The reason why I wouldn't seek revenge is because as angry as I would be at those who took the lives of those I care about.... I wouldn't want to hurt their friends and family members. I mean... just because said people hurt me I really don't think it'd be right to kill that person and cause those who care about them the same kind of pain I had to go through. Gah! that was so vague... I hope it made sense.

And, yeah, I understand. After you feel all of that pain, it's hard to imagine purposely placing the very same feelings on someone else just so you can feel better. And when you really think about it, the chances that you actually will feel any better are slim to none.
Kurapika has amazing resolve and an iron will. I have neither.

Exactly... besides... I do wonder.... the members of the Genei Ryodan... they must have family members... they can't have just been magically dropped on this Earth... I really wonder who their blood family is... Obviously Karuto is related to Killua... and that makes me wonder... If Kurapika faces the Genei Ryodan... will he have to take out Karuto since he is now a member... Or will he let him off since he wasn't a member when they slew his conrads... It's so confusing.

I'm sure that all the Ryodan members have family somewhere. But taking their origins into account (being from Ryuusei and all), and them being a notorious criminal group, I don't think they would be in contact with them much. Though I can see some of the Ryodan retaining some sort of bond with their families.
Personally, I don't think Kurapika could bring himself to harm Karuto. Not that he harbors any like or dislike for him, but just the fact that Karuto is related to Killua would make it hard. If there's one thing Kurapika proved in York Shin, it's that he valued his friends more than his revenge. Killing the family member of a friend would definitely not go over well with him. The fact that Karuto was not involved in the massacre could influence the decision as well (coould point, Hiruiseki). Kurapika doesn't know when the other members joined, so he must assume that they all were invloved in killing his clan. But on the other hand, he knows Karuto is blameless, and so would probably let him go. I don't Kurapika could bring himself to kill an innocent, either.

*nods* And it seems like karuto is close with Killua... I mean... you see more of that in the musical i guess, but it isn't hard to believe. karuto on the other hand might actually want to fight Kurapika though because of the whole taking Killua away from him thing... Honestly I think it would be an interesting fight to say the least if Kurapika were accept the challenge. Karuto is so young... my guess is he is between eight and ten... but I am not sure... I am trying to take into consideration Aruka... I have yet to see Karuto powers though... but I think that you mentioned something about his abilities, Windi-chan... but I can't recall right at this moment.

Me thinks he would go after Karuto because he joined a group such as the Genrai Ryodan, and I guess he won't forgive any one of them due to their sinful acts?

Hiruiseki I have yet to see Karuto powers though... I've only seen up to Greed Island, and in one of the last few episodes Karuto says something about his powers helping the Ryodan locate the person who void nen. Yeah. I think I said something along those lines. At least some of his abilities are revealed during the Genei Ryodan side story in the Chimera Ant story arc. Still don't know what it is he used to locate the Nen Eraser.
And please, for the love of all things pure, could someone tell me why Kurapika is wearing a bra?!?!

Kurapika's story is the most saddest out of all the characters.I cried for him once. crying I really feel strong for him,he should get his revenge....I mean its so sad!!!Poor Kurapika....Who really thinks that Kurapika one day will kill all the Spiders and get back all his tribes eyes back? I kinda think he might not kill all the Spiders but maybe he'll recover the Scarlet Eyes...Dont know.
I reamber in this one episodes of Hunter x Hunter,Kurapika gets like some flashback,an image of a little child running I think,(He/She had its back turned so you could not see the face.) Who was that...? His brother,best friend,lover? I have not watched all the episodes yet but I really want to know who that one person so dear to Kurapika-san was....
