There's also the issue with the fact that even if Kuroro died, the Genei Ryodan would continue on. So it would sort of be a double loss for poor Kurapika.
Unfortunately, Kurapika knows very well that the punishment he inflicted on Kuroro is only temporary and will be of no use as a real reminder because Kuroro lacks compassion for his victims. Therefore, he won't feel sorry for them or Kurapika. I really don't like that man. I hope Hisoka beats him up good. x3

i really don't know what to say about that... if Hisoka and kuroro fight... i have a feeling it will be a draw... but that's just my thoughts... i'm sure kurapika would want Hisoka to win... but would also probably prefer it if Hisoka didn't fight kuroro and didn't mess with what he had already set up... but Hisoka will do what ever he pleases...

windlily As for Kurapika, I think a new employer is in order pretty soon. Neon can't use her nen, and her father has gone completely insane. Her body part collecting is obviously going to be put to a stop when they run out of money. I say Kurapika should ditch them. Hmph! That's a really good point. With Neon's prophecy skills gone, her father probably wouldn't keep her around for much longer. She's no longer a money-maker, and therefor useless to him. And since she would no longer be an important part of her father's "business," she wouldn't need bodyguards. Though I can easilly see Nostrad wanting to keep Kurapika around, I highly doubt he would stay. After all, the only reason he took the job was because neon was a body part collector, and that gave him a chance at finding the eyes. So if she's gone, so is that window of oppertunity. Plus, I can't very well see Kurapika staying if Senritsu leaves.

I don't think Kurapika-san would like it if Hisoka fought Kuroro. Wouldn't he want to kill Kuroro himself? Revenge is what he's after all, right? I don't know. x3

I'm not sure what he wants anymore really. It got pretty complicated towards the end there, so I have a hard time figuring out exactly what Kurapika's going to choose.
I don't think he'd want Hisoka and Kuroro to duke it out because, obviously, that would mean Kuroro had his nen removed. And now that everyone knows all about Kurapika and his techniques, that would be a very bad thing. x3

Gah... it's not fair... i had a huge post written up with a reply and stuff... and then... it wouldn't let me post it... I'll do my best to recall the reminance of my post.
i sincerely think that if Senritsu no longer worked for nostrad that Kurapika would go with her. now that neon can't make her dad money... he probably would move on since she can't get bod parts any more... I know... that was said already... i was just agreeing. however... he might feel responsible and stay trying to figure out how to get neon's nen ability back... As was said before... several times... kurapika is very complex that we really can't determine what he'll do.
i am sorry for being so scatter brained in this post.

No problem, Hirui-chan. ^^
And yes, Kurapika is very complex. x3 But I'm not sure he'd feel responsibility toward Neon or her father. To me it seemed that from the very begining, their relationship was strictly business. Kurapika was there to earn their trust so that he could later steal the scarlet eyes once they were in Neon's possession.
In fact, I vaguely remember there being a scene in the anime when Kurapika walks by Neon's room as she's fiddling with her pen and goes up to her father who has absolutely lost it. The expression I remember Kurapika carrying didn't seem very attached at all. As if he was distancing himself even more so than usual. x3
And whether or not Kurapika wants to go with Senritsu or not, I say he should! He could really use her company. ^^

Say neon actually obtained the Hi No Me... and they weren't the fake ones... Then kurapika stole them from her and vanished without a trace. Do you suppose neon would throw a fit and send people out to look for him so she could get them back. The little brat would probably think it'd be okay to kill him for taking something that means nothing to her but a pretty accessery... but means everything in the world to kurapika. I'm pretty sure Senritsu would help kurapika take them and get out of there too. Yeah... staying with Senritsu would be the best thing for kurapika... i just can't imagine them being separtaed... they make a good team.

Yeah. She can really calm him down when he's going berserk. x3 And she's always soft-spoken even when she's angry, so it really helps to combat all that pent up rage because he can't bring himself to take it out on her. ^^
Neon probably would chase after him, but I'd wonder if the people she'd hire to chase him would really put their whole heart into it. All of her body guards seemed to trust Kurapika, even if they recognized that he was a very distant person. And they trusted Senritsu, so that sort of softened their view of Kurapika as well.

i think we can all agree that Senritsu is probably the best thing... well his friends are the best thing that has happened to kurapika. i guess you are right about that... her body guards do probably trust Kurapika a lot more than they care for neon's words and orders. o.o They would know that he wouldn't just take them without a good reason... and Senritsu certainly would help that matter since she is also greatly trusted.

I feel sorry for Kurapika having lost his entire clan/tribe and such hatred towards the spiders and a chained heart (even though he decided himself to do it) Man if had that life i would also have that hatred towards the spiders but i wouldnt know how to handle it. crying

Kurapika is incredibly strong for what he has gone through. he has a will that can be admired. Gah... that sentence... it was terribly written. Sorry. for his young age Kurapika is very mature, yet he also has a great deal of growing to do.

That's true. He can be a very contradicting character, neh? x3 But that paradoxical complexity makes him a very interesting and unpredictable person. ^^ He is indeed truly strong-willed. If he wasn't, there's no way he would have ever made it this far.
Unfortunately, I know exactly what I would have done under those circumstances Kurapika endured as I have spent many a night mulling over similar scenarios. I would harbor very little anger at all towards anyone except for myself. Life would go on, and I would probably become rather anti-social. Nothing more to it really. o.O

that makes sense... I don't think I would have taken Kurapika's path either... I don't really believe in revenge.
