After what seemed like an excruciatingly long talk with the guards, Dominic was shown into the room that housed the pets and slaves. He stepped into the room, ducking his head so as to not bang it on the doorframe and looked around. As his eyes quickly adjusted to the dimness of the lighting, he saw rows and rows of cages, most of which had dirty, ragged looking creatures of all races. He waved the guards off and began walking the many rows of cages, placing his hands behind him like a drill sergeant inspecting his troops, peering into each one in turn. He examined each creature carefully before moving onto the next speciman. After looking into coutless cages he spotted a lone girl in a cage to his right. He stepped up to the cage and looked inside. He tilted his head to one side and then the other, seeing the girl from all angles. He circled the cage, appraising the girl inside. Finally, he stopped and addressed her. "My name is Dominic, son of Farain. What are you called, little one?" His deep voice boomed in the large room, even though he hadn't shouted at all, though there was a calmness, a gentleness to it.

Nyte paced her cage slowly. Bored of just sitting. She crawled over to the bars of her cage and looked out waiting to be claimed. She wanted to be owned and trained better then she was. She was willing to learn. Yet she saw no one around. She sat down up leaning up agsint the wall watching.

Keyaura sat up from laying on the cold cement floor. "Keyaura.." She said slightly shy. Her tail wrapped around her body and her ears were down slightly.

A low growl issued from Dominic's throat, rumbling across the small space between them. "Hmm..." He looked her up and down and smiled, reaching into her cage and petting her head lightly. "Do not be afraid of me, little Keyaura." he stroked her head a moment, thinking. "Answer me this, then: Are you willing to do whatever I say, when I say it?" He stood up to his full height, looking down at her.

Keyaura nodded without hesitation. She wantd out so badly. "Everything an anything." She said looking at him with her big blue eyes.

He reared his head back and laughed out loud, his deep voice booming off the walls and reverberating through the room. "That's exactly what I wanted hear, little one! And what confidence; not a hint of hesitation!" He bent down again and smiled through the bars. " I believe we're going to get along quite nicely indeed." He was still smiling as he stood up and motioned for one of the guards to open the cage. Once he had, Dominic stood at the entrance. "Now. It's time to return home, or, for you, see your new home."

The guard hannded him a packet with her information. Basicly saying that they foundh er when she was about 6, and rasied her in a foster home, till they couldn't afford her, so they gave her to slavary. And she doesn't know much english. "Some words confused her, buthe wird home got her to be depressed; although she hid it. She got up, and walked out of the cage. Nervous so her tail was creeping its way in between her legs.

Dominic took the packet from the guard with a nod. "Thanks, though I doubt I'll be needing this." He smiled as he looked back down at his new pet. He chuckled. "What happened to your nerves, little one?" Her stroked her hair and clipped a leash onto her collar. "Well, let's get going, then. Our ride should be waiting outside." He gently tugged on the leash to get her to start moving and walked her out of the building into the fresh air and sunlight to a large limosine parked on the curb. A man in a black suit opened the door for them. "After you!" Dominic said to Keyaura, as he unclipped the leash from her collar.

Keyaura was amazed at how a car could be so long. She got in and was amazed by the lights and the drinks. She had never seen anything like this. (Tell me when to meet you there)
