Are you planning another tattoo?

I have planned:

- A famous crop circle design going down my right thigh (I'm a ufo/alien nerd)
- "The Truth is Out There" on the inside of my left wrist and "I Want to Believe" on the inside of my other wrist (X-Files, yeah)
- The words "Socks" in Kanji on my back right shoulder in memory of my kitty. He always would knead his claws in that spot, and I want the Kanji to be done in a way to look like scratches
-The musical signature and note for "B natural" on the back of my neck. Not only do I love music, but a B natural also tells folks to just be natural!

I have tons I want to get! Here are the one's I'm planning on. They aren't in any particular order.

X- Angel wings that cover my entire back with the word "Believe" written at the top between them.
x- Criss Angel's CA logo on the back of my neck.
X- Music notes to the chorus of the song "Blue and Yellow" from The Used in multicolors on my right wrist.
x- Colorful owls sitting on branches across my collar/chest.
X- An Edward Scissorhands portrait on the side of my right thigh.
x- A zombie Glenn Danzig on the side of my left thigh with the words "We Are 138" under it.
X- Cupcakes and candy on the inside of my right arm.
x- I'm thinking about possibly making my left arm a Nightmare Before Christmas sleeve. I know I want Lock, Shock, and Barrel somewhere.
X- Maybe something on my foot.
x- Possibly spider webs on my elbows.
X- And I want "Will you marry me Captain Howdy?" somewhere on me too.
x- I'm also thinking about getting Harry Houdini on the front of my right thigh and Criss Angel on the front of my left. (I'm big into magic.)

Every single one of them will be in color. I will never have a black and grey tattoo ever.

Hopefully...I like how I have one tattoo...but I'd still like more.

I'm planning on whipping out my nerd side and getting the Triforce tattooed on my right wrist, and I'd love to get one on my hip bone, but considering I want to have kids...that' isn't a smart idea lol

1) a pinup/portrait of the goddess Bast on my left upper arm
2) heirolglyphics that say "Bastet" ... idk where yet
3) on the top of my left wrist (I think) I am going to be getting a cat protecting the eye of Ra

I want my whole left arm done...

OH! I'd be glad for the help on one thing though... At present I have a sistrum (Egyptian rattle) on my inner left wrist. With the way I want my arm to be tattooed, the sistrum is facing the wrong direction! Mind you I'd have it no other way XD! But can anyone think of what I should do so everything looks balanced on my wrist? At one point I had thought maybe to do a cuff like thing surrounding my wrist and then just tattooing the rest of everything on the opposite direction, but I think that'd look kind of cheesy and too planned.

can anyone help me?

Last night while I was at work, one of my coworkers and I were talking about tattoos and it hit me what I want to get next. I am going to get the heirolgyphs of the name "Bastet" like I had said before that I wanted but it will be surrounded by a tribal design. I'm leaning towards having it on the top part of my forearm between my elbow and where I bend my arm, but I am still playing around with placement ideas. Either way I am hoping to set up an appointment soon and get it done within the next three weeks! ^_^

Last night while I was at work, one of my coworkers and I were talking about tattoos and it hit me what I want to get next. I am going to get the heirolgyphs of the name "Bastet" like I had said before that I wanted but it will be surrounded by a tribal design. Im in a money situation, so no tattoos for me in awhile

Here's what I want done. It kind of sucks because everytime I save up enough money to get another tattoo done... one of my kids ends up getting sick, or the car dies, or... well, insert any scenario in which case i have a greater need to put money somewhere else that isn't on my body, lolz.

1. Seams, because i feel nothing makes me feel more feminine then wearing seamed stockings... so i'd like my seam there forever. The center of the bows will have Horde and Alliance symbols in them.... because I'm a WoW fanatic.

2. Zombified Ribcage... basically, i want the right side of my ribcage to look like its rotting. I'm a gore-whore.

3. Skeleton feet. Nothing is more old-school horror then a skeleton.

4. Scorpions on my hips. I had always wanted either scorpions or pistols on my hips... since both of my children are Scorpios, i'm going with the bugs. One scorpion will be done in a blue/green color scheme, the other will have a pink/purple one.

5. Violin marks on my back. I'm a violinist, so I have to incorporate this. I'm also a punk rocker, so my violin is covered in stickers. As I add more tattoos, my back will look just like my real life violin! (i know... i'm a dork)

6. Full sleeves, each dedicated to one child. My reasoning for this is that I will spend my lifetime holding my children. To hug them, to comfort them, to rock them to sleep... for everything. My arms will be busy taking care of them until they're ready to fly away from the nest. So I'm going to get one tattoo every year of something that reminds me of them for that year.

7. Boba Fett on my shoulder blade... because I want him to watch my back.

8. "For Your Eyes Alone" written in French under my breasts. I'd split it up so half the phrase is under one, and then the other half is under the other. Or maybe I'll just go with "Peek A Boo".

CRAP! Ok, so it ends up that i won't be getting that tat for a while due to money.... but I am gonna try and get a dedication tat for Pharaoh... my cute lil four legged son! I'll keep you all posted...

Nothing apart from my paws and my spiralvines. The paws will be something that's being worked on for pretty much life, and will eventually stretch diagonally across my entire back. The spiralvines are still in look-at-the-picture-and-see-if-you-like-it stage. (Handy thing about that one is it's a simple design that I can scrawl out in thirty seconds now, so I can have a copy everywhere.)

I'm actually currently working on a tattoo. Had my first sitting on Friday. I haven't taken a picture yet, but it's a cluster of bleeding hearts (the flower) on my left outer thigh. It hurt. A lot.

As for after that:

1) a polariod camera for my father
2) Knitting motif on my left calf
3) Finish my stars up my ribs and around my shoulder to turn into a sleeve of something that I don't know yet.

Intimate Impossibilities

These are the next two I'm going to get. They're both paintings that I did. biggrin

I have several planned. My most immediate are going to be my left side piece and my right foot.

My foot is going to be the other half of my Latin saying "Per Aspera Ad Astra" which means "Through hardships to the stars." It is going to be surrounded by crumbling stone stars and maybe vines with thorns.

My sidepiece if going to be a bunch of flowers (orchids, phlox, delphiniums, stephanotis, and iris') going up my ribcage from my hip/pelvis. The background is going to look something like this. All of the flowers have a meaning:
orchid- Magnificence, Love, Beauty, Refinement
phlox- Sweet dreams (I get really bad nightmares...)
Iris-Faith, Wisdom, Valor, "Your Friendship means so much to me"
Delphinium-boldness
Stephanotis- good luck
water lily- eloquence (I may get this separate from this tattoo, not sure. I have to seen it drawn up first.)


Then I have a plan for an extension of my butterfly. I want fabric patterns like you find in kimono silk tattooed around my butterfly in sort of an "S" shape along with other yellow, red, and white butterflies. The colors for the patters are going to be dark blues and purples to mirror the colors of the flowers on my left side. I want them to look raised and towards the outer edges to fade and look like it goes under my skin.

For my back piece, I have been talking to one of my artists about wings. Not the standard angel wings, I want BADASS Valkyrie wings (that's my name, Valkyrie.) Even though it doesn't go with the Norse part, I was thinking of having Celtic knots for the top parts of the wings, where the feathers extend from, and then having really angular and masculine feathers. I'm Irish, so I wanted a Celtic knot somewhere.


If anyone has input, just let me know. I'm always open to suggestions on ways I could improve my ideas. Plus since everyone here is so damn creative, I'm sure you could come up with something better.... wink
