Vincent looked back at Joshua and frowned. "Well it's one of them... according to a news report me and Horatio saw those ones are called Smokers. For obvious reasons...but..." Vincent looked back to the front."I wouldn't worry about them as much as the others.....as far as I know there are 7 others besides the smoker. The only one I have a real hate against are-" Suddenly Vincent's sentence was cut short due to a very loud shreiking sound that echoed off the brick walls around them. "s**t...speak of the devil..."

(What special are you referring to? I play with the volume on low so I don't really know the sounds all that well.)

Horatio ran out of the saferoom, sprinting towards the dumpster halfway down the alley and ducking in cover behind it.

"Hunter inbound! 12 o'clock high! He's on the rooftop on the other side of the street, I saw him jump there. How do we want to get this guy? bait him, or try our luck with shooting him until he dies? He knows we're here, so it's not like we can just wait him out!" Horatio shouted to the group, "And Joshua, As soon as we get quiet time in a safe place, I'll tell you about the other 6 special infected. That is, the ones we don't encounter on the way to said spot. And don't worry, Vincent and I memorized the maps of the saferoom's in this area, we'll do our best to get us there alive."

Vincent followed Horatio and looked up at the rooftops. "Boy seeing these guys in action makes you a little jealous I have to admit..." Vincent glared up at where the hunter's "ugh" sounds were heard where it was hopping and landing. "...but if I start to turn into one of those things, do me a favor and shoot me." Vincent held a special hate for hunters. A Hunter is what infected his dad, who turned and killed his sister. "When the time comes, can I shoot him? I'm feeling really fiesty right now..." Vincent cocked his Combat Rifle.

"Whoa! What's that thing!?" Joshua watched as it darted form rooftop to rooftop. "Do I WANT to know why it's called a hunter? Considering the obvious name of the smoker, I'm just going to assume not and duck." The hunter jumped over his head. "I guess I'm the bait then." He said as he ducked again. The hunter pounced and Joshua whacked it out of the air and held it down with his baseball bat. "HOLY CRAP! IF YOU WANT TO SHOOT THIS THING THEN HURRY UP AND DO IT!" The hunter pushed the bat off and jumped away. "Get back here!" Joshua yelled as the hunter jumped back to the rooftops. "Yeah, you better run!" Joshua called after the hunter. He turned back to the others. "Well that didn't work. Oh look, he's back." He pointed to another rooftop where the hunter had reappeared. "Are all of them this irritating?" He asked.

Vincent took careful aim and shouted at the Hunter. "Hey ya little wuss! Come and get your meal!" The Hunter growled at Vincent, then screamed it's aweful shreik and pounced at Vincent, claws at the ready about to tear into Vincent's flesh ad end his life....or, well, he would've if Vincent hadn't shot him in the head as he was jumping, causing him to plop and roll right by Vincent. "Haaaaahahahahahah!" Vincent went over to the Hunter's body and kicked it once more to make sure it was dead. "Freak. That one was for my dad." Vincent reloaded his weapon and smirked over at everyone else. "What do you think, zombie kill of the week?" Vincent asked, referring to his ex-favorite zombie movie.

Horatio walked over to the body and shot it in the head.

"Rule 2. And not even close Vincent. Anyway, we have to keep moving before more show up. The last thing we need is to be cornered in this alley. If we hurry we can make it to the Police Station before sundown. Otherwise we'll have to spend the night exposed, and I don't feel like sleeping where zombies can get me." Horatio said.

Vincent's gun reloaded, he scratched his head. "Oh yeah, double tap. Anyway your right, the stronger the doors there are , the safer we can sleep, so we'd better get to that safe room." Vincent checked down the alleyway and signaled for the others to follow.

Horatio followed Vincent down the alley, not making a sound except for his feet lightly hitting the ground as he crept along. He entered the street, looking up and down it, noticing a few Infected further down the street, not noticing him. He walked to a car, making sure it's alarm wasn't activated, and ducking behind it. He looked around once more, motioning for the others to quietly come out one by one.

Vincent followed behind Horatio and hid behind the car with him. "Doesn't seem too bad... Just a few zombies and thats it...that seems to easy." Vincent took another look around. "You guys ever get that feeling something bigs gonna happen?"

Kyle had been chased by lots of special infected.The last one was a tank.He barly got away from it.He made the tank get stuck in a room and he then threw a pipe bomb at it.The explosion killed the tank.Kyle limped around a corner and saw someone run behind a car.He saw some zombies and made noise to attract them.He then blew there brains out with his auto shoutgun.He pointed the gun at the car and yelled "Hello are you people humans."He muttered to himself "Please be humans please be humans I cant deal with more zombies."

George walks behind the group not noticing the boy that was behind them. George puts his hand on Vincent's shoulder. "Turn around there is another survivor do you want me to get him?" George says quietly.

Kyle limped closer to the car and yelled "Are you people human." He heard a boomer and spun around a shot it before it was to close.Some of the barf landed mere inches in front of him.The smell was horrible.It made Kyle gag and almost throw up.He then repeated "Are you humans."

Horatio watched as the new kid killed the Boomer, instinctively ducking from the explosion even though it wasn't anywhere near him.

"Are you insane?!" Horatio shouted in a whisper at the new guy, "Get over here and shut up! Do you want the Tank to know we're here?!" Horatio ducked back behind the car, looking down the street on his side of the car, seeing a huge muscular arm from inside a door, hearing grunting also.

"If we're quiet, we can sneak by him," Horatio said, then though for a moment, "Gad dammit! I just remembered, we have to go by him in order to get to the saferoom path!"

Horatio watched as the new kid killed the Boomer, instinctively ducking from the explosion even though it wasn't anywhere near him.
