I hope its better than last years.Only problem was the lack of signs.I wish they'd have the con in the Hyatt,like Shio.

So Anime Matsuri is over and done with and for those who cant make the trip to Dallas or San Antonio,Houston is the next big thing right? Well Oni-con is coming up and I want to see a good turn out this year.I know there were problems lat year,but it WAS better than Anime Matsuri and the GRB is monstrous.Guess you cant really blame the staff huh?So who all is going? I'm gonna be cosplaying as usual,cant wait to see all the beautiful peeps and cosplay.See ya October 19th,woot!

I'm definately going to Oni-Con. I usually bring friends with me to cons, but I'm probably going to this one solo. (My choice, they probably want to go though : ( ). I'm probably going as Urahara, the same costume I'm using for Atsuicon, but if I change my mind, I'll go as Nabeshin from Excel Saga.

There's a really funny story behind the sudden appearance of last years signs on the sencond day, i believe it was. But this year I'm going to Oni-con but after the drama at Ikkicon, i'm not going w/ my friends.

Not to many details, i won't get anyone in trouble. But a staff member returned a little tipsy and began giving directions that they needed signs and where to put signs. And so the overnight staff made a bunch of handmade signs and put them up around the con to let everyone know where things were at. The full story you'd have to hear from him, but it was hilarious.

No joke? Guess some people do get smarter when drunk.Well whoever that was needs to get docked pay for coming in tipsy,then a massive raise for helping us get around.He or she has my thanks,they fixed a major problem for the con.And besides is it possible to hang signs from the GRB ceiling in the hallways,if so,you'd never have a single complaint. 3nodding

Honestly, I've only seen the first few episodes of Excel Saga, but the DVD set is sitting on a shelf at my local hastings, so I'll be sure to grab it and watch it all before Oni-Con : P I'd hate to cosplay a character and not know a single thing about him. I have so many people counting on me! I've gotta be the best Nabeshin I can be!

Get it NOW! It is worth the buy,I've seen it about 3 times and honestly there's 2 boring eps,me being the guy I am,I dont care about Menchi's Escape etc. Other than that,that series is the bomb! And I understand the not knowing a character before you cosplay,I'm gonna do Saix eventually,and I dont own a PS@ or ever played KH,so I've got my work cut out for me.But yeah,get a Big ol fro wig man.
