Kyoto Arcade

[C h o t t o C h o c o]

"Lets go meet up with bookstore and Yue-san for dinner. They were headed to a library of some sort, right?" Asuna asked, stretching a little, and letting out a big yawn. "Let's just ask the receptionist if there's any libraries around here, and just go get them and eat." Asuna said. Hopefully, Konoka would be back in time for dinner, but the chance of that was too low. At the least, Konoka would be back by tomorrow morning.

"Sounds good to me, Asuna-san." Mizuki said nodding in agreement. Still worried for Konoka though, Mizuki was hungry as well. If the two could meet up with their other friends, perhaps she would lighten up a bit about the situation.

Asuna grinned, but stretched, no intention of racing back to the hotel. She was far too tired, especially from staying up all night. "We'll decide where to eat when we get back to the hotel...my budget's not too big..." Asuna yawned, walking towards the exit. Pushing open on the handle of the door, it was cloudy outside, and a little cool. Holding the door open for Mizuki, Asuna let the door close with a quiet 'thump' before walking off to the hotel.

"Hai, that sounds good." Mizuki agreed with a nod of her head. She headed out of the arcade and looked outside. "Such an ominous feel..." She said quietly as she continued on her way to the hotel with Asuna.  

[Lip-Desu]

Regan and Cirus step into the Arcade, looking around with soft smiles. "So, what shall we play first, Cirus?" She starts into the arcade, looking at the various machines and consoles. Oh, wow, Micromachine Racers, all sorts of stuff. Metal Slug...

"Hmm, I dunno. You pick." Crus shrugs his shoulders, looking over the games, himself. With Regan's budget, they could surely afford it, but... eh. He'd rather play a good console RPG or a space sim or something.

Asakura, Ken, and Mana enter the arcade, as well. The two gunmen would, as it only seems fitting, go to one of the light gun games.

[Xenon enters with Regan and Cirus]

Xenon simply remained silent as they entered. Almost all of these games she'd played in some way, shape or form at some point - and quite a few of them she could quite literally finish with one credit and her eyes closed. For now, she didn't say anything, just smiling, in her neutral-happy mode, not feeling the need to comment or ask any questions.  

[Lip-Desu]

Regan picks out an over-head view racing game and turns to Cirus and Xenon. Cirus takes up the position at player two and Regan turns to Xenon. "Hey, c'mon, Xenon-san. You're here, play with us~!" She grins at the android, motioning to the third player spot.

Xenon looks a little surprised at Regan's suggestion. After all, she hadn't expected to actually be asked to join in the game. She was just a robot, and besides, she didn't even have any money. She followed them over - still being limited by the length of her cable, and not wanting to cause an obstruction with it - but simply shook her head and smiled. "I don't have any money, Regan-san." She said, not sounding at all troubled by it. "But please, feel free to play without me."  

[Lip-Desu]

"Don't worry about money. The cost of an arcade is inconsequential to me." Regan waves it off and drops in enough coins to pay for all three of them. Regan and Cirus hit start and wait for Xenon. "Join usss~" She nudges Cirus, who nudges Xenon in turn.

"What's the harm in it, Xenon-san? Join us, it'll be fun." =3  

[Urd Tanzanite]

Kazumi wandered around, snapping pictures of students playing games. Occasionally, one would oblige her by making her win or loss a drama production.

There was not much else for her to do... Kazumi paused. And turned her head to look at the arcade game she had just passed. Fatal Frame?! She patted her vest pockets for some yen and looked around for the token dispenser. Half a minute later, she was happily snapping pictures of horror.


Ken and Mana had quickly moved on to Contra. This side-scroller and occasional 3-D game was the best in Ken's opinion. In record time, both had equipped their characters with various power-ups and were dealing hot laser death to the countless aliens.

Xenon frowned a little, but shook her head and smiled. "Regan-san, I couldn't possibly accept your money. It's yours," She insists, taking a step away from them; although she obviously can't move too far away, still being very much limited by the length of the cable from her ear. "I wouldn't want to deprive you of any of your money, no matter how proportionately small it could be to you."  

[Lip-Desu]

"No, Xenon-san, you're playing." Regan states firmly, not taking a bit of what Xenon says. "It'd make me happy~" She chimes, smiling at the android and waiting for her to take the controls and enter the game with them.

Kaito walked along with Akari as the two made their way to the Arcade, he hadn't played in very many. Once in a great while he might be in a city with a good one and he would look around, he usually played the gun games since he had experience with them. As they arrived he looked around spotting several students from their class in the crowds "looks like were not the only ones here" he said to Akari.

Akari saw the other students and her grip on Kaito's hand loosened, debating on whether or not to let go. She had to keep reminding herself that it was okay that people knew. Still, the thought of Akari playing the part as girlfriend was still strange and new to her. "Seems like it..." She lead Kaito away from the others, so the two could play a game together and they could talk in private. Of course she wouldn't mind talking to them at all, but she assumed that Kaito had something to talk about.

The two were over by a game and she holds onto his hand and raises an eyebrow at him, contemplating. "Is everything okay?" She asked, thinking that Kaito had something on his mind. Breakfast had been more than uncomfortable, and she wanted to make sure he was alright. If the discussion got to intense, she might have to take it elsewhere or decide screw it and walk off on him.

(*whistles innocently* Sorry Angel! I hope you don't mind me backpacking your post, but I've told you that I'm having problems posting ^.^'')

While Akari stood there, holding onto Kaito's hand a small black smoke started to form at her neck, but only for a few seconds, when the smoke disappeared, so did the bite mark.

Akari had just finished asking if everything was okay when she felt...felt something! It was almost the feeling of something you couldn't actually feel, like when your foot is asleep and you run something across it lightly. When the smoke disappeared she slapped her hand over the bite mark and gave Kaito a strange look, unable to look at the bite mark herself. "My mark feels funny." She says almost randomly, not having seen the black smoke really.

"It'd make you... happy?" Xenon paused for a moment, assessing the situation. One of her highest priorities was to make humans happy - after all, she was a gaming console; what else would they be used for? On the other hand, there was the fact that it was Regan's money, and she didn't want her to 'waste' any of her money for her own benefit.

Fortunately (or at least, it could be considered fortunate) for Xenon, she didn't have to worry about this for much longer. Because exactly 1.45276 seconds after she started processing this information, Xenon was no longer Xenon. Not entirely, at least. Her eyes sort of glazed over as she stared into Regan's, appearing to stare through her rather than at her. She spoke slowly and quietly, not blinking even once as she tilted her head slightly. "...It hurts, Regan..."
