It was Angela. Might have been easier to tell if the image worked. sweatdrop Even so, it was stated in the last post that she had arrived. Idk. Maybe I'll take more care to clarify.

Not at the moment, I've been working on bringing back an old character I started. A change here and there and such. I guess the only character available is Kyubey.

That sounds interesting. Do you have a profile set up or are you still brainstorming at this point? Also, you know you can post in other places at the same time you're posting in the Nurse's Office, right? It's one of the places where your character can be there and somewhere else at the same time.
I do have a profile, yeah. Just wanted to Know if there are some things I should Keep in mind while porting her over to This RP.
Really? I wasn't aware. That helps a lot Though! c:
Sure thing!
As for your character, if you're porting her to a Machinist I'd say just remember that Machinists have a very human-centric xenophobic attitude and dislike or at the very least distrust anything human. Those that are involved in combat keep themselves in peak physical condition since they need every advantage they can get. Also, their strength comes from their augments, their teamwork and their discipline. Without all three, they're just prey for their enemies.
Mhm mhm. False memories is an easy fix for all that xenophobia--if I can't think of something more original. I'll go ahead and take away her ability to resonate, but could I get just a little more info on what an augmentation is? I understand that they make a machinist match up well with a particular type of non-human or meister, but is it very open beside that? Are they categories or is it enough to simply say you are augmented against witches or whatever?
I want Angela (that's her name) to be all robot but the brain that was saved, so the fitness shouldn't be too much of a problem. whee
And for the bio, I was thinking of where to set her faction-wise. If it's not too much trouble, could I get a TLDR of whatever implications the "Webs" mission has had for the factions--if it even happened on this timeline. I'm sorry. I normally keep better track of these things. sweatdrop
Edit: We're going former meister or weapon, haven't decided which, who was either blasted to bits and re-programmed or a revival as a sort of peace-offering by the machinists for Shibusen. The latter begs a mission, if you're up to it--probably with Meggs and Oreo (which will be much more streamline than the first attempt, don't worry. lol).
Well, the augmentations were retconned a little when they turned out to be too confining. Augmentations are bio/mechanical augmentations to the body that increase combat effectiveness. These augments can be general and non-specific to fighting a certain kind of opponent or they can be specified against witches, Weapons/Meisters, Demons or Kitsunes. As for what their abilities are and how they manifest themselves, that's up to you. It can be anything reasonable and of course has to be approved. You can look at some of the profiles in the Arc Characters section for examples. Augments that are geared towards fighting a certain opponent are useless against others but devastating against that opponent.
As for the Webs mission, I'll try to sum it up.
- The group that Mirai helped will become the Chevalier faction in the future. Formerly arrogant and one of the more xenophobic factions, the actions of the DWMA team have potentially opened the eyes of the Machinist Officers while at the same time eliminating the corruption in their leadership. This creates the possibility that this faction will become one that is more friendly and welcoming towards non-humans in the future. This would be valuable as this faction was one of the strongest and most advanced of the factions.
-On the mission Despair encountered one of the Machinist Royal Guards, the most highly trained, augmented and elite group of warriors within The Machinist Order. Despite their title, they are often sent away from the mobile headquarters on highly sensitive and classified missions. It is apparent that at least some of the Royal Guard have survived and are aware of the fall of The Machinist Order. They seem to be carrying out some kind of mysterious mission, most likely a contingency plan for just this kind of event. What is or its end goal is still unknown
- In the ruins of the mobile headquarters the DWMA team encountered the quickly-forming Wehrmacht who seemed to be led by a man named Todd, a psychopathic killer and deviant whom Mirai thought she had killed back during their original invasion of the headquarters. He seems to be gathering a growing force of like-minded individuals around him and has himself seems to have undergone intense augmentation to bring his strength and combat abilities to extreme levels. In addition, the forming Wehrmacht is currently in control of the ruins of the mobile headquarters, having been situated the furthest away from the explosion that destroyed it and thus having the most survivors. This creates the very real and very dangerous possibility that the Wehrmacht will uncover highly powerful and/or unstable experimental technology within the ruins which if used could have devastating consequences. Most alarming of all, during the mission some mysterious power or force came to the aid of The Wehrmacht showing the ability to resurrect both corpses and ruined machinery to semi-alive states, vastly improving their strength and durability in the process as well as giving them access to some kind of fell energy that is harmful to others. What this power is and who or what controls it are still a complete mystery.
The other two factions didn't appear during the mission and their whereabouts/status are still unknown
One problem with your idea though: no Machinist Faction as of yet would do anything to help Shibusen and don't desire peace with him at all for the time being.
I see I see. Thanks for the lowdown. c:
That's not so much of a problem as it just scoots me in the right direction.

Okay, so Soul Thread Sutures is where a character manipulates their own wavelength within an enemy to stitch them to a surface, right? (rhetorical) The question is whether or not it would be feasible for an ability that utilizes the same principles to form wires instead of stitches? To give a more detailed explanation, picture this:
What the attack looks like: A character hits an enemy with a modified version of soul menace (something like an aura in the palm of the hand) that shoots outward just before impact to attack the soul. What it does: Upon damaging the soul, this attack creates a series of Soul Thread Wires that attach to the enemy and float in the air around them for a brief moment (the enemies post and the attackers next post) before they vanish. They appear as loops with both ends disappearing inside of the opponents body. These threads are tangible and can be grabbed, but are resilient enough to resist being cut. These loops of thread extend outward 3 feet.
Why is this useful? Since the threads can be grabbed, the attacker (if successful) would be able to grab these threads and pull them into an oncoming attack, or use the threads as a way to throw the opponent. Offsetting enemy attacks (physical attacks) would be a nice bonus.
Anyways, does this sound feasible? If so, what could be some limitations and drawbacks for it?

I gots a question on character creation, for any member of the crew who may happen to be looking:
If I were to create a character who has a small animal companion (such as a dog or a bear or something) that has ties with the character's abilities, would I need to create a separate character for the animal in order to have it transform into a weapon? Or can that be a part of the characters profile as an ability?

--------- Sounds like a cool ability to me I could see normal attacks not being able to cut the thread but soul based techniques should be able to.(resonance, enhanced slashes etc.) Also a lot of the stronger beings in the guild would have more physical strength and control of thier souls. Nothing is stopping them from grabbing the threads and tossing your character around some. Not to mention without the ability to match soul wavelengths using the threads could severely harm your characters soul as well as your opponents
