Sarest held back his anger as Luke breezed past them and snidely coaxed them even though they were going towards the factory already. Sarest shook a little bit in anger, "Know your place you jerk..." he muttered well under his breath. Alice took the hand he was balling into a fist, pulling him along to make sure he continued forward. Once they got up to the zombies that Luke had merely knocked down he gave both a solid smash on the skull with his crowbar, silencing their groans and stopping their scraping and snapping. 'I can see that he's gonna be a bit troublesome...' he thought, wondering how in the world he could justify leaving behind trouble.

Alice and Sarest both looked around once inside, trying to figure out where the ammunition that was already produced would be stored. The commotion on the other side of the factory seemed to have drawn most of the zombies in the factory, however, one came out of a closet after they passed by, roaring and swiping at them. Sarest whirled around, slamming the curved end of his crowbar through the skull of the undead one with a look on his face that might have killed it anyways. After slinging off as much gore as he could Sarest turned around and yelled to Luke, "Call me if you find any .22 LR or 9mm stores," he said before adding, "What type of bullets do you need?"

||Okay, I see where I made my mistake about djdog being at the steel factory, but I stand by where I said that I doubt you went through the whole factory and cleared it out (and I did read your post which says he went in, killed some, found some ammo, and left. Hardly clearing it of zombies or at least the suspicion of zombies (which in a zombie RP means there's gotta be more)).||

Noel stood on the roof of the high school, watching as survivors poured in from different parts of Scarborough. He was pleased with the progress they had made. Reilly and two other dogs stood at the door, sniffing the survivors who came in, if they were infected, one of Noel's men would take them out behind the school and put them down. He regreted it of course, but it was necessary, if he was to see his dream of taking back Scarborough, and of providing a safe haven in the school for survivors with nowhere to go, he had to weed out the infected. While the civilians were funneled into different rooms that would serve as their living quarters, skilled trade workers were aiding the Boyz in shoring up their defenses in case of a siege. The Human defenses were gaining momentum as well, many fathers, brothers of sons of the non infected, and some of the infected as well, were taking up perimiter watch posts. Noel looked around school from his vantage point. if he had a hope, this was it.

Owen sat on the back of the Humvee, stretched out in the sun watching the military specialists and some skilled workers that Beta squad had saved from hotspots in white zones, as well as those that had made it to strongholds file into the factory. Baird ran up suddenly out of the com tent that he had set up. "Owen, one of our sentries spotted civilians heading for the munitions factory. Shall I have one of our guards stop them?". Owen yawned, scratching his beard, "No, thas alright, I'll do this myself."

a few moments later Owen had gone across a catwalk one of the sentries had found and exited onto the balcony at the front of the munitions factory. He slowly raised his SCAR and pointed it at Sarest. (btw, Owen has a scottish accent) "Yah mind tellin me what yer doin in mah factory?"

Sarest heard the sound of steps up on the balcony, immediately going to grab his HK, but instead put himself in front of Alice when he saw the person already had a gun out, 'Dammit... if only we'd gotten here a little faster...' he thought, scowling. Alice tried to see around Sarest to see the man up on the balcony, but couldn't because Sarest kept holding her back. He remained silent for a moment before responding, "I guess it is your factory considering you've got the bigger gun, but I'm just here to pick up some ammo and be on my way. I don't want any trouble." Remaining composed was turning out to be a bit troublesome with Alice constantly trying to peek around him and finally jumping up on his back, peeking over his shoulder, "Alice, settle down...!" he muttered, turning his head away from Owen only for a moment before looking back with his usual venomous stare.

Owen chuckled as Sarest glared at him. "You have guts considering I'm pointing an assault rifle at you and you still decide to look at me funny. I like that." Owen watched Baird and Coles file in silently behind the two civilians. "However, this ammunition is not mine to give, it belongs to the Goverment of Canada.". Owen lowered his gun and slung it back over his back, "If you want it you're going to have to serve some time with the military, or you can join a registered squad with munition priveleges."

(btw i intentionally named most of the people after Gears, it was a little joke since i named it delta squad)

Sarest saw him look away from him for a moment, figuring that someone was closing in behind him, he just hoped that it wasn't a zombie with a caved in throat, but even then he would be able to hear it shuffling so he figured it was some of the man's colleagues. Sarest instinctively pulled Alice around in front of him, holding her like a child so that if they tried to jump him at least they couldn't be separated easily. He stepped forward cautiously after the man put his gun on his back, "Well, the offer sounds pretty good, but I have to decline for now. You see I've got an arrangement to meet someone as soon as possible," he said, hoping that they would just let him go at that.

James drove back around the lot, he had a couple days food in the back seat, he could hole up in the munitions factory it'd be a good idea after all, then he saw the other car there. He slowly got out of the car, grabbing the food and his sniper, which he swung around into the factory, aiming it the others, remaining unseen, trying to be silent, occasionally checking around for zombies, he found none, whoever came in here before him was good.

The air was dry. Same as it was any other time, all dead anyway. He walked down the hallway of the large house and stopped infront of Colbie's room. His hand was trembling as he reached for the door knob, but he resisted opening it because he knew she would would never be there again.

"Ren. It will be ok. It happens. We all knew people who are going or already have died."

Ren turned and saw Akira sitting on the floor across from Colbie's room. Her voice was cold, but Ren knew she wasn't herself after her friend's death. He sat down beside and put his arm around her in comfort.

"I know. It's hard losing people. I still blame myself for the death of the young boy we brought in. Remember him? we found him in a bathroom of a bank...He was near death but we saved him, later on we lost him two weeks later to a huge horde."

Akira's eyes swelled up and she looked at Ren.
"I remember. But also remember Ren, we are living in the world that is now dead. There are other people living too, and that's why we are here."

"Speaking of living Akira. The warehouse down the road at the intersection... I saw someone. She was just standing there, but she had a dog. What if we can form a treaty with them, and what if there are other nearby groups?"

They both fell silent in the house, with the moans of the undead outside, reminiscing about Colbie.

"Keep working hard guys, we'll be the most special kids on the block with this bus," She chuckled a little, scrubbing Skye on the head again. Dahlia walked over the the garage door when she heard a ringing noise, "Ooh, delivery's here."

Dahlia was always impressed with the fact that many frozen food factories had been put back into work to provide sustenance to the squads of north america while they clear the threats in the enemy territory. She tugs on a chain and lifts the door, revealing the delivery man, "Frank! So good to see you!"

"You see me every week, why are you always so excited?" the rotund man says with a laugh.

"You bring me foods, that's why. I'm like an adorable puppy in that aspect. What have you got for me?" She tries to peek over his shoulders into the armoured truck turned into frozen delivery.

"Mostly fish and milk, and lucky you, you get vegetables too" He says marking off a bit on his checklist. He peered around her in turn, "You're not getting deliveries from someone else, are ya?"

"Heck no, that's our ride, Luke and Kevin just finished it up, I want them to go take it out for a test actually. Let me call some of my people to help move it in." She buzzes on an intercom near the door, and three people came running in, "Marcus, Karey, Leon, can you guys get the dolly's and put the rations in the freezers?"

They all set about the task efficiently and with little complaints, especially Marcus.

"Well, I guess that's it hun, anything else?" Frank said as he holstered his list

"Nope, we're good frank... wait, one thing, you don't mind getting out of that thing, do you?" she looks at his entry to the back right from the cabin.

"Nah, that's why they give me a gun, why?" He said as he narrowed his eyes at her curiously.

"Do me a favour and tag any active cars for me? I want to start doing treaties with other groups," She pulled a stack of papers from her classic military medic bag, jostling the first-aid kit inside, then handed them to him, "Just slap 'em under the wipers for me if you can?"

"You're gonna owe me a favour missy." He says with a laugh as he went back to his entry and pressed the button to start closing the back of his truck slowly

"I'll make you dinner some time, fish and peas and carrots, mmmm." She says in return with a laugh, pulling the chain to close the door again.

Owen held a finger to his earpiece as a land warrior readout came in front Coles' mic. "Hey Captain, I've got my sights on another one of the looters, should I make my presence known?" Owen pulled his mic down, "No not yet Coles.". He Looked down at Sarest. "First off, I can't do that, policy is if we find non-squad civilians, we have to evac them to the nearest stronghold, in your case its the GTA. when you arrive you can join up with a squad if you feel so strongly about wandering the white-zones. Now, this friend you have to meet with, he wouldn't be a young boy holding a Desert Eagle who one of my soldiers has his assault rifle pointed at right now would he?" Owen yawned lightly.

Noel watched as the finishing touches were put onto the barricades. Wood beams cut in the woodshop had been boarded up across both sides of the doors to the street and schoolyard. On the roof, the survivors were setting up turrets and nailing them down with collected railway spikes. At the top of the street, a large horde of zombies was advancing towards the school, attracted by the overwhelming smell of live humans, and the moans of their brothers. Noel looked at the advancing horde and looked over at Bobby. "Go call in the military Evac."

(btw akari, if you have someone monitering radio waves how come he hasn't picked up the emergency broadcast from the school yet?)

Akira and Ren stood looking through the window at the warehouse down the road.

"Look, they even have delivery taken to them." Ren said.

Akira turned to Ren in response, "Yeah. How many do you suppose are in there?"

Ren shook his head
." I don't know. Would have to be more than two. There is no way a truck would just go there and deliver food when the world has fallen. There was to be alot more than 3 would be my guess."

She smile meekly. "Well then, time to suit up a bit and head on over, maybe grab some treaty with them. The food isn't the best here and since they get some taken tothem, or something, maybe it will be good. We can supply them with blunt force weapons, and medical needs. Good thing i took lots from the hospital when the outbreak occurred huh?"

They stood at the large window peering over, slowly and casually, the rest of the group came over to their side, and they stood and stared across the roads to the large warehouse, hoping..

Dahlia looked everything over in the backroom before nodding to the two mechanics and heading over to the office. She pushes open the door and closes it behind her, "Hey John, Jacob"

Jacob looked up at her with a big grin, the 10-year-old was so easy to please, all it really took was showing up alive, "Dahlia! How was your night?" He said as he jumped up and hugged Skye tightly, "And what about you? Yes you're a good girl!"

"I slept good, and if you spoil that dog, it'll be on your head kid, remember" She teased him with a laugh as she walked over to the room with John and the radio, "What've you got for me today?"

The old man leaned back, scratching at his beard, "Well, I think a new squad, or maybe an old silent squad, just announced itself over the radio. Didn't say the name of his group, but the guy's name is Noel Nygls." He tapped the record he had written out as he had been listening to it. "I didn't want to respond without you here, but he wanted everyone to report that highschool so it could be fortified"

Dahlia made a face at this, "Pushy, and I like where we are... if we move we'd have to contact the top, as well as send our new address to Frank. That food is our payment and I'd really hate to miss a payment." She leans on the desk for a moment, "Contact them and tell them we support their cause, and if they need anything, give 'em our address. I'll send Luke and Leon out as a delegate later today or tomorrow, but right now I want to get stuff done."

John nodded and began to broadcast the message in response to Noel. Dahlia walked back into the room with Jacob, "What were you up to all night kid?"

He flashed the controller at her, "I was playing mario-kart for a while, but then John told me to sleep."

She grinned evilly, "Remember, you gotta call him Gramps, he hates that." A loud confirmation came from the other room and she laughed, "Play some shooters though kid, that other stuff is gonna rot your brain. At least with shooters you can pretend you're training. You aren't gonna take out any zombies with a blue shell"

Jacob giggled and went to plug in the 360. It hadn't been hard getting those; her husband had been a gamer and she couldn't bring herself to get rid of the consoles he had. When they had found Jacob she knew there was a reason she had kept them then.

Pressing the button for the intercom, Dahlia leaned over to it, "Marcus?"

The response crackled in shortly, "Yes Dahlia?"

"Do me a favor and check the buzzer out front? Bring a replacement cover and fix it, looks like a zombie gnawed on it after I left last night. Everyone else, we'll be going out in about 2 hours. The time now is 8 am. Get all your gear ready, we gotta clean some streets." She brought out her pile of papers and started scratching out her reports from yesterday, while Jacob was mashing on the buttons next to her.

Noel listened to the response from the Silencers, leaning back in his seat, he pulled out the Ham Radio's mic and spoke into it. "I appreciate your plan to send a delegate, but i want to make it clear I didn't meant to suggest you all move in here, the high school is not a base, it is a refuge, I recently sent a broadcast to the Military for a evac, the message was meant to be sent out to anyone who could aid in the Evac, or needed one. However I need you to keep your delegates with you, shortly after the message was sent, the sounds and smells of our workers and sentries attracted a chain mob. it is too dangerous for you to send someone right now. The Military has suggested that they will evac us to somewhere near your position, if you want to make a treaty then, i'm more than open to it."
Noel cut off the transmission as the first zombies arrived at the doors, pounding on the barricades in an attempt to get in...

Owen spoke into his mic, "Coles, put the gun away.", "I don't want to give you any trouble either kid but-" "Captain, you need to report to the Apache ASAP." Owen stopped in mid sentence. "What was that Baird?" "One of our radio moniters picked up a transmission from a high school in Scarborough...its in a red zone but they claim to have a large number of survivors there, shall I contact HQ and ask for a evac squad?"
Owen scratched his beard, "Yes, I'll be at the Apache in a second, tell Carmine, Dominiques and Marcus to report to the Apache as well. I want you to co-ordinate the evac along with Coles, the rest of the team and I will provide support to the defenders." Owen flipped his mic back up and put his helmet back on. "Alright, I have to go help out with an Evac, unless you have a better idea, I suggest you kids take the first chopper out of here and sign up with a squad." Owen walked out of the factory and towards his Chopper, the rest of the squad were already strapped into their seats. Owen slowly sat down in his chair and signalled to the pilot to take off as he strapped in. "So we're going into a red zone?" Carmine asked as the chopper began takeoff. "Yah, hopefully they haven't pulled a chain mob." Owen replied before the helicopter blades cut off the rest of his sentence.
