	"OkieDokie." Bana stepped away from the doorway and looked over to the old man. "Whats wrong with him that would make Irene sad?" Bana tilted her head then started walking toward the old man. "He just stopped moving, whats so sad about someone sleeping?"

	Irene returned the hug, then looked to her friends. Niko wiped her tears away, and it seemed that with every touch he was strengthening the emotion. She was able to think more clearly, and she gave a small smile of hope. "Thank you Niko... Thank all of you. I've never had friends before beside Mariah. The fact that you're still with me... Surprises me... But I'm glad you are. I don't know how I would have survived all this without you." Irene started to think. No doubt the charm was still in Bana, but not in effect because she's so far away from Mariah now. If darkness was the source of Mariah's magic, and light is the source of hers, and the feeling she's been having lately is the source of the light, then shouldn't the light cancel the charm? But first, she would have to know the feeling to concentrate on it. Then it struck her. Merlin knew about all of this before it happened. Maybe... "Yuki, you were with Merlin when he died right? Did he say anything other than about the drawer? Anything about a feeling or an emotion I wouldn't be familiar with?"

	He smiled gently, looking from her to Yuki as she asked Yuki about the strange emotion. He was curious himself, since he wanted to know why he himself felt more alive with Irene there beside him, but it was mostly for Irenes peace of mind. Yuki looked over at Bana. "I'm sorry Bana, but he's not just sleeping," She said quietly, not sure how to put it to the child that the old man was dead. A demon, even a child, would be already aquainted with death well, but still... Looking back at Irene and Niko, she noted the interest in Nikos eyes as well. She gave a soft sigh, deciding to just get it out in the open. Looking up at Irene, she nodded. "Yes, he did tell me that you'd ask this... And he told me what you're feeling... Is love. The emotion is love, Irene." Niko blinked, then instantly blushed as his pale skin would allow and looked away. Love?

	"Oh, so he's dead now." Bana looked at the old man a bit more 'Its weird. I feel sad for him. Why? Mommy always made people go to sleep for good... I guess its diffrent when you know the person. Even if it wasnt much.' Bana looked up at the three of them curious about there conversation. "Whats love?" Bana asked as tried to think of the meaning of the word.

	Irene's heart felt like it was being raised. She's never heard that word before, bu it was a name nonetheless. And deep inside of her she knew the source of this love must be her friends. Especially Niko. Irene looked over to him and saw him blushing. Irene did too. 'He must be feeling the same emotion.' Irene smiled and looked at Yuki. "Love. Okay. I may not... Know much about it. But if it's the source of what controls my power then I have to learn it well. My powers are completely under control, it must be love." Irene whispered silently to herself. "As long I think of Niko, I can feel love." Irene nodded at Yuki, agreeing with Bana. "Yuki, do you know mush more about 'love'?" ((Sorry, I was at a church camp all week. sweatdrop heart ))

	((Welcome back! ^.^ Hah, Irene doesn't know what love is... This will be fun to explain sweatdrop Bana too... )) Yuki smiled slightly, noticing Irenes confusion and how Niko had suddenly taken to looking at the ground. This was going to be amusing... "Yeah... Love is different for everyone, but it's when you care for someone very deeply. It goes far beyond just being happy. It's strange that you've never heard of it. Usually when people marry, it's because they fall in love with each other." She stole a glance at Niko when she said this, who was carefully avoiding everyones gazes. She looked back at Irene quickly, before she could accidentally burst out laughing. That would not help any of them at all.

	((Welcome back. But no worries we all take breaks. It just shows we all have lifes xd )) "Me and Mommy traveled together. I dont know my daddy because my mommy never married that I know of." Bana thought about it for a bit. "Maybe Mommy went back to Daddy when she left... Ohwell dosnt matter." Bana looked at Irene and Niko then got a new question in her mind. "Are Miss Irene and Mister Niko going to get married?"

	Irene blushed a lot at that. she wasn't allowed near people because she was thought of as sort of a bad omen. The princess that was going to lead the village to doom. In a way she guessed that was right. But still, once she witnessed a marriage hiding behind the same bushes and trees near the church. Though still she was too far away to feel any love. 'To have and to hold, for rich or for poor, in sickness and in health...' Irene recalled the minister's words. "As long as you both shall live... That's what the minister says. It seems a bit short. I would want this feeling, love, to last forever. Even after death." Irene blushed even harder, than regained her composure and looked at Niko. This whole time she wondered what he was thinking. 'He must think I'm talking so... Crazy.' She thought. Irene straightened and tried to get rid of the lump in her throat. "B-but anyways. I care about all of you. I have this feeling not only towards Niko. I couldn't bear to see any of you guys hurt." 'It just happens that it's strongest near Niko.' Irene thought.

	Niko blushed again at Banas question. Yuki laughed softly. "Bana, it's a bit too soon for them to be getting married. Well, tha's all the old man told me to tell you, so it's up to you what to make of it. But anyways, getting off that topic, what now? There doesn't seem to be any reason for us to stay here any longer." ((Sorry for taking so long to reply >.<))

	Irene shrugged. "The old man was all I had left here. I have nowhere to go." Irene looked a bit embarassed. "I don't even have a home anymore since... A certain incident." Irene was referring to the attack on the village before she met Niko and Bana. It was true she had nothing now but what she owned on her back.

	Bana looked at Niko confused at why he was turning red. 'It must be a sideaffect of the love thing or something' Bana looked at Irene and smiled. "Dont worry Miss Irene its funner when theres nowhere to go back to cause then you can only go forward!" Bana cheered then her stomack growled and gave an embarrassed look.

	Niko looked down at Irenes words, remembering the first incident with Shadow that had destroyed the village and resulted in them meeting. At times he wasn't sure if he was glad he had been in that village or not. So many deaths because of him, once again, and he had destroyed Irenes home too. The only reason he was glad all this had happened was because he wouldn't have met Bana or Irene if he hadn't been there. Now though things were getting complicated... Yuki laughed as Banas stomach growled. "Looks like we're eating before we go anywhere though. I found tons of herbs we can cook in the forest, though we'll still need to hunt for meat." At Nikos alarmed look, she grinned. "Of course, Niko will have to be far, far away until after it's all cooked, hm?"

	Bana smiled happily when Yuki said finding something to eat as remembered times scavenging around forests for food in the past. Then Bana looked at Niko and Yuki confused at that remark. "Why? Does Mister Niko have a weak stomack or something?"Bana asked kinda confused. 'Mister niko can fight but doesnt like dead animals? maybe hes a vagaterian'

	Irene's heart raced a bit, but a quick explanation came to mind. "Blood makes Niko queasy. It's best to keep him far, far away from it." Then Irene smiled. "You forget I went to town. I have plenty of meat. Enough for at least one meal. And it's already dead and everything." Irene was reminded again of Bana. "That reminds me, the charm..." Irene went to bana and placed a hand on her shoulder. 'Okay, love...' Irene thought about the old man, then Bana and Yuki. There was love. Her mind trailed to Niko. The way he spoke, his touch, when he saved her from Mariah's water spell... Her hand turned white. Her powers were completely under control, no slip, no pain. The light dimmed, and Irene looked at her hand. In the hand was the charm. Irene smiled truiumphantly. "It works, thank goodness. Irene took her other hand, and snapped it in two. As she did this, it crumbled into black ash completely. "After we eat, we should leave quickly. There's no telling when Mariah will wake up."

	"Oh Okay" Bana nodded remembering seeing people turn green and puking at the sight of blood before. Bana was confused when Irene put her hand on her shoulder then wondered where the charm came from when Irene took it. Sence Bana didnt have much memory of what happened earlier that day and wasnt paying enough attention to care about all of it ether. Bana shoved the question about where the charm came from to the back of her mind and smiled at Irene. "So where we going next Miss Irene?"
