Onyx awoke, feeling refreshed and himself again. He had no idea of goings on. He did know however, that he was a dragon knight, and that Topaz was sitting next to him, but now she was... gone?

He did a double take, before leaping up.

Oh, Topaz, where'd you go!

.: She went to help Jager fight someone. :.
.: Oh! You startled me. :. There was a dragon sitting on a branch above him.

.: Are you back to normal? :. She had a restrictive air abour her. As though she couldn't decide to trust him or not.

.: You can come down. :.
.: I know. :.

A gold eye glared down at him.

.: Are you back to normal? :. She asked again.
.: I think so... :.
.: Good. :.
She alighted down to the ground next to him.

.: Are you coming? :. She turned her back on him and began to plod into the forest.
.:What?:.
.: To find Topaz. :.
.: Yes, I... how'd you know I've got to find her?:.
.: I know everything about what you think. I don't normally listen though. DOn't worry. Your thought are safe with me. Come on. :. she urged.

They took off running through the forest.

"Ahhhh!"

Topaz fell through the underbrush of the trees and landed right in front of Onyx. She was up before anything else happened.

"Oh Gods! Topaz, are you ok?"

"Yes, I'm fine. I see you're back to normal."

"Yes... I..."

.: Apologize! :. Mithril gave him a forcibly strong look.

"I'm sorry... for what ever I did... I mean, what I might have... I'm sorry."

"It's okay." she laughed. It was gentle and flowery, like a beautiful song.

"Yeah..." Onyx blushed slightly.

"What's wrong with you? You seem reluctant."

"Oh, I'm fine." Then he remembered why he had gone searching for her. "Are you okay? Are you hurt? Did he injure... Topaz! You're bleeding!" He pointed at a scrape on her cheek.

"Huh? Oh, this. No, I'm fine, its just a scratch." In truth, there was a large amount of dried blood caked around it, but it wasn't the worst she had ever gotten.

"No its not! How'd that happen? No one took... ah... advantage..."

"No! When you ofered to be my guard, I never thought you meant that you would never let me get a moment's peace without having to think about it!"

"Oh. I'm sorry, its just..."

"I'm fine. Leave it at that."

"Yes. Okay. I understand."

"Good. So. Shall we get get going?"

"Yes. Um... Where are we going?"

"Away from here."

"Right." And they set off.

((im sorry I havent been here for so long)) Jade stared into the empty feild, it seemed all the people she had met were goon she suddently felt alone but then realized looking over to Luka she was never alone. Jade sighed standing up, there were still some apples on a tree, she picked some and sat on the ground and started to eat some then gave a few to Luka hopeing she had the money to get some meat for Luka, she would glably stave for Luka. Jade also hoped Luka would be getting to the age soon were she could fly and hunt for them both, to her supprize Luka would be the size of herself soon, she now longer perched on her sholder but walked beside her.

Fire watched the demon carefully. She would have walked away, the time the two had spent without Life around had calmed her. She no longer had the lust for blood whenever she saw someone new, no longer wanted to kill something to get her point across.
"Run." She hissed turning briefly to Tharazzi and Neo, she no longer wanted to fight, that was unnearving.
We shall be waiting along the path. Tharazzi nodded, grabbing Neo's leg to force him along.
"But..."
Fire can look after herself. Tharazzi sniffed, cutting Neo off before he could say anything. Again forced to enter his mind and descover how alien he was.

After a series of blows to the demon Fire managed to get it to the floor. She pushed the point of her spear into the back of its neck and rested one of her feet on its back.
"Why are you here?" She hissed creating another ball of fire in her hand while she waited for an answer. The demon said nothing so she repeated her question, still nothing. After a third time she gave up and plunged the spear into the demon's neck killing it instantly. Then she ran after the others silently.
Tharazzi merely nodded as he saw the half-panther appear.
"What happened?" Neo asked though there was no reply so he fell silent.

Emelin and Siencyn sat there for what seemed like hours.

-I'm pretty bored Sien...-
Siencyn looked up at Emelin and grinned. -Would you like to go for a ride?-He grew twice his size again, a suitable size for Emelin to sit upon his back comfortably.
-Since you offered...- she grinned brightly and scurried up from against the tree.
-Where to?-
-I don't know... just to get some air and I need to stretch my wings better anyway.- She hopped upon his back and sat there quite contently. She stroked the silvery-blue fur that lined his back and neck.
-Alright, hold on then.-
She grabbed his fur and held on as she felt the powerful muscles in his shoulders propel them upwards and over the tree tops. The sun shone brightly and there were only a few clouds. Siencyn's deep blue scales glimmered iridescently in the bright sun. He hovered in mid air for a few moments, as if he was deciding his next destination.

Jade got up and tolk out some of her money, there wasnt enough to buy meat for her or Luka. Jade sighed putting it away and looking over to Luka sleeping on the ground sleeping peacefully injoying the coolness of the night, Jade smiled and walked over to her and layed down next to her. Jade could hear both there stomches wanting food but she didnt have the money to get any, they would have to go humnting or do somthing to get food.

Siencyn beat his wings to stay airborne and in one place. His silvery eyes scanned the treetops and was decideing which direction to go in. He felt more inclined to go forward. He turned his head and looked to Emelin.

Emelin tightened her grip on his fur, but not so much as to hurt him. She also scanned the treetops and grinned towards the mighty dragon she was upon.
-Hold on then.-

With one quick movement, they moved forward. Siencyn's great wings beat until he was going a good enough speed he could glide for short moments.
Emelin smiled as the wind rushed in her face and the trees below also rushed past.
-I don't know where I'm going too. Just where ever the wind takes me.-
-So where are... wait... how did you know I was going to ask that?-
-I can read your thoughts love. There are very few things I know about you now.-
-Well now I feel secure...- She looked down and quickly looked back, because she felt her self slip slightly.
-Don't worry. I will be the only one from yourself that will know all of your thoughts and memories.- He tilted himself slightly to the right, helping Emelin get straight on his back.

Jade slept silently next to Luka, Luka then woke up and looked at Jade and grined slightly then gently laying her head on Jades sholder and looked up into the sky seeing a drgon not really sure which dragon it was she lifted her head and whined slightly and looked up into the sky.

Vi started walking along the forest path, when she saw something dart in the woods. She started to get worry about it what could be lurking around in the forest, and distant battle sounds from far away wen't very assuring either.

Vi began to run back to the town, but just when she had gotten to the edge of the town she heard the voice again, this time very clear, and almost singing a song.

-=Come and catch me if you can, Seek and maybe find me! For whether your ready or not, here I come=-
Vi looked back to the forest and saw the same something from before dart again. -=come find me.=-

A smile crept up on Vi's face as an idea dawned upon her. She began to sneak up to the tree that the darting shadow last disapeared to. While aproaching the tree, Vi couldnt help but notice how strangly the tree grew up. The trunk itself was a mass of knots and swirls that was at least as wide as 6 feet around. There were little holes in the trunk that were about the size to house a small family of birds. the branches grew in a way that seemed to be hugging the trunk and all the branches were bare.

Finally Vi approached the odd tree and peeked around it....nothing was there. She sat down and was stuned for a minute. She was so sure that her dragon...if she had one, would be behind this tree. Then Kit jumped out of her pocket and tried to start climbing the tree. Vi turned around on the oposite side of the tree that she had looked before to retrieve her and almost ran into the face of a pale blue scales and gray eyes.

Vi fell back a bit and landed in the same place she was sitting momments before.

The dragon had a smug smile on his face and came around to sit in front of Vi. Sitting attop his tail was Kit. :meow: The dragon looked over to her and swung his tail around as to hand the kitten back to Vi.
-=Hello Vi, I'm your dragon, Riordan=-

Siencyn straightened himself after Emelin was back on and continued to fly forward. He suddenly swerved to the right and went that way. The trees started to get more scarse and they came over the sea.

Emelin breathed in the sea air and closed her eyes. Just as she opened them, Siencyn dived. He came to the water and was skidding the sea, dipping in his claw. His wings grazed the top whenever he beat his wings to stay aflight.

Emelin looked over his shoulder into the sea-green water they were over. She reached her hand down and touched the cool water. She brought her hand up and a stand of water followed.

Luka got up makeing sure not to wake up Jade and walked over to a tree, useing her sharp long claws she dug them int the tree climbing it with her front and back feet will she reached one of the top branches, she looked down at the ground and huffed a a breath. Luka wanted to try flying, she tolk a deep breath and jumped off the tree at first without even nowing what to do she dived to the ground but at the last second she spred her wings and rose into the air takeing hard noisy wing beats to the opposite tree.

Vi smiled. "Aww Kit, You knew he was there the whole time huh?"
She took Kit from Riordan's tail and stuffed her back into her pocket. Now Vi stood up from the place that she had fell over from and looked at her new dragon.

"Riordan...wow." She went up to approach him and scratched him behind the horns protruding from his head.
"You're geogeous..." Riordan smiled a bit, showing off his gold and diamond fangs and then flew up to Vi's shoulder.
When the dragon landed, she felt a strong surge of energy surge through her body and a blinding light enveloped her for a moment. When it was over, she looked at Riordan.

-=Vi, I am the dragon of Trace, making you the Knight of Trace. I feel that I should let you know now instead of finding out later that as part of being a Dragon Knight, your powers of Sorcerry will no longer be able to be practiced. You must now focus all your energies on training in being a Dragon Knight.=-

Then his voice went from formal to sorrow.

-=I'm sorry, I already know how much sorcerry has meant to you and to your family line.=-

Riordan jumped off of Vi's shoulder and landed gracefully to the ground. As Vi slumped to the ground for a third time that day, Riordan bowed his head. A million thoughts flooded through Vi's head all at once, the day her father left, her mothers explination, the gifts-the robes-that her mother had given her, the lessons and family time practicing had brought, mother's death, a journey to develop, it all seemed to shout resoundingly in her ears.

And then suddenly, it didn't seem to bother her. She had her past, and memories are good as anything. Sudden confidence in herself and her current task filled her heart. Vi got up again and looked to Riordan.
"I'm ready...show me the way!" She smiled and took Kit out of her pocket and placed her on Riordan's back then giggled a bit..."She's just the right size you know..."

Riordan scoffed and then suddenly grew to be twice as big as he was before.
-=Now you're just the right size and she's just a bit too small...hop on...and hold on to her!=-

Jade looked up as Luka flew there flapping her wings a couple times a minute to stay up Jade gasped faling backwords
.:"How?!":.
Luka laughed slightly in her mind .:"I have learned how to fly is that bad?":.
.:"of corse not! I just didnt now you could yet":.
Jade looked at her and saw how she was growing very fast now she was the size of herself and with practice she could ride her soon.
