ya there are still slots available for kitsunes but one just need to have a specific base for it via past and such to follow the lore I created for them

1. all kitsunes are from the tree of kitsunes(if they are not then they or their family line was banished from the tree thus making them outcasts and they wont be treated well(if not from tree one must add to bio why)
2. to have a nine tail you need to have a good bio explaining how obtained(if not other tails goodbut still exlain ho they obtained it)
3. there is no royalty
4. kitsunes have a natural hatred for Werewolves

Does this tree hold any magical properties?

yes according lore the tree was a gift from their ancestors to protect all kitsunes so it does have some magic properties via its ability to shut its territory off by a barrier stopping intruders but other than that the trees magical properties are mostly unknown but it gives off the feeling of strong magic

So, if I want a kitsune clan which was banished from the tree because they were too cocky and attempted to overthrown the leader. Would that be good?

Why they felt so comfortable was because the tree granted them the power to posses other people (Ninko kitsunes)
but the leader was strong enough to possess kitsunes.
This obviously was a no go, but things went too far when the leader tried to posses the leader of the tree. Who eventually banished them after defeating them.
Outside from the tree they lost their powers as the clan and had to survive on the wastelands.
