Rikki glared at Mimi as she read her note. "For your information, I'm thoroughly pissed that you brought humans into our territory. But luckily, there's no one here to protect you." she said with a low growl as she prepared to pounce. Renji held Kimi even closer when he heard Vero and he was getting ready to run before Kimi crawled out of his arms. Kimi ran out and stood in front of Mimi, though he balance swayed for she was too weak. "Don't hurt her! You really want to kill us humans so go ahead." she said with a fierceness in her eyes. Renji growled in frustration and sighed as he got up, standing by his littler sister's side.

Mimi blinked in surprise, although she was mute, she could have still protected Kimi and Renji. However, cats did eat fish but why was she even doubting herself? "No don't kill them! I led them here so you should blame the Sakana," she wrote on her notepad before holding it up for them to see. Perhaps, the leader wouldn't be that angry when she found out about this incident.
Vero held a hand up to stop Rikki and sighed. "As much as we would love too. Killing kittens is nothing more than barbaric." Sure he did hate kittens of any race since there was no challenge with something so weak and very emotional. "Don't invade our territory again," he hissed before throwing a black ball of fire at the notepad and burning it. "Come on Rikki let's leave these stains."

Rikki continued to glare at them until she heard Vero. She opened her mouth to object and to argue but she soon realized there was no point. He was the leader and he had the final say. She hissed and turned back to the humans. "Don't get too comfortable on this island. It's only a matter of time before everyone wants you dead." she said before she turned to follow Vero. Her claws were still out and her vision was blinded by her rage. She was walking ahead of Vero as she tried to calm herself down. "I can't believe you! Why did you just let them go like that?! We should've killed them! What were you thinking?!" she shouted at Vero. But she didn't mean it. She just needed a way to release her anger. She then stopped walking and her claws disappeared but her hands were clenched into fists as she breathed heavily. There were almost tears in her eyes but she forced them back. Kimi watched the nekos leave and she gave a sigh of relief with a soft giggle. Her balance faltered and she still swayed. "See Renji, there was no need to fight." she said as she smiled before her eyes closed and she fell. Renji caught Kimi as she passed out and he sighed as he picked her up in his arms. "I told you. Everyone's after us and we always have to be on our guard. Now let's go. We need a healer fast." he said as he shook his head and started walking again.

Jessabella opened her eyes slowly. Something was slightly off with her leader. She stared at her. She hoped her leader could tell she was slightly concerned for her.
Cerin nodded. "Thank you very much." He bowed slightly again to Jessabella's leader before turning back to her. He smirked and weaved his hand around Jessabella and kissed her. "Hey beautiful."

Miku was muttering a few things to herself before she felt like she was being watched. She turned and saw Jessabella's gaze on her, filled with concern. She put on her best smile and giggled as she made a heart by tracing her fingers in the air. She then headed off through the territory to a small hidden hot spring. This was the only place in the territory she hid from her entire clan. It was where Seishin lived. She sat on her knees by the edge of the hot spring and the water began to twist into a female figure. Miku smiled at Seishin but before she could speak, the water spirit was already talking first. "Ah Miku, always a pleasure to see you. But this time you are worried. I can feel it. You're scared to leave at such a time like this but you are also scared to stay and never have the chance to see the world like you want. Am I wrong?" she spoke, her tone always so calm and collected. Miku sighed and knodded. "Yes, yes. You're right as always! Just tell me what I should do." she said as she looked up at the sky. Seishin just shook her head. "You know I cannot tell you what you should do. That decision can only be made by you. All I can say is that you mus choose what feels right. Think of what might be the best choice to make." she said before she disappeared into the hot spring. Miku laid back on the ground and groaned. "I love Seishin but you're always so unclear" she said in slight annoyance as she began to think.

Mimi looked at her burnt note-pad. She couldn't use it anymore and evidently needed a new one. "You were so brave!" she thought giving the thumbs up to Kimi before grinning. The screeching of seagulls weren't hard to miss so they were definitely close by. She soon gave a thumbs-up at Renji as well.
Vero allowed Rikki "to rant" off her rage as he followed her with a calm expression and a hand in his pocket. "Humans are indeed disgusting but the Neko clan is one of pride. We don't prey on weak kittens like dogs and I thought you would respect that," he soon shrugged before poking her in the side with his tail as he passed her. A small grin formed on Vero's face, "Though the bigger one isn't a kitten at all and you do have permission to rip him to shreds."

Rikki glared back at the humans and glanced back at Vero. "I do respect that! Don't ever doubt me Vero. This clan means so much to me. But there's just some things you don't know." she said as she walked beside him. She then heard him say she could take on the male human and she grinned as she cracked her knuckles. "Oh I'll do more than rip him to shreds. I'll let him know exactly what hell his kind have put me through." she muttered under her breath. Renji was carrying a limp Kimi as he continued to follow Mimi. He became silent as he was even more worried for Kimi. Plus, he wasn't sure how Mimi could be so upbeat especially since they almost got killed.

Mimi tilted her head in confusion. She soon placed her fingers against the tips of her mouth and pulled a smile. "You'll get wrinkles!" she mouthed sternly before the view of crashing waves was hidden by the trees. "We're here!" she thought happily.
His ear twitched at her comment and curiosity was clawing at his back. He didn't know why Rikki hated the humans but everyone had their own reasons. Vero scratched the back of his neck embarrassed when his stomach released a ferocious roar. "All that running has made me hungry now," he chuckled.

Rikki snapped out of her thoughts at the sound of Vero's stomach and she laughed as she rolled her eyes. She smelled the air for a moment before she looked at him. "I can smell a small herd of deer not too far northeast. But we should really ration what we have. Ever since the Ookami clan started their strategical hunting raids, it's been hard to find any big game." she said with a huff before she crouched down and turned into her tiger form. She then darted off to pounce on one of the deer. Renji looked at the beach before searching around for anyone that seemed like a leader. "Where's this Miku person you were talking about?" he asked.

Jessabella blushed and smiled up at Cerin. Suddenly, she heard another voice and looked past Cerin. Mimi, her clan member had appeared on the beach, along with others she didn't know. One mentioned Miku's name. "Miku's not here right now." She said, a little quieter. "She might be back soon."
Cerin's eyes followed Jessabella's all the way to the new people on the beach. He tensed up suddenly, but relaxed once he saw that Jessabella seemed to know them.

Renji growled in frustration at Jessabella's answer. "Well she better hurry up. She's wasting valuable time." he said in a low, rough tone before he felt Kimi moving in his arms. Kimi was smiling and giggling, looking better but not fully healed. She seemed, rested. She could smell the fresh beach air and she could hear the ocean. "Onii-chan, I want to swim!" she said excitedly as she wriggled in his arms to stand on her feet. She didn't notice the other two that were there because her eyes were focused on the ocean in front of her. Her eyes sparkled at the waves and her smile brightened as she saw the dolphins gracefully showing off their talents. "Please!" she begged. Renji sighed and shook his head. "You'll have all the time in the world to swim later. We have to wait until this Miku arrives and heals you." he said sternly as he held her close to him protectively. She crossed her arms and huffed. "I feel just fine." she grumbled as the wind moved her blonde hair around her face.

Cerin held down the urge to growl at the rudeness of the man. Jessabella was just trying to help. But he kept his mouth shut, knowing that if he did anything, it would only make it worse.
Jessabella flinched slightly. She listened as the girl asked to go into the water. "Y..you want to go into the water? I can take you. I would keep her save." She angled the last part towards the man.

Renji glared at Jessabella and shook his head. "She's sick. The last thing she needs to be doing is swimming in cold water." he said as calmly as possible as he noticed Cerin seemed to tense. The last thing he needed was to piss someone off and get into a fight. Kimi giggled and broke free of Renji's grasp as she ran toward the water. She clumsily took off her shoes and dove into the water. Her head popped back up within a few seconds and she waved to Renji. "See? I'm completely fine! You need to relax!" she teased as she twirled in the water happily. Renji at first had his hands clenched into fists before he noticed how happy his sister seemed. He sighed and smirked at her comment before deciding to do just that. He sat down on the sand and watched his sister carefully, still not fully believing she was healed yet.

Jessabella smiled as the girl ran into the water. She looked up at Cerin and pulled him with her into the water. As she stepped into the water, she quietly whispered to it. "Water, whose power is mine to control, lend your live-giving powers to me, and save this girl. Thank you Water." She smiled at the girl. "T..this should help until Miku returns."
Cerin followed after Jessabella and into the water. He loved watching her work with the water, it was magic.

Mimi couldn't touch the water without gaining a tail in the process so she simply smiled at Kimi having fun. "Worry-wart," he mouthed over at Jessabella before mutely gasping at the "love-sick" stare that the guy was giving her. "Did we intrude on the romance?" thought Mimi.
Vero's nails grew sharper as he attacked as well and managed to kill two without so much blood around. It was all a matter of severing the right artery. He soon leaped into the air and landed on another who tried to rid him off of its back. "This is how you hunt!" he grinned with a hand full of black fire. "Barbecued my dear?"
