On Japanese Streets (japanesestreets.com), in the 07 2004 photo trends there are cosplays of Kaoru, Kyo, Die, and Miyavi. I thought it was really cool 3nodding

There was a Hyde cosplayer at Anime OD. He was cosplaying Hyde's SMILE look box and all. I wish I could have gotten a picture. crying I first saw him when I was waiting in line for the PLC concert to start, I was like "Crap! Why is that guy have such a nice suit?" Then I saw he was holding a SMILE box he had made and it hit me who he was. sweatdrop It was great because he took his box with him when he got his photo with PLC. xd
i am god XD

XD! Hey.. While we're on the topic of masks (headboxes included), anyone know how to make a Laughing Man mask? @@;

man, i had a pic of this really good saga cosplay, but i can't find it. -__-;;; it was really good. he had the dyed hair [when people wear wigs, the whole thing seems fake to me...i dunno why...], color contacts, everything. It was soooo good. he actually looked like him...
It's probably because a lot of wigs aren't well made. If you get a good wig, it can look as good as cut and dyed hair.
I got pics of some J-rock cosplay at Otakon, I'll post it later. 3nodding

Aoi and Reita cosplayers at Otakon:
I also have individual pics of each of them, which I'll post once I get the Aoi cosplayer's picture off of the memory card.
I didn't talk to the Reita, but the Aoi was REALLY nice. Thanks to her, I got to the front of the balcony at the MUCC concert I went to. heart She looked like him, and she actually smiled like him, too bad I didn't get a picture of it. XD
Edit: Photobucket resized the pic a lot, so I uploaded it on my site host.
madd Because I rose from the ashes? I miss the old Room 304 days, too. Did I tell you I officially quit? It was like cutting out a section of my heart. The other Diru Guild I joined is rather inactive, methinks. I need some of the old crew to haunt the threads with me. crying Because I want a Diru Guild, dammit! But I have no money or time to make one, myself!
Anyway, I really want to do "saku" Kyo for my next cosplay. It should be fairly simple and all. I even have the fake eyelashes. I'm just not cool with shaving my eyebrows; I can probably just cover them with foundation. Huzzah stage makeup tricks. There's also the issue of my permed hair... sweatdrop Dammit, Juliet didn't NEED to have curly hair. My director was just... being a FREAK! madd Well, there are still a few pieces of clothing I'd need to get for the cosplay, and I have no money. But the good thing is that they're easy pieces to get, and wouldn't require actually building something from scratch. It would be a good way to re-enter the cosplay world. Because I miss it so... crying

I don't think the old 304 will ever make a full revival....just because of things that happened behind the scenes.
Bren you can be Shinya in Ain't Afraid to Die....lol straighten half of it XD
I cosplayed Kyo from the Final once......once upon a moon

madd Oh my God I COULD! eek All I'd have to do is get bangs cut in, and straighten half of my hair! blaugh My perm is still handy, after all!
Well, I think the people involved in 304 already know I quit 304 officially a while ago... the new Diru guild I'm in is pretty much dead. crying But I know that I love Diru, and that's all that really matters to me. I already made awesome Diru-loving friends such as Mio, Inai, and mah wifey Geo. whee
