Cris lay his head on her back again his hand stroking the fur lightly his eyes on the strange pattern on her back. That was strange, usually wolves didn't have more then one color on them. Well maybe in different shades but like hers, none.

What is this Louve?

His fingers went over the pattern.

Teryn again closed his eyes but this time, he focused his energy into his blade. He drew energy from the tree and the air around him. And as he did so, his blade began to glow bright red. After a moment, he opened his eyes and swung his blade vertically until his blade crashed into the ground. This created a pillar of red energy seven feet tall and four feet wide. It tore towards Ryudo Kazamaru with amazing speed. It was a powerful attack that Teryn rarely got the pleasure of using, yet it still had tremendous speed.

Ryudo grinned as the man cut his attack in half. The immense power from the Shadow Lance had caused Teryn's attack to only slice the Lance and disapate, but Ryudo wasted no time in attacking again.

As the man stood there quietly, Ryudo stabbed Einlanzer's tip into the ground, and a powerful wave of light purple energy flew from it and rocketed towards the man in front of him. Then the man's attack cane forth, but Ryudo had prepared for this...

The wave of energy sliced through the still beginning red attack, and headed straight towards Teryn, who would still be in mid attcak.

Teryn realized that his attack would explode on contact with the other. Ryudo had no idea how powerful of an attack he had just used. So Teryn took advantage of this and rushed in around the attack and began an onslaught of attacks.

It would be harder for him to use energy blasts at such close range, and this was Teryns specialty so he had nothing to worry about. He knew that even if the man tried to do anything, he could easily doge. This man might have more powerful attacks, but he was slower then Teryn and he would use that to his advantage.

Teryn kept up his onslaught until he heard the sound of his attack meet Ryudos. And he knew that he was blocking his view of what was going on so when he jumped to the side with a smirk, Ryudo was left to deal with the blast that shot towards them while Teryn jumped out of danger.

Teryn kept up his onslaught until he heard the sound of his attack meet Ryudos. And he knew that he was blocking his view of what was going on so when he jumped to the side with a smirk, Ryudo was left to deal with the blast that shot towards them while Teryn jumped out of danger.

The red blast screamed towards Ryudo as Teryn had him pinned with close range punches and kicks. Ryudo may have looked like he was fully occupied, but he was bearly trying to fight back. If this man thought he was faster than Ryudo, he had another thing comming... However, Ryudo didn't decide to show the man how fast he was just yet. Then Teryn jumped off to the side to avoid his own massive red blast.

Ryudo was prepared for this too, since as a wonderful side ability of his race, he was able to read energy levels and sense the presence of things around him. As Teryn jumped aside, Ryudo gripped the handle of Einlanzer, which was still implanted int the ground in front of him. His fingers closed around the handle and lifted the sword out as the blade pulsed with energy just as the red blast was right on top of him.

The red hell enveloped Ryudo in a crimson hell of heat and energy. But he let out a massive battle cry and the energy from Einlanzer shot backwards from the bladed and to create a wedge of shimmering energy, psychic and dark energy mixed together to be exact, that pushed the red hell apart. The Red Hell separated and then detonated along its length, grass and chuncks of soil flying into the air, and trees catching on fire, while others were tilted at extreme angles.

The area of the forest was enveloped in a thick cloud of smoke and dust from the massive detonation, but where was...? Then, dozens of massive lances of bright lavender/blue energy shot into the sky, followed by a titanic wave of force that tossed the smoke and dust asside to reveal Ryudo Kazamaru, his eyes burning with the same lavender/blue energy as a spherical aura of the same color formed around him. He then floated about 3 feet in the air, his arms spread, legs dangling, eyes burning towards where Teryn stood. The black trenchcoat waved in the energy pouring from the aura, and Ryudo's long hair blew about his face...

Now you've gone and made me angry...

Ryudo's voice dripped with anger, rage, and spite as his eyes burned with the lavender/blue flames. This "barrier" of sorts, for lack of a better term, was only activated when Ryudo was thoroughly enraged, and it boosted all of his stats by nearly three times. If Teryn though Ryudo was bad before, he was sadly mistaken...

Teryn smiled happily up at the man. "Finally. I was getting bored holding back. You should have just started like this." he said as he slammed his blade into the ground and then stood behind it. He looked up at the sky and with a mighty cry, the sky over head darkened and a clap of thunder sounded. "Now Let's take this to the next level." he said softly as a bolt of lighting shot across the sky.

Then out of noehere, he began to glow green, then white and finally golden. His eyes emitted an orange light and he too began to float above the ground. His voice echoed as he spoke and with ever word; thunder would roll and lightning would flash across the sky.

Hethen let his right hand fall to his side and as he did so, his blade rose from the ground and into his hand. "Prepare yourself!" he said as he sheathed his blade and brought his clenched fists to his sides. He then brought them down upon the swords handle and sheath.

AS he did so, the sheath began to let off a black smoke and a hiss. And before their very eyes, the weapon changed. It grew in lengths from four and a half feet to seven. It also grew to nine inches in width near the hilt and as it went up the sword ended in five inches in width with three poins on it; one off of each side and one off the point.

"Say hello to Medurigous." he said as he set the giant blade with its one foot handle and flat hily against his right shoulder. It then began to glow hott white and when he swung it, he moved with great speed and grace. And with every movement, and small ball of the same white energy formed infront of him. He did this until there were about three hundred of the litle balls of energy infront of him.

When he was finally done, he thrust the blade through them mass of energy and they engulfed the blade with the energy. He then Chraged at the man point forwad and swun the blade mightly in a vertical slash. ANd from the blade came a ten foot long, eight foot tall pillar of white hot energy. And as it tore towards Ryudo, it disintagrated everything it cam near wheither it touched it or not.

Teryn knew that it had taken sometime for this attack so he ready himself with another energy blast just incase this didn't work. Though he highly doubted it seeing as it was practically undodgeable.

If Teryn though that Ryudo was just going to sit by idly and let him transform into some beast of a man and change his sword, then he had another thing coming. Ryudo did NOT by any means let Teryn gather the time he needed to change, and instead, moved towards the man with his hand extended...

Now if Teryn was trying to build up energy to transform, he would find it extremely difficult, if not impossible to do so. For a special psychic barrier had formed itself around Teryn within a second or two. This barrier wasn't to protect his from anything, nor keep anything in, but it did stop something, and that something, was energy.

As the energy around Teryn began to build, the psychic barrier would gently wrap itself around the particles of energy, and force them apart and away from Teryn's form. This would prevent him from being able to change at all, and it also allowed Ryudo to remain in his powered up state with little or no resistance...

He grinned wickedly as he continued forward towards Teryn, Einlanzer still in his grasp...

'It represents a scar that I have on my back, in my human form...' Louveteau shifted underneath him, moving so that she was laying on her side with her back to him. It was far more comfortable position, and easier on her back. 'Am I comfortable pillow?'

Looks like the more they talked the more they had in common, how funny to be like a stranger you only met a day or two ago. Funny how he;d become so comfrotable around her already, guess it really was the wolf in him. The she mentioned the being a pillow, Cris laughed lightly.

Sorry Louve, I'll get off or switch positions with if you wish.

'You're fine, really...' She had to admit that she enjoyed the company of another wolf, it was a change of pace at the least. 'What about you? You've told me nothing of yourself...'

His head lay back on Louve, his hands still stroked her fur and his eyes were closed once again. With his fingers he drew small circles an her before speaking opening his eyes and speaking.

No, I haven't. It something I really don't like to share but if you like I will tell you. It's only fair.

Cris eyes shut slightly as he began his small story.

You know that like you I'm a wolf. But unlike you it's not by blood or curse. The blood and cursed is inside of me. Whether it be a werewolf or wolf demon it's here, just as I'm here laying on you. And much like you I'm scarred, scarred all over, I wasn't always able to heal on my own like others do.

If she ever got to see it she'd see so many different types of scars on his body. From simple scratches to bullet wounds. Some in places one would thought him dead for.

The worst ones come from inside of course, the ones that up to this day give me nightmares, or prevent me peace. I think it's something you'd understand.

Cris noticed his rambling.

Sorry Louve I think I'm rambling, I'd hate to ruin this peaceful moment with such negative talk.

A small smile crawled to his face showing his sincerity for a moment.

'I don't mind...Your story is very interesting... as are you... When I touch your mind to speak to you like this... it is like touching chaos... it is hard to be sure I am speaking to you... because I feel so many other presences...' Louveteau fell silent as she raised her head and turned to look at him.

"Thank you Louve, though I doubt I'm very interesting your words are appreciated none the less."

A small sigh escaped Cris at the sound and fact of her words. Hell, sometimes he didn't even know who the hell he was. The feeling was fought off my quick smile and humor.

"It does get pretty tight in there at times. Not alot fo room you know."

With his index finger he tapped at his temple as he watched Louve turn to look at him and fall silent.

"Is something wrong?"

Louveteau shook her head. 'No, nothing's wrong.' As if trying to cheer up, she brought her tail up and waved it lightly in his face, tickling him.
