Zeke watched as Kevin quickly dispatched the woman he had been battling just minutes ago. Watching Kevin pull at the crowbar, Zeke only rolled his eyes.
"Great, you better hope we'll be able to get that thing out, it's only our MOST important tool."
He griped, walked over and placing his foot on the zombie's forehead.
"Okay, okay. Pull."
First attempt, fail.
"Are you even trying?"
Second attempt... Fail. Suddenly the woman flung her hands on Zeke's leg, attempting to bite at his foot. He was able to escape, muttering many curses while backing up.
"Jesus ******** Christ! She's like ********' Arnold Schwartzazombie! I dunno about you, Kev, but I see very little crushed heads. I think she could get you fired."
He said, laughing. In times like these, you need to have a mind set to find things entertaining, after all, the only real entertainment nowadays lies in the dangers themselves.
"I vote we restrain her and get the crowbar out. I'm actually starting to like this zombie. Nice breasts, too... Ya know, for a middle aged chick."
He chuckled. He didn't know if Kevin would keep the same enthusiasm about the zombie but it didn't matter. It'd be fun just letting one go because of how stubborn it was. They had some rope, they could just tie her up and leave her there, others who come near here may find her as a sort of monument. Zeke grinned at the idea.

"Oh shut up, it's not like it's my fault her chin swallows crowbars" Kevin joked as Zeke came over to help. Kevin was quiet during the first attempt at removing the crowbar and Zeke's comments but after the second attempt and the sudden revival of the zombie again. Kevin jumped back and started to laugh. "I sure ain't tryin' but this b***h is" Making sure to stay out of the zombie's range he listened to what Zeke had to say, ignoring the joke about getting him fired whle he continued to laugh he abruptly stopped when Zeke brought up the zombie's appearance. "Heh, yeah and she was just starting to warm up to you, maybe you can lose your virginity this time" Kevin joked himself while bringing up a past close encounter with another female zombie once before that had attacked Zeke. "But if she get's loose and stalks us, I'm ditching you dude" Kevin went on - slowly edging for the truck to get the rope.

Zeke laughed.
"Naw, I lost that the night I met your sister."
He shot back. He listened to Kevin's cautious approval and watched as he went to fetch the rope. The woman was lingering forward towards Zeke, no real issue. As mentioned they may be hella hard to kill but they're hella easy to evade. When Kevin was ready, Zeke ran around the zombie behind her and held he hand opened.
"Toss me the other side."
Kevin did but was off a few inches with the throw and the rope hit the ground. Zeke bent down and grapped it.
"Fetch her arms then we'llpull them down to her waist. We should be able to just run around her then."
He explained the mission plan. This is the most fun he'd had with a zombie since those naked strippers Kevin and him played darts with. Carefully the partners lifted the rope at about a shoulder's height and quickly let it rest on the woman's outstretched arms.
"Okay... When I say, pull down then start running around her... Just don't run into me."
When the go ahead was given the pulled down, forcing her arms to her waist then began to loop around her. They have banter to each other like frat boys but when it comes to teamwork they definately were meant to be partners. After four loops her arms were successfully plastered to her sides. She groaned uncomfortably.
"Heheh! Lets tie her up to the gas prices pole."
They tied the rope carefully to her, making sure to keep out of reach of her mouth then pulled her back to where the pole was and wrapped the roped around many times then began to tie it. When all was said and done they were by the truck, looking at the zombie like she was on the leash, but then Zeke remembered something.
"Oh s**t! We need to get the crowbar out of her neck. I'll hold her by the hair and I'll yank the b*****d out."
Minutes later Zeke stood panting with the bloody crowbar, the zombie managed to survive the operation and now they had a pet.
"Okay.... You think of a name... I'm going to go fill up that gas. Get more stuff.. From the store."
With that Zeke lumbered off, remembering to grab the empty gas tank.

Allen smiled backed."Good now lets get the ******** out of here" He turned to Ryu grab what you can and lets get out of here" and turned towards the direction of the store and started walking "home"

"Wait I had a brother not a sister, you sick ********> Kevin retorted as he got the rope from the truck, it was easy enough to find sitting next to a few empty cans of Budweiser. As ordered Kevin tossed one end of the rope to Zeke. "Hey this rope is almost as limp as your third-leg" Kevin went on again with more of the comedic-bashing knowing Zeke had a response somewhere in his head. As usual there teamwork skills were perfectly synchronized and they easily had the zombie restrained and tied to the pole for gass prices.

Kevin had just watched the area while Zeke went for the crowbar, his grunting and the sounds of his struggling for the few minutes that it took to get the crowbar sounded like a stag dying a slow death. "Name her huh? well how about a porn star name, we could even put up a sign saying 'free ho' get her while she's dead'" Kevin spoke as he watched Zeke head off to get the gas. "Oooh, time to raid the fridges" Rubbing his hands together Kevin made his way into the store immediately heading down the first of the aisles looking for food - the first of which he found in a box of Crunch chocolate bars.

Maryse reached into the back seat and picked up the M4 from the floor. She picked up the clip and put it back into the gun, then sat down again, the M4 by her side. She took the Beretta out of her holster and checked it, making sure the gun was loaded and the safety was off, then holstered it again.

She wasn't hoping for hostility, but it wouldn't hurt to be prepared.

Maryse stared straight ahead, unwilling to take her eyes off of the wall in front of them, as if doing so would cause it to disappear, to flicker and fade away, like a mirage. Finally, she managed to look over at Richie, who had a look of apprehension on his face. She imagined she did, too. For some reason, she wanted to reassure him. She reached out to touch him, then thought better of it. Instead, she asked him a question: "What do you intend to do once we're inside?"

She asked it as light-heartedly as she could, but she immediately regretted breaking the silence. She enjoyed silence. Conversation made her uncomfortable.

There were two things going through his head as he filled up the gas canister, one was the excitement of having captured a zombie and went so far as to make it a leash. The next was a comeback to Kevin's jokes. His excitement about the zombie clouded over his witty replies, he knew it was too late to strike back but should a similar joke be thrown at him he needed a good reply. In the end he sighed.
"I'm not limp..."
He paused and grew concious of his body.
"Well... Not very, anyways."
He grumbled.
"I should tell him to stop looking at my crotch. Damn queen."
Finally he finished, coming back up with a full tank in his hand. It was heavy but he had enough strength to move comfortably enough with it in his grip. He put the tank into the back of the 4x4 then leaned against it. Licking his lips he decided to take out one of the energy drinks and take a big gulp. The strong taste and carbonization made cough, it wasn't water but at least it was some kind of liquid going into his mouth, not really quenching the thirst, though.
"What are you doing? Pleasing yourself in there!?"
He shouted towards the shop. In addition to his yell the zombie pet gave a loud groan.
"You too, huh? He's impatient but when he gets near food the guy just wont let up."
He chuckled, taking another sip.

There had been plenty of food in the store, sure the majority of it was branded crap but getting that aside it was at least something to keep them from starving, and the less meaty food they carried the less attracted zombies would be to them. After filling up enough bags to feat an all day buffet for the greedy, Kevin made his way toward the exit and Zeke's response could be heard in echoes. "Oh definitely, I'm very pleased - haha" Kevin responded as he made his way across to the truck. Placing all the bags he had brought out into the truck. "So what are you going to do with the zombie - if it involves sex, I'll save it the nightmares and kill it now" Kevin joked again, the easiest way to Zeke had always been conversations about jokes, he usually screwed up with his comebacks or spent way to much time reflecting on the joke where it became stupid.

Ryu grinned. " Yeah one more survivor to our rag tag group" he looked for Wolfie but could'nt see her. " has anyone seen Wolfie. I don't see her anywhere" "She can find her way home. and she's a tough chick" Allen replied " and when we get home i'm gonna teach you how to shoot straight". Ryu looked kind of embarassed but he just nodded

Zeke let out a chuckle.
"Well... I was hoping we'd do dinner and a movie first. She's very selective on food, though... Think ya can fill in and join us for dinner?"
He let out another stupid chuckle as he made his way towards the bike.
"Alright, chubby. I don't know this city so I'm just gonna ride. Maybe we'll find something interesting."
As he was about to mount, he paused and dismounted again, walking towards the back of the truck. Digging through some crap he finally produced a new radio, turning it to their usual frequency, 1.1. They use this crap frequency because everyone does, something is bound to come in one day. It's been at least a week since they've last seen survivors, no females though. Just two very robust men, Kevin hinted that they were gay, Zeke agreed. He remembered specifically telling Kevin "Give me a few weeks without seeing a woman and YOU'LL start to look pretty".

Back on the road. A few times the two had to stop and turn around due to the pile ups of cars. Zeke didn't know where to stop, now. He anxiously waited for Kevin to make a decision for once. Zeke may be in front but he was getting tired, and the constant vibration of the cycle between his nuts was starting to get uncomfortable.
"Hey, Kev. Maybe we should bunker down for a few."
He spoke after he readied the radio. He slowed slightly, the road ahead of should have a sign ready 4WD only. Gaps and pieces of building was everywhere. It looked like there had been a fire in the building to their right, Zeke was amazed that the fire didn't spread, who had put it out?

"That all depends," Richie said, "if there are zombies running all over the place inside, we're getting the **** out of there, and we'll head for the coast. If they're hostile, I don't think we'll have much of a chance to do anything. If they're friendly, like those soldier guys said, then we'll get out of the car slowly when it runs out of gas. Leave the weapons in the car, and follow their instructions. We'll probably be put in isolation for a couple days to see if we're infected. That's after the full body search that is. That's assuming these guys know what they're doing, which I can assume they do because there isn't fire behind the wall. But still, you can never be too safe. Hand me a gun, just in case I need one. Hopefully we won't, but like I said, you never know."

Greg and the soldiers had been left by the strange bunch of SAS and GTA soldiers with nothing but incoherient babbling rnging in their ears. It didn't matter really, they hadn't seemed to object to Greg and his new comrades becoming members of the GTA's force, so they took it as an okay to enter the complex. Just as they where loading up to drive into the GTA however, Greg caught a glimpse of his old road trip buddies on the horizon. Driving in a slightly battered old 4x4, he clearly saw Richie and Maryse coming towards the GTA gates, Greg smiled, hopping out of the military truck and waving manically at the vehicle with two hands in the air. It was nice to see some familiar faces who he knew where genuinely sane, as a pose to strange incounter he'd had earlier with the GTA troops.

Maryse sighed. She'd been trying to lighten the mood, but Richie had effectively killed it. "A full body search," she repeated, her tone flat, "Wonderful."

As they drew ever closer to the wall, Maryse saw thousands of corpses lying on the ground around it. She was worried, but only for a moment. Then she remembered that there were thousands of living, breathing human beings behind that wall. Thousands of potential victims.

Zombies are nomadic. They have no regard for territory and no concept of home. They will travel miles and perhaps, given time, cross continents in their search for food. Their hunting pattern is random. Some will search buildings and other structures while others in the same group will move on without even a glance. One thing is certain, however, and that is that they all possess an uncanny ability to home in on a potential victim's precise location. Once contact is made, they cannot be distracted by any means. They will continue to pursue their prey until they lose contact, make a successful kill, or are destroyed.

The sight was simultaneously comforting and unsettling. It was comforting because it meant that there were well-trained, well-armed military personnel manning the wall and keeping the zombies from getting in. It was unsettling because it meant that they still weren't safe. That they'd never be safe. Only safer.

They drove on, and the convoy they'd run into earlier came into view. Greg was with them, waving his hands wildly in the air. He must have spotted them.
