Calling him names, screaming in pain, kicking wherever he could reach. None of it seemed to faze him. He wasn't ever sure if he had felt any of it. Jakob was the complete opposite. He felt it all, saw most of it. Abel was a true showman when it came to torture. By the time Kieran had gotten there, he didn't care if he had to lose three layers of skin to get out of those handcuffs. Whether by falling and breaking a bone or with Kieran's help he had been determined to get down from those rafters.
Jakob couldn't remember the last time he let someone hold him like this. Years maybe. He hadn't dated in ages and he didn't really stick around long after ******** someone. He never saw the reason to get close. Yet here he was, days after having sex, and he was being held by the last man who ******** him. To top it off, he was having quite the meltdown at the moment. Tears slid down his face and over his nose. Slowly he was calming down, but not fast enough. The lump in his throat was still present and he was sure he looked gross. He took slow, ragged breaths as Kieran continued to comfort him. Jakob wiped at his eyes and face as he sniffled. "You're boss is the devil." he croaked, not even sure which language he had said it in. But he needed to put it out there. A small bit of his anger released as he spoke.
He laid there a few minutes longer, having not said anything since. His tears had nearly stopped by now and all breathing had returned to normal. He could still feel Kieran close behind him. "He was going to rape me, wasn't he?" he said softly. It wasn't exactly a question. More like he was just thinking out loud.

What goodness could there possibly be inside of Abel? From what he had seen, not only tonight, but that day in the restaurant and in the club, there was none. All he had seen was a rude, cruel man who cared not for the feelings of others. An impulsive being who took pleasure out of torturing others. There was no kindness behind those dark eyes. Only cruelty and madness.
In all honesty, Jakob was surprised he had been able to hold it in this long. The moment he saw Kieran enter the basement he had wanted to weep with joy. Then again when he was released from that house. He didn't think he was even going to be able to leave that place. Before Kieran had even showed up, he feared that Abel would lock him down there, possibly keep him for a few days until he got bored or his screams could no longer go unnoticed. But no...that wasn't the case at all. He was free....he was alive....he did not want to think about any of this nights events and so he stuffed down the emotions. Only to have to come bursting out as he was confronted. Jakob knew he hadn't been acting like himself. Not that Kieran really knew what "himself" was. But he was sure in his eyes, he must have looked like a crazy person.
The majority of tears slipping down his cheeks lasted no longer than ten minutes. But in that time, it was the hardest he had cried in years. When at last he found his voice, it was raw with emotion. In his state of despair he wasn't even paying attention to what language he spoke. It must have been one that Kieran could understand as he soon heard his reply although he had not asked for one. Jakob scoffed at his words. Kieran would have to forgive him for he was incredibly doubtful. At this point in time he could not see Abel in the same light that Kieran did.
The longer he laid there, the more he started to come down. He still had a few tears clinging to his cheeks. Again, he spoke without really looking for an answer. The thought had been lingering in his mind for some time now. Just as Kieran walked in, he had felt something against his a**s. He had seen the bottle of lube along with the other object Abel had brought out of the closet. He sniffed as Kieran spoke, listening to his words. There was no sugar coating in those words, no false promises, just an ugly possibility. He squeezed his eyes shut for a moment as he allowed that information to sink in. "Why are you friends with him?" he asked. Kieran may not have been the best person out there, but in comparison he seemed a thousand times better to that man.

Until he was ready, he didn’t think either of them would express their pasts. Kieran didn’t mind, after all it wasn’t as if it was necessary. He wasn’t going to demand all of the facts and Miguel’s life story. It really wasn’t relevant to him, especially in this context. Kieran found it might be better not to know everything about him. He hadn’t even known him for a whole week, yet alone twenty-four hours.
As his arms loosened around Miguel, he watched as he turned to face him. Kieran looked over his chest, as he lowered the blankets. His chest was raw and red from the cut running down his chest. He had seen far worse on a dead body. Kieran slipped a hand up, running his finger over the wound. He listened as Miguel questioned him shaking his head. ”Probably not, Abel is pretty careful when it comes to his medical equipment, he usually sterilizes them after playing.” Kieran spoke knowing that probably wasn’t something Miguel wanted to know but it was true. Abel was careful, when it came to such things after all many victims there was bound to be some diseases.
Kieran looked over Miguel’s wrists as well. He saw they were a little red and bruising from being hung. Kieran didn’t think they were too bad, it could have been worse. At least Abel didn’t break his wrists before hanging him, or do to much damage to his body. His wounds would heal with time.

He honestly didn't care how Abel felt that his prey had gotten set free. But he did worry about Kieran. He could imagine what sort of hell it might be when he went back home. Honestly, if could the man tell him? That they ******** once and had a nice little moment? Doubtful. For Kieran's sake, he hoped the man would ignore it. He didn't want to cause anymore trouble for his own ignorance.
When asked about what to do next, Jakob suggested putting on ointment. It was probably more trouble than it was worth, but he'd rather not risk infection. While he believed Kieran when he said that Abel was clean. In this day and age, one could never be too careful when it came to personal health. He watched the man nod and slip out from the covers. Sitting up a bit, he admired the view. It was the first time he had seen Kieran completely naked, and he was not at all disappointed. He took in his toned and muscular build.
He laid back down as the man soon returned to the bed. He was almost a bit disappointed to see him cover up, but wouldn't complain. Instead, he laid still and quietly while Kieran applied the cool antibiotic to his chest. As the man soon finished up, he watched him wipe his finger against the sheet. Jakob shook his head a bit, but said nothing about it. He waited for Kieran to set the kit down on the floor, a small smile spreading across his lips as the male turned towards him. "Thank you." he said sweetly.
