Saying Abel didn’t care about him wasn’t completely true, he knew if he didn’t want anything to do with him that he would have kicked him out the minute he caught him in his office. Nor would he have allowed anything that followed after. Still, Jakob didn’t understand anything. Did Abel love him or hate him? He couldn’t tell. He also didn’t understand why his words offended him so much. It was all Jakob could do to not push him off and walk out now. Unfortunately they both knew he didn’t drive and his injury would not get him very far. As Abel pulled his hair and forced him back, Jakob let out a weak response.
He glanced away as Abel spoke again before pulling out of him. Jakob didn’t know what to say or do. He stayed kneeling while Abel shifted around him and leaned back against the headboard. Jakob still felt like a scolded child and contemplated leaving when the man grabbed him by the waist. Despite his mixed feelings, Jakob shuffled forward and came into the male’s lap. He looped his arms around Abel’s neck as he stared down at him. Jakob listened to the man sigh, not understanding the reasoning behind it. He wanted to question him, but wasn’t ready to have his hair pulled again.
