Amy nodded, getting out a small container for what was left when the other two got done. “That’s too bad. The beach would’ve done you both some good,” She said, leaning against the counter and looking out the window.

Finally deciding, Gabriel put his fork down, using his fingers to carefully extract a few chunks of cantaloupe and some strawberries. Picking up his fork again he began spearing one and then another fruit before beginning to eat again. Alex on the other hand as still using her hands to eat the grapes, after all, it was rather hard to use a fork to eat them.

Sabre paused thinking a long moment. After a minute of complete silence he smiled, a plan in his head. "Ms Amy? Is there a garden shed around here? And if there is, do you know if there is any sand?" He asked grinning lightly. This just might work out after all.

“Yes, it’s around back. And there should be some bags of sand back in it,” Amy said looking at Sabre curiously. “Why? What do you have in mind?” She added, still watching him.

Finishing her grapes, Alex stood, taking her empty cup and plate. “You shouldn’t have to take your plate to the kitchen,” Gabriel said before taking a sip of his water. “I don’t have to. I want to,” Alex said, a bit quiet and ears already back because to the weather.

"Oh nothing. Just an idea if it does start to rain." Sabre answered as he finished the pots, placing them on a towel on the counter to start air drying till he was done. Moving onto the dishes he tilted his head lightly listening to Alex in the other room. So Gabriel was the type who expected more out of slaves. Part of him was curious as to how Alex and her brother were going to act with their different personalities about this sort of thing.

Amy nodded, looking towards the dinning room. “…….wonder who raised him,” Amy said to no one in particular. He wasn’t going to be her favorite person anytime soon. At least with how he was acting right now.

“Where is the library?” Gabriel asked getting up and leaning heavily on the chair for the moment. “Just past the stairs…” Alex said, watching him with some concern. With a nod the Neko took his cane, making his way to the library trying not to lean on the cane as much. With a light sigh Alex picked up his plate and cup.

"Maybe he was raised by a pack of wild cats. My old master used to tell me I must've been raised by rabid wolves." Sabre replied even though he knew she wasn't really talking to him. He paused briefly surprised he even mentioned the man but didn't stay still long. "Oh Alex, got more for me?"

Amy blinked a moment and then laughed. “I can see that for him. Rabid wolves however not so much for you,” She said, shaking her head. Alex shook her head a smiled, hiding the cups and plates behind her back. “I wanna help,” she said, still smiling. Her ears where a little bit more forward now that she was with Sabre and Amy.

Gabriel walked into the library, taking a seat in the chair just behind the desk. Leaning the cane against the desk he rubbed his knee. ‘Stupid knee…’ He thought for a moment, soon getting lost within his own mind.

"You didn't see me when I was little." Sabre chuckled. He looked at Alex with a slightly raised eyebrow. "Alright, fine. I'll let you help under one condistion. Once you are done you go upstairs and relax a bit, since it looks like it's gunna rain." He said looking at her as he started to dry his hands. If his plan was going to work she needed to be up and out of his way.

Amy shook her head again, smiling. Now, she was really curious as to what he was up to. Alex frowned slightly but nodded. She didn’t like the sound of the weather turning bad. But what could they do about it…? “Alright, you’ve got a deal…” Alex said, putting the plates and cups on the counter and holding out a hand for him to shake it. A small laugh escaped Amy at the sight.

Shaking her hand, Sabre chuckled lightly. "Alright then. Hurry up missy." He said smiling as he stepped out of the way. Smiling lightly at Amy he moved to make certain there wasn't anything left on the table. As he did Sabre heard the first rummble of distant thunder. Yep it was gunna rain.

Alex smiled widely when Sabre shook her hand and nodded. “Okay!” She said, hurrying to the sink and beginning to wash what she had. Amy smiled again at Sabre. “Well, it looks like your plans to the beach are on a hold…” She said, picking up the plastic bowl and going to put the leftover fruit in it. With her ears back Alex nodded from the kitchen. “Yeah…” She said, sounding just as disappointed as she looked. But then again maybe it was better they didn’t leave Gabriel all alone…

"Doesn't mean we can't go another day. Besides maybe by then we'll be able to convice Gabriel to join us." Sabre sugested as he leaned against the counter. He wanted to make certain Alex was safe in her room before he started. Watching the sky out the window a moment, Sabre moved to pick up a towel. Coming over he started to dry the dishes Alex cleaned.

“Maybe,” Alex said, her ears coming forward a little. Amy put the fruit into the fridge, watching the two. “Yeah, and hopefully his leg will be feeling better by then too…” Alex added, looking at Sabre as she handed him the last plate and began to drain the sink of the water. She rinsed her hands of the last of the bubbles and took the hand towel Amy offered her.

"Exactly. Now milady, if you'd kindly scoot up to your room. I'll be out back for a bit." Sabre said as he put away the last plate once it was dry. Smiling at her, he lightly ruffled her hair. Moving towards the door he slipped on his shoes. Opening the door he slid outside hoping he could get this done before it started pouring.

Alex blinked and watched Sabre leave, going out back. Now she was as curious as ever. “Go on. You made a deal with him. Now move it,” Amy said, smiling. Alex playfully stuck her tongue out at Amy but nodded, giving her a hug. “Will you be leave?” She asked and Amy nodded. “You three play fair, alright?” She said, making the Neko laugh a little before nodding. “Yes ma’am,” Alex said before making her way upstairs and to her room. Amy watched her for a second before heading to the library and leaning against the doorway. “I have to go now Gabriel. I’ll see you later, okay?” She said, causing the Neko to start from his thoughts. “Hm? Yes, alright,” He said, nodding and beginning to pull out his cell phone. With a light sigh Amy shook her head, and went back to the kitchen, putting all the things she bought this morning into a bag and setting it on the couch. Pulling her jacket on she left from the front door, locking it behind her.
