James kicked in the door to the munitions factory, looking around, sporting his two glocks, a few stragglers rushed at him, but they were quickly gunned down, James smiled and muttered "Heh, traveling in packs makes you strong, but it makes the bastards easier to kill..." he slowly walked through the factory, looking for ammo that fit his weapons. He came upon a table with glock ammo and shoveled it into a leather backpack, when he heard a loud screech from behind and he turned around. Too late though as the zombie knocked the weapons from his hands, James returned with a heavy punch, knocking the thing over and taking his knife from it's sheathe on his belt and slammed it into the things skull, destroying it's brain. James wiped what gore he could off, then picked up his glocks and went looking for sniper ammo. He found it and got out of the factory with no more zombie encounters.

"So what's your plan for the day, go out and wipe down some crowds?" Kevin went back to scrubbing up his wrench, getting all the oil off of it.

Dahlia shrugged, "Maybe later, I've got to go put down some records first. Before that though, what do you have for me today?"

Kevin tilted his head for her to follow as he started walking, "You remember that bus we got a while back that used to have all the turned kids on it?"

Dahlia shuddered and nodded, remembering in particular how their groans had been some of the most daunting to her. That had been one of the few times that she had to remind herself that they needed to be killed, "What about it?"

He turned his head and raised an eyebrow to her, "Why would I bring it up if I hadn't done something to it?"

Pushing open the doors to the back room she saw the bus. it was only an old-design and a short one, but he had definitely been modding it. It had monstrous tires now along with having been raised almost a foot, probably for riding over zombie-made speedbumps without worrying. It had been completely painted black, along with a steel grill on the front.

"Not bad, what else?" She said with a grin and she did a walk-around it.

Luke, the other Mechanic slid out from underneath it on a roller, "Kevin put some stuff on the dash. Nothing too fancy, just a radar and a couple other gadgets. I got the engine running silent." He brushed himself off as he stood up, "Took a lot of work, but it's quieter than a mouse now."

Grinning, Dahlia patted them both on the back, "Luke, Kevin, this is why you're my favourites"

||->)X_O) This emoticon represents me being struck in the side by your one-liner. I don't mean to start right off complaining, but I would really appreciate it if you didn't frequent the one-liner cafe. If you want any pointers on how to avoid them I could give you some.||

"Right," he said, looking down to the armrest for the power lock button and, not finding one, reached back to the door behind him and flipped the lock back there and opened it, letting Luke in. Once he was inside, Sarest got the car going again and looked to their new passenger through the rear view mirror, "I'm Sarest and this is Alice. Nice to meet you," he said. They pulled over the pile of zombies Luke had just messed up, bumping and jumping the whole way until they finally passed over them and were on clear road again.

Alice glanced to and fro from the map to the road, to Sarest, to the new passenger, and back for a while before getting Sarest's attention and circling around the map with her finger and then pointing back to Luke. Sarest thought for a second before saying, "Oh, right, do you have any particular destination Luke?" Although he figured that for someone who was willing to pick up a ride without even asking where they were going the guy didn't have much of a plan.

James walked to his pickup, which had several spikes jutting out of it and slowly began picking his way through the streets, not far behind the trio of people, James accelerated, hitting several zombies and sticking them to the spikes on his pickup, he grinned, thinking "at least there are no anger problems any more".

Owen rushed through the doors as the breaching charge exploded. He centered a zombie in his sight and blasted its head open with a round from his SCAR. To his right, Baird had followed suit and was gunning down infected from behind a table that he'd kicked onto its side. Owen pulled out a frag grenade and pulled the pin out with his teeth. He counter carefully before hurling it into the midst of the zombies and leaping over the railing in front of him. The explosion provided cover, the rain of flesh and blood obscuring him from the sight of the remaining infected. He knelt down, reloading his SCAR. On the roof, Coles and Cpl.Carmine broke through the glass windows, swinging by cables they had tied off to the roof. Carmine ran to the door and pointed his his gun at the two zombies breaking it down, using a bullet on each one. Coles flipped his rifle in his hands so he was holding the front, he brought it back and cracked open the skull of the infected civilian as it began to re-animate. He fished in his utility belt for a moment, then pulled out a rappeling harness and handed it to the civilian.

Owen grinned underneath his helmet as he sent dozens of undead flying with quick bursts to the head. Opposite to him, Baird had mounted his SAW onto the railing and was rotating it, scything down scores of infected with an ongoing barrage of bullets. Owen signalled to Baird to hold his fire as the last zombie hit the floor. Suddenly something heavy grabbed him on the back, tackling him and sending him to the ground. Owen turned over an grabbed his attacker's face. It was a larger infected, probably would have been 6 feet or more in life, now it stood hunched over to a measly 4 feet. Owen primed his L.O.B as the zombie raised its hand to bash Owen's head against the floor. Owen pulled on the trigger cord as the hand came down. The ejected blade flew straight through the zombie's throat and spinal cord, severing the head from its shoulders, it rolled on the ground, still snapping. Owen wiped sweat off of his brow before going over and finishing it off with his SCAR. He turned his mic back on, "Building is Oscar Mike."

Sarest snorted a laugh, "Well, while I don't doubt your intentions it's best to just keep on the run for now. The only place there isn't zombies is far enough in front of them where they can't see you yet," he said, rounding a corner and narrowly avoiding some more corpses. As he jerked the car back on track he sighed, looking around before Alice pointed at a building with a big chain-link fence with barbed wire on top around it. There were a few zombies milling about inside, but they only seemed interested in getting inside where there were many loud noises coming from.

"Here's our first stop. It's a munitions factory. Looks like there's trouble going on inside, so keep low and quiet," Sarest explained, getting out and helping Alice out since her side's door was right up against the fence. He went to the back of the car and pulled out a few towels, passing them up to Alice who then threw them on the barbed wire. He put on his utility belt that he stashed in the back with his machetes, KA-BAR's, guns, and crowbar before getting on top of the car as well, climbing up the fence and helping Alice up and over also. "Hey Luke, if you wanna hang out with the car that's fine, but if not then just follow us," he said before lowering Alice down and then following suit himself, readjusting all his weapons belt and heading across to the nearest door.

All the zombies in the munitions factory are dead.

((I recently killed them XD just so ya' know))

They may hear a truck roll by, smashing into a pack of zombies on the street, causing them to fly everywhere.

||I don't mean to just shoot you down, but:
1) One person can't clear out dozens of zombies without explosives or some pretty impressive luck with automatic weapons- which our reference material (Max Brooks' Zombie Survival Guide) points out is just a waste of ammo (this may not sound like such a big deal at a munitions plant, but the point is to get more, not waste what you have and maybe make up for it).
2) I'm inclined to think that you just went in, found some ammo, and cleared out from there based on your post. You never said anything about scouring the factory and didn't even mention like djdog said with the ground floor being absolutely laden with undead.
3) This is a problem I've noticed with a few others, but we should reiterate that this guild is called 'The Survivalists' not 'Zombie Slaughterfest'. It's fine if people are former military and/or have training, but the point here is to try and survive, so think about actually being in that situation and how you would conserve your resources and stamina to actually be able to survive.||

(thats not what I said, I said the STEEL factory was laden on the ground with zombies, not the munitions factory, I recall mentioning a few zombies at least possibly, but the focus of my count on the zombies in the area was focused on the steel mill, not the munitions factory, from what Viran said in his post, there was only like 3 or four zombies in there)

((Sorry, but I have to make these points.
1:There weren't many zombies IN the munitions factory
2:I did mention going looking for ammo, read the post.
3:Let me get more than two posts in before you start judging my RP please, thank you ^_^

I also agree with what djdog said ))
