Astronomy Class (roleplay)

Clara fiddled with her wand until everyone left.

Luna looked back at Clara as she went out
Interesting...she waved hi and went to her dorm

"Somethng about my class seems to bother you," Proffessor Iracebeth said as she walked towards Clara," As a teacher, I have no right to pry on your personal life," she waved her wand and the night sky vanished from the ceiling,"but the stars bother you. Why?"

"They don't seem...Normal to me." Clara said sliding her wand into her robe. "They reminded me of a dark day, but I shall be fine." Clara gave a gentle smile.

Professor Iracebeth gave her a kind smile.
"Stars remember everything, my dear, it's up to us if we let ourselves be reminded." she turned around and headed for her desk."For now, you can go;
I'll see you on our next class."

Clara nodded. "Thank you professor." Clara said standing and grabbing her books.

Professor Iracebeth sat at her desk, reading, waiting for tardy students to come.
"My word, no one cares for stars anymore..." she sighed.

Silvia burst into the classroom, screaming "I'm so not late! I'm so not late!" In her hurry, she tripped over thin air and tumbled to the ground. She caught herself with a ninja roll and bounded into her seat, hair frizzing everywhere and dark circles under her eyes. "Whew..." She huffed, out of breath. She flopped her books onto her desk, and glanced around the classroom. "Dude, there's no one here!" She mentally cursed, and looked up at the teacher, who was the only person in the whole room. "Um, did I miss class?" Silvia questioned, wiggling restlessly in her seat.

Proffessor Iracebeth looked up from the top of her book, "No actually, you're the first one here," she said, tipping her glasses, "Seems like your schoolmates don't think of Astronomy as a main subject. Ten points to whatever house you're in."

"Seems like now," Professor Iracebeth said, checking the grandfather clock in the classroom, "Now," she stood up and paced across the room, "Can anyone tell me what star is the most prominent in the night sky?"

" The most prominent star? hmm. i've got no idea, prof. I'm quite bad in astronomy.." Melody mumbled.

"Apparently the dog star, Sirius," Professor Iracebeth said, pointing her wand at the ceiling, it darkened then glimmered with a thousand stars, one stood out among the rest, shining brightly. suddenly, the teacher was drifting out of the topic and just stared up there.
"A thousand beautiful stars and only one student interested to learn them..." she said wistfully.
