[OH DESIRE]

The curtains fluttered as a cool, crisp autumn breeze travelled through the room. The sun peaked its way out from behind the tall trees of the dense forests surrounding the school grounds, drowning the building in a golden glow. Giant Piyos chirped, and voices of children talking excitedly of the new school year as they walked to homeroom could be heard faintly in the distance. It was a beautiful day.
"Atari.. shut the damn window.." A petite young woman muttered as she rested her head against the large desk filled with papers. The silver-haired man made no effort to comply. "It's a nice day out, though.. and if I do, you're just going to fall asleep again." In response, the woman merely rolled her head in the other direction and groaned. Atari sighed. "It's your turn to attend the opening ceremonies! I'm definitely not going in your place again." He shuddered, thinking of all the children. "Whatever," She replied. She lifted her head a little and asked hopefully, "Hey, did Rei say she was coming to visit this month?" Atari shook his head. "No, she's busy with.. whatever the hell she does. How does a spaz like that have a career?" Shizune was silent. "Well, anyway," he continued, getting up. "I have stuff do to. See you."
After he left, Shizune stood up and walked sluggishly over to the window. She watched elementary students walk by while she daydreamed. It seems like it was only yesterday when Rei and Atari were that size.. they were so cute back then.. and they didn't talk back! She thought, sulking. After a few more minutes, she turned around and called, "Akumaaaa! Come here!"

Akuma Had been sitting in a little chair near the door and had heard everything. She figited as ATari left the room. When Shizune called her she smiled and jumped out of the chair almost knocking it over as she ran over to Shizune. "Yes Shizune~sama?" She said smiling as she stood in front of Shizune waiting for her to tell her what she wanted. Akuma had been with Shizune since she was 4 and Had done anything Shizune had ever asked of her for She had saved her from Her parents that hated her and her town that did too to a place where she was no different from the other students, well She still was she was not allowed to go out of Shizune's office or her room because of her Alice of Pain that she could not turn off sometimes, but she didn't mind being away from The other students as long as she was with Shizune.
