Alfred let out a breath and nodded. " A-Ah. I see. Okay. Do you need me to bring anything, or go over there at all?" Alfred asked wondering if he could do anything to help. ' It was my fault for letting Kiku go into the storm like that!' Alfred thought to himself.

Arthur gave a soft chuckle. "What, and skip the meeting yourself?" he questioned in a soft voice, still keeping his green eyes closed wearily. His lips curved up into a tiny, tired smile and he shivered slightly, his hair still damp from the rain. "You planned the meeting, you have to go through with it, lad," he murmured, shifting so he was able to pull his knees to his chest and make himself comfier on the hardwood floor.

Hearing the guilt in the boy's voice, he sighed. "And don't be so hard on yourself, Alfred. You're not at fault, here. You were only trying to help." It was probably the closest he'd come to apologizing for his earlier actions, he realized, fighting back the faint blush on his cheeks. He decided to blame the alcohol.

Kiku woke up slowly, his eyes adjusting to the area around him. He was in a very nice English home and in a comfortable bed, but Kiku prefered his own bed back home in Japan. There was a wet, cold cloth on his forehead, so Kiku took it off as he slowly sat up. His head was spinning, but that didn't deter Kiku from getting out of the bed and finding out where he was. Feebly, Kiku accomplished his goal of getting out of the bed and walked gingerly to the door, opening it to find Arthur sitting with his back against the wall, taking to someone on the phone.

"Arthur-san?" Kiku murmured softly in question, "Ah, so I am at your house. Who are you talking to?"

Alfred let out a sigh. "I wasn't planning on bailing, old man. I was just gonna run over if something was needed." Alfred said with a scowl. 'Yeah it is my fault Iggy. I said I'd be a hero and force him if I thought he was lonely and I did nothing. I watched him go. "Bye, Iggy. See you and the next meeting. Sorry. I'm sorry." Alfred's voice cracked near the end. He ended the phone conversation and wiped his now tearing eyes. It was his fault. If he payed attention more, these things could be prevented. ' I'm sorry Arthur. For a whole lot of stuff.' Alfred filled up his coffee cup and went back to the meeting room and took his chair once more. He'd let Germany take this meeting.

Arthur's eyes widened as he heard Alfred's voice crack. "Ah, I-" He was cut off as the phone beeped, indicating that the connection was lost. 'Lad, don't blame yourself for our pride,' he thought, a bitter feeling twisting in his gut.

He blinked as he heard Kiku, and glanced up as he closed his phone. "Ah, you're awake," he murmured, blanking the guilt from his eyes quickly and replacing it with a look of concern. "I didn't know where else to take you, at least, not in this storm," he admitted, shaking his head. Still sitting, he closed the phone. "I was talking to Alfred, telling him not to worry." He didn't go on to mention how it had been a pointless matter.

He pocketed his phone and sighed, running a hand through his hair. "How are you feeling?" he asked awkwardly, before shaking his head. "That was stupid. You're ill. You should still be in bed."

Kiku's eyes had taken on a sad look when Arthur said that he had been talking to Alfred. Sure, the European man could tell his stubborn American charge not to worry, but that didn't mean that Alfred wasn't going to worry about them anyway. He felt guilty that he had gone out in the rain and was now a burden to Arthur because of his tendency to get sick easily.

"Ah, I am feeling much better, Arthur-san," Kiku lied convincingly, "More importantly, how are you? You seem stressed."

Looking down, Kiku was torn between asking Arthur if he could call Alfred and apologize and just letting things settle down. In all honesty, Kiku was beginning to feel a twinge of remorse towards Alfred, who had to listen to both Arthur and himself rant about their problems. Although Alfred tried to help them both, the two older nations didn't understand where Alfred was coming from. Now, with a somewhat clearer head, Kiku now knew what the younger nation was trying to accomplish and he wanted to apologize for not saying so earlier. However, it would be rude to ask his host for such a immature need, so Kiku didn't know exactly what to do or say.

( Undskyld jeg har ikke svarede i et stykke tid ..... )

The Dane had been pretty quiet in the taxi....his mind had wondered back to the plane ride.....how Norway had been acting a bit unusual from his usual self.....
His thoughts weren't interupted when the taxi stopped, or when everyone got out, but they were when Norway asked him if they should get going. Usually Sindre wouldn't be that quiet...well, yea, he was normally quiet, but as Mathias noticed for another time that day, it was a different kind of quite....if there is such a thing. He felt a bit heated when he looked down at the other country, looking into his eyes for just a split second.
"U-Um, yea...! I, um...just wanna get some ice cream first! Be right back, just go on ahead of me!" he said as he began to make his way over to the strange ice cream stand thing. Why would anyone sell ice cream when it's raining? Who knows XD

----------

Feliks stayed quiet as he worked on trying to get Toris' hair dry. It wasn't really working though. Here and there a few pieces of the paper broke off into the brown hair, and Feliks imediatly took them out. Toris would just look worse if those things were in his hair.

"I'm, like, totally fine, Toris." Feliks said with a serious expression on his face, "Besides, you'd do the same for me, right?"
Of course the Polish man knew that Toris was going to say yes, or something of the sort....but even so, he couldn't help but feel a small feeling of dissapointment that there was a chance that the answer could be no. Feliks didn't treat Toris that great sometimes...like that time he let Ivan take him. He had had pleanty of time to grab Toris back...but instead he had laughed at his face. That was in the past now, though, and since then Feliks knew he wouldn't let that happen. With a sigh, he threw the paper towel out and brushed his hands off.
"I, like, give up. It's not working, so let's, like, get back to the meeting." He held the door open for his friend before exiting the bathroom.

----------

Natalia kept quiet as she watched from her seat the scenes that were involving her dear brother. She was definetly mad, no, furious, but didn't want to show it (too bad it was showing anyways XD ) .... it looked like he was happy sitting with the chinese man...and as much as she wanted to be in his position...she couldn't help but want her brother to stay like that some more......at least for untill she got him all to herself, that is.
But that line of thought dissapeared once they left the room.....

Eyes taking on a calculating look, Arthur leveled a calm glance at the man. "You're lying," he stated, matter-of-factually. While it was rude to be as blunt as he was, he let his attitude slide in favour of being more direct. "And I am somewhat stressed, yes. But I am also somewhat drunk," he admitted, shrugging his shoulder as if it wasn't a problem that he was inebriated when it wasn't yet even eleven in the morning.

Expression softening somewhat, he sighed. "If it's all right with you, I'm going to request that Alfred come here after the meeting. I believe we need to speak with him, don't you? I just...I should sober up a bit before that..." he murmured, closing his eyes again as he felt shame sting through him.

Kiku let out a sigh and murmured softly, "Hai, I am lying, demo, haven't I been doing that for a while now?" He rose an eyebrow when Arthur admitted to being drunk. It was rare for him to hear that from the British man, but he let that slide. It was obviously due to what happened before the meeting, so it was best to not dwell on the issue at hand.

"I have some tea..." Kiku said softly, rustling through his shirt to produce a bag that was virtually dry, "This helps with hangovers. You can brew some up."

When he heard that Arthur wanted Alfred to come over after the meeting, Kiku bit his lip lightly, but nodded in agreement, "Hai...we need to talk to Alfred-san..." Kiku could get in a few hours of sleep before they would talk to the American and that gave Arthur time to sober up. Knowing that was the best they could do, Kiku said once again, "Hai...that is the best idea, Arthur-san."

*Since the person playing Liechtenstein is unable to post at the moment, I'm moving ahead with Switzerland so that the meeting can start.*

Getting off of the plane, Vash opened the umbrella and glanced over as his sister did the same, a warm look filling his eyes. He then felt the annoyance of having to go to these meetings, especially since he was neutral and couldn't really add in any plans either.

Getting into the car after Lili, he mumbled his direction and stared outside into the dreary weather. He frowned at the sight of the torrents of rain and the flashes of lightning flashing through the darkness, listening to the harsh clash of thunder. Of course, the weather just had to match his mood, he thought grimly, shaking his head bitterly. He wanted to go back home, where it was sunny and he could go to the gun range. He sighed, glaring at the rain.

When the taxi stopped, Vash carefully climbed out and opened the umbrella quickly, holding it so Lili could climb out and stay dry. Lightly taking her hand, fighting back an embarrassed blush, he lead her into the meeting room and found two seats that were relatively free of nations and sat down. He glanced at his Swiss-made watch and felt smug. The 10:59:23. He was right on time.

*I believe the meeting started at 11. Correct me if I'm wrong, though. Or... maybe it isn't even stated...*

Arthur gave a tiny, bitter smile at the Asian's words. He shook his head, sighing. "I believe we have both been lying, Kiku, to everyone around us...and ourselves, I suppose," he admitted, knowing that it was the rum that was loosening his tongue. Although, it probably helped that Kiku was a good listener.

He carefully took the bag, blinking. "Thank you. With my track record, this will come in handy." He carefully got to his feet, concentrating on not stumbling. His foot was starting to fall asleep and it, mixed with his inebriation, made it difficult to walk properly. With a stubborn willfulness, he managed to walk to the stairs without worry.

"Give me one moment. I will find you some dry clothing and move you to one of the other spare bedrooms so you'll be dry," he murmured, walking into the kitchen and setting the bag on the counter. A wave of dizziness passed through him and he bit his lip, willing his drunkenness to ease for the time being.

'Hey. Wake up, sleepy...' Roderich ruffled Gilbert's hair with one hand, setting down a bowl of chicken soup on the coffee table with the other. 'Time for food... And some medicine too if you can keep it down, eh?' He left the room briefly in order to retrieve the bread rolls -he'd only made two, just in case Gilbert wanted something more substantial- for the albino, also setting those on the coffee table. He didn't trust that the man would be able to hold the bowl, as he'd been shivering quite violently and Roderich did not want to be nursing burns as well as a 'flu. He'd not made Gilbert too much, guessing that the ex-nation wasn't in the mood for eating too much...

'I'll get you a change of clothes in a moment.'

----------

'Aw, bless you...!' Yao cooed in fondness, hugging his friend tightly for a few brief moments before letting go. 'aren't you a sweetheart, aru? Come on, let's get back to the meeting. I'm sure we're not going to be too late this time.' He chuckled lightly, reaching to take one of Ivan's hands in both of his own, leading him out of the bathroom (Yao walked backwards to do so) whilst keeping his eye contact on his friend.

He found it adorable that Ivan relied on his inability to describe as an escape route from the awkward question, and Yao felt that he'd been a bit unfair to have called out the Russian the way he did. 'I won't ask again, but I find it sweet that you think I'm pretty, Ivan. Thank you, aru.' He murmured so that only the Russian could hear him.

----------

'I-I.... Oh. Okay...' Sindre trailed off a little as he watched the other nation depart suddenly, and felt a little saddened by it. Something seemed to be a barrier between the two of them... It had appeared all of a sudden and the Norwegian didn't like it at all. He supposed their little chat later would include this... And if not, Sindre would be sure to at least hint it. He shook his head a little, before looking to the other Nordics with a saddened glance. 'We'd... best do as he says. Go on without him... I'll... Still save him a seat, mind...' He began to stride off as suddenly as his best friend had done, heading into the conference hall without another word.

'S-sorry...' He'd been so busy keeping his gaze firmly on the floor in front of him, he'd not noticed the small Asian man and had knocked into him, causing Yao to bleat a little in shock.

'I-I...' He turned on his heel, heading into the conference room without another word.

----------

'Yes... Of course I'd do the same for you.' The Lithuanian was keen to assure Poland, smiling warmly. 'Never mind, but thank you for trying, Feliks. It still means a great deal to me.' He murmured as he walked with his friend, then noticing out of the corner of his eye that Russia was just down the corridor... And with China.

He couldn't help but want to warn the Asian away from Ivan, but knew it was not his place to do so... Instead, he reached to take Poland's hand instinctively, squeezing a little. 'Let's get into the conference room quickly, Feliks... Please.' He pleaded under his voice, attempting to keep his eyes from the nation who'd caused him such great pain.

A gentle touch on his head slowly started to drag Gilbert out of his fevered sleep, causing a faint groan to escape him. He hesitated in opening his eyes, already stung by the light he knew was there. He raised his hand, instead, over his face and peeked his eyes open, shivering a bit. It wasn't as bad as it used to be, which could mean two things. Either, his fever was getting better. Or, his body was accustoming itself to the excessive heat. With a grim frown, he bet that it wasn't the former.

He moved his hand when Roderich left the room, barely hearing him. Food. And something about medicine. Neither sounded particularly agreeable to him, but both were an unfortunate necessity. Although, if there wasn't a certain brand of medicine, he knew he wasn't going to take any. He had rather...odd reactions to the majority of medicines, and had only found one that didn't particularly create an intolerable side effect. Then again, it didn't mean that it spared him from any odd side effects, either.

"Th-thanks," he murmured, the word thick on his tongue. He nearly cringed, having to thank someone he had fought with as much as he had with the Austrian.

He weakly got off of the couch and sat on the floor in front of the coffee table, somewhat surprised that he was even allowed to eat in the sitting room at all. Ludwig never allowed it. He lightly took the spoon in hand and started to spoon up the broth, avoiding everything else. He highly doubted that his body would accept anything more substantial. Through it all, he was completely silent.

Just narrowly avoiding his blush darkening when Yao quickly hugged him, he concentrated on wiping his pale cheeks completely free of the infuriating dusting of pink. He blinked when his gloved hand was lightly grabbed, leading him back toward the meeting room. The blush on his cheeks was gone, and his expression was mostly guarded again, although he still allowed the sliver of care to meet his eyes very slightly.

He smiled sweetly. "Da, is true. Is pretty," he murmured, voice also soft.

His eyes widened, unable to react in the split second it took for Norway to run into Yao.

"Вы хорошо*?" he asked softly, slipping into Russian as he gently steadied Yao. He turned his head, watching the vanishing Norwegian for a moment. "Was rude," he noted.

He tensed, suddenly, hearing Toris speaking with Poland. Keeping his gaze directed to Yao, he couldn't help but peek from the corner of his eye. Once again, he was being avoided by people he cared about.

{It appears as though I can't avoid the Cyrillic writing, anymore. So fear the Russian letters. >:3}

When the two nations beside him suddenly left, Heracles felt worry crawl in the pit of his stomach. Should he go after them..? No. The Russian knew Yao much better than he did, so it would probably be best if he were to stay here for now. Even so, that logic didn't help with his anxiety. Keeping an eye on the conference door, the Greek jumped slightly when he saw Kiku hurriedly leaving. Where was he going..?

Rising to his feet, the Mediterranean nation decided that he should follow after his friend...if there was anything upsetting the Asian man, then Heracles may be able to help. However, he paused upon seeing England leaving as well. Remembering the events of the morning, perhaps it would be better if they didn't run into each other again..besides, wasn't Kiku close to the Englishman?

Feeling slightly foolish to simply be standing there, the Greek once again sat down. Yao would hopefully be back soon..he seemed like the punctual type, and the time when the meeting should start was fast approaching.

Sure enough, Heracles could see the two figures coming through the doorway, with a little difficulty, however. The Norwegian nation, it seemed, hadn't seen Yao and had bumped into him by accident. Checking the Chinese man was ok, the Mediterranean nation smiled and waved, hoping that this conversation would be somewhat better than the previous.
