... Good point. Alright then, here's my suggestion. We go through the fundraiser for our room. I THINK we can tone down the Chaos equivalent ranking a little if we wanted to. And we can follow the Blue Forest format, with all the first degrees and second degrees and all. In that case, we will need to be active bumpers. LIVE ROOM!! D8 Agree?

First things first: We need a name for our fundraiser. Something that stands out of the crowd. Maybe something to do with this year's Ball Theme: Seven deadly sins. These are the few names I can think of at the moment:
1) Glacial breeze
2) Green bananas (seriously, I would click if I see this post xD)
3) Luminous Jade

Dusky : Hahahahahahahahahahaha XD oh, good times, good times, this was. Whenever I feel like having a good laugh I'll just run off to read one of those, or that private role-play we had on MSN. Never fails to crack me up either. Hopefully this year'll be as enjoyable as last year. Or better. xD

I made a substantial donation some time ago; this is making me wonder if it made it to the right people.

I just was wondering wouldn't we need to have a average goal of money that we must reach so then we can keep a track of how much we have and how much we need and each time we reach a goal we raise it higher a little so we earn as much money as possible. I think after we have raised the money we should split into small groups so each group gets given a certain budget for outfits, prizes and whatnot.

good news number two: i have gotten far on my research, and i learned that tek-tek contests have around 3 times as many entry's as regular contests, because they have a better chance at wining, and we can boost to everyone can have 2 entry's for a better gain in money.

not bad, not bad at all. also, for everyone, i have like, 200k on me right now, so once we decide on the items we'll need for our avatars, i'd be happy to buy any items i can. it would require me to go without buying mc's for a bit on the marketplace ( crying ) but it is a sacrifice i am willing to make for the good of this guild and the ball. (geez, i sounded like a queen right then... i've been playing fable 3, and i get reeealy sucked into video games when its a good game so occasionally i may act.. a little strange...)

Apoplexic: Answer to your question: Last year, we fundraised past 5 million Gold, if I'm not mistaken. I think the donation you made was to the Guild as a whole, correct? When did you donate? If you did donate to the Guild, you can check it with our main host Princess Angelisha (host of the pride room).

ShinnaNinja: That's a good idea. =D That way, we can let the donators know just how much we're aiming for. It would be a good motivation. =)

Sailor: The belts do look very pretty! *thumbs up* That's a very good suggestion you made. Unfortunately, the avatar items/outfit can only be determined only when the main plot is out, since we don't know when and where the plot takes place in our room, whether it's in the past, present or future, whether it involves fantasy creatures or just humans, etc. We'll keep that in consideration when its time to decide on the outfits, kay? =) We appreciate your sacrifice, o' Queen!! (Mwuhahaha Shakespear lol =P)

Like what Dusky pointed out, we have the usual problem with prizes. What are the prizes for the usual tektek contests? Is it something we can afford? Is it something we can gain money from, or the other way round? Actually, we can work the theme around the upcoming Christmas festive! Snowy and Christmas theme! *laughs along with Dusky and pats little Sub on the head*

From an estimation I made, if you add up the prizes for 6 contests and the avatar items for 6 characters, we'll need approx 2-3 million in Gaia Gold (if no Gaia Cash is used). I suggest we start on the 'tip jar'/Blueforest donation idea from Dusky, while the tektek contest and writing contest is still on hold, and see how much we can earn. Then we work our way around from there. Everyone okay with that?

So this is how the fundraising is going to work: Basically, we'll need bumpers for the fundraiser once its up. Any volunteers who're around often? (By often I mean everyday) Who would like to work on the thread layout? Who can work on the badge? (Though I can work on both, if given the time which I do not really have right now) Also, the name for the fundraiser. (besides purple apples and green bananas XD) Any ideas, people?

As an off note, I won't be around on the coming Tuesday and Wednesday (which is Monday and Tuesday for everyone's time there) since I'm having my SPM (GCSE/AP exam equivalent) these two days. In my absence, Dusky will be in charge.

i am getting farther in my research, right now im trying to find the most popular tek tek theme which is "ok" easy... and i got a great name "killer squirrels" or "royal subterfuge"and maybe "Caviler combustion"

AAHHHH GUESS WHAT? I thought of an idea last night as I was trying to sleep but my overactive mind was preventing me!!

If we do Green Bananas (for a jungly theme) our badges could be like
Level One: Flower
Level Two: Dragonfly
Level Three: Monkey
Level Four: Tiger
Or something jungly like that. And I can work on badges and the layout, but I'll probably be better at badges.

OH! And the plot should be out soon, which is good. That means we can get busy :]
And as for the contest (which I'm just gonna call Green Bananas until we seriously decde on a name), I made a sample of what we could do we if went with the jungle theme, but I can't post it right now so I'll do it later. Also, how much money should they have to donate for each badge? Like under 10k is level 1, 10k-50k level 2, 50k-100k level 3 and above 100k is level four? It's a lot less for the biggest badge of the Blue Forest (100k compared to 1mil) but we'll still bring in some money. And as for what the Blue Forest called 'Buttons', should we do that? I feel like we need to do something that'll make it much more different so people aren't like 'Hey, you just took that idea! It isn't yours!! scream scream scream ' or something. So, any ideas? Maybe you get a stack of pancakes (or ink, something that there's a lot of) for every 10k (or so) worth of cloths/items you donate? XD We could give away banana pancakes... o.o
Oh, and Shu, I forgot, are you Envy or Love?
Ugh...I want to plot to come out so we can start working on my favorite part...the CHARACTERS O:
