The next day, Marcus had just walked up to his class...his usual neutral demeanor still present as he opened the door. With a sigh of content, he started to sort out the books on his desk with some new ones that he had just recently gotten. He loved to read, so naturally, his workspace was piled with books that ranged from factual information to those of myths and folklore...although such labels for those types of books were rather disputable since just about anything was possible at Hogwarts. While waiting for the students to walk in, he started to read one of his books silently.

Athena walked into the classroom reading her book. As she took her seat her eyes never left her book. When she got into a new book, nothing could get her attention away from it.

Marcus had heard footsteps that were quiet indeed...and when he looked up from the book he was reading, he saw Athena take a seat, with her eyes glued to a book that she seemed so intent on reading. With eyebrows raised up in surprise, he said, "You know, I don't see many students who actually have the will and perseverance to take it upon themselves to bask in the fruitful knowledge of literary items. I must say that you are continually impressing me, Athena. I applaud your will to expand your knowledge." He gave off a warm and friendly smile as he said that to her.

Athena turned the next page of her book missing what her professor said to her. She was so glued into her book that she didn't even notice he talked her her until she ended the chapter she finished. "I'm sorry professor I missed what you said" she said embarrassed. "Im just trying to fknish this book so I can get to the next one." athena brushed her hair out of her face which was as red as a tomatoe.

"You proabably think that's really lame and dorky." Athena said sadly and put her boom away to get ready for class.

Luna looked around. Apparently,she had fallen asleep in the class room
"Huh?What happened?" she looked around.
"Oooops..um.." she have lost her thought for words.  

[Dawnwhiskers]

Heile looked at her friend,Luna.
"What the hell?You fell a sleep? I am so telling your mom"
she said,almost yelling.Than she looked at Professor
"I'm sorry.She's always like this" her tone was apologetic.

Marcus smiled at Athena as she did not seem to hear what he had said due to the fact that she was so intensely reading her book. When she said that he probably that it was really lame and dorky, he chuckled a bit and stated, "No, not at all, Athena. I view your need to read as a rather outstanding characteristic; one that quite a lot of the students need." He glanced at the other two students...who were included in that category of 'those who needed to read more'... Seeing Luna had just woken up, he stated with a casual smile, "Sorry, I did not notice that you two had shown up to class. I thought you two had just decided to drop it." He then looked at Luna, saying, "...Please try not to fall asleep." Eventually, he stood up and clapped his hands together once and said, "Alright, who can recall what I told you to write yesterday?... Without looking at your notes, please."

Athena opened her notes just as the teacher said no looking at you notes. She wondered if her classmates knew the answers or not. She hoped they did cause she didn't want them to het on trouble.

Marcus knew that Athena would probably remember the answer easily and that she would have no trouble in answering it...so he turned his gaze to the other two students in his class. Within a few moments, he questioned, "Heile, would you please tell me what I had stated yesterday?" She seemed to be the one of the two delinquents that was awake...so naturally, he would ask her instead of Luna.

Athena hoped that her classmate knew the answer. She saw that the professors was looking away from her so she took her book out and tried to read it with out getting caught.

(so I'm going to let you know ahead of time that if I don't reply right away it's cause I have no Internet at home and I use my schools, libraries or work. Just to for warn you all.)
