Red dorm

"Oh, that's fine," said Ryan, still examining Aryn. "Pain killers might not have been such a good idea. They're blood thinners. If you have internal bleeding, it would make it worse." He looked at his brother with a worried expression.

"Dammit, Ryan, I don't have internal bleeding," said Aryn.

"There's no way you can know that for sure, Aryn, and you know it....Unless you really do have a concussion," said Ryan, taking a closer look at his brother.

Aryn pushed him away with his good arm. "Very funny."

"Oh, sorry." She said then giggled a little. "He's just worried about you Aryn." She said before walking back over to her desk and sitting down on it. "I am too." She said softly, not really meaning for it to be loud enough to be heard.

Ryan smiled at Misty in agreement before turning to his brother. "I think we should take you back to the dorm, Aryn," he said, more seriously. "The dance should be mostly over anyway, and classes start tomorrow."

Aryn looked at him for a second before giving a sigh. "If it was anyone but you...." he said, slightly frustrated. It passed and he forced himself to a stand, leaning slightly to one side.

Ryan looked at Misty. "Sorry for all the trouble," he said before going over to Aryn's side and forcing him to lean on him a little.

She nodded in agreement. "Ya, not that it was much fun to begin with." She said. "And don't worry about it, I had some fun." She smiled. She walked over to Aryn. "Thanks again." She wispered in his ear before kissing him on the cheek quickly so Ryan wouldn't notice. She waved at Ryan. "I guess I'll see you guys at school then." She said with a smile.

Aryn's eyes widened in surprise, his face turning slightly pink. After a moment he gave a slight smile at Misty. "I suppose so," he said softly, before thinking,Maybe I do have a concussion... There's no way that the one girl I really like in this school just kissed me. He tilted his head as an amusing thought hit him. Perhaps, two girls would be more appropriate...

Despite Misty's attempts to hide the kiss, Ryan was too observant and gave a quick smirk, looking for a second much like his brother, before turning it into a nice smile. "See you later, Misty. It was nice meeting you....both of you," said Ryan before ushering his brother out the door.

Misty blushed slightly and wouldn't look at Aryn. "See you." She said softly, still a little embarrased that she actually did that. She turned to go sit on her bed as they left.

Suddenly, Ryan came back and peaked through the door. "Um, Misty? One thing....do you think you can do me a favor? There's a girl with short red hair that stays in this dorm, too... her name is Lily. If you see her... can you let her know I'm sorry and I'll make it up to her?" Ryan turned a tiny bit red. "I was with her at the dance before that girl, Meryl, suddenly... well you know. Sent me here." He looked at her pleadingly.

She spun back around, a little suprised, to see Ryan. "Uh sure. If I see her I'll let her know..........on one condition." She said to him.

Ryan's expression changed to curiosity and slight surprise. He checked to make sure that his brother was still waiting by the door of the red dorm down the hall before looking back at Misty. "What is it?" he asked hesitantly.

"I'm sure you noticed, considering the quick smirk I saw. Can you make sure he knows that I really did k-kiss him." She stuttered out, not looking at Ryan now.

Ryan smiled and gave a quick nod. "You got it. I'll make sure he knows," he said, before disappearing from the doorway.

"Why are you so happy?" asked Aryn, leaning against the wall.

"I'll tell you when we're sure you're not suffering from head trauma. Otherwise, you still might not believe it," said Ryan.

"What's that suppose to mean, you little twerp..." whispered Aryn. His eyes softened as he gave one long last look back toward Misty's room before allowing Ryan to lead him back to green dorm.

She smiled. "Thanks." She said before he left. She fell on to her bed and screamed into her pillow. "I can't believe I just did that." She mumbled into her pillow before sitting up on her bed and looking at the wall, knowing she wouldn't be getting any sleep.

Misty heard someone and climbed out of her bed and opened her door to look out. "Hello." She said softly as se stepped out into the hall to look at the girls.
