Kenden Looked at him. "And how do you suggest we do that?" He said. He sounded a little annoyed.

Kala giggled. "Ladybug!" She yelled out in excitment.  

[Solner]

"Are you that daft my friend? I am proposing a duel."  

[Kairi Nightingale]

Kairi glanced at the circle of ice Hikuro had made earlier and stared at it for a moment. She got up and walked back over to where Hikuro and Kenden stood, noticing that Hikuro's other side was out again. "Are you guys done arguing yet?" she asked them, as she approached. She looked at Hikuro, silently asking him to remember what he had said to her earlier about getting along for the night.

Kala watched Kairi walk over to the guys and decided to walk over with them. "I'm done whenever he stops acting like a little kid." Kenden said to Kairi. He didn't respond to Hikuro's little comment. "I was the one being trapped in ice." He pointed out.  

[Solner]

"I do believe that I was just entertaining the girls, but alas, they lost interest and went to admire the flowers. So yes, if by acting like a little kid you mean entertaining these two beautiful women, then I am done for now." Hikuro walked over to the tree he had been leaning on earlier and spoke as he went. "Kairi, I shall fetch those skates now. I had someone deliver them to this tree." He pointed in front of him and as he said there where four pairs of skates sitting in front of the tree.  

[Kairi Nightingale]

Kairi's face immediately lit up at the sight of the skates. She turned to Kala, excited. "Have you ever ice skated before, Kala?" she asked, taking her hand and walking over to Hikuro.

Kala shook her head. "Not much chance to before." Kenden told her. He walked up to Hikuro. "If you were entertaining them, you wouldn't befreezing me in ice, you would have just stuck with the ice skating." He said just loud enough for him to hear.  

[Solner]

Hikuro grabbed the skates and began walking over to Kenden first. He shoved a pair into his hands as he said "Well from what I can tell they were enjoying it. Your sister was laughing and Kairi had a smile on her face." Hikuro walked over to Kala and Kairi and placed in front of them a fitting pair of ice skates. "Here you are, Maladies." He said with a bow.

Kairi smiled. "Who did you get to bring the skates?" she whispered to Hikuro, curiously.  

[Solner]

Hikuro leaned in closer to Kairi and whispered back "Someone who you and I know goes too fast." Hikuro then sat down and gently took his own shoes off and put on his pair of ice skates.

Kala took the skates and looked at Kairi. "Can you help me?" She asked. Kenden was glaring at Hikuro again. He sighed and just gave up on the subject and put his skates on.

"Should've known," whispered Kairi to Hikuro before kneeling down to help Kala. "Here you go, Kala," she said, buckling her skates before putting on her own. She took Kala's hands and helped her to stand before carefully walking her over to the the make-shift ice rink.

Kala smiled and held onto Kairi's hand trying not to fall over. "Thank you." She said to her. Kenden smiled watching his sister then started skating himself. He skated across the ice with no problems, leaping or doing figure eights almost without a second thought.  

[Solner]

After seeing Kenden's little showoff moment Hikuro decided to take off his ice skates and put his dress shoes back on. He stepped onto the ice and with barely pushing off he began sliding effortlessly across the ice, as if the friction was nonexistent between him and the floor. He decided to showoff a little himself. Knowing that his clothes didn't offer much flexibility, he opted for a triple axle, landing gracefully as he slid past Kenden. He smiled at him as he past and mouthed the words 'your turn'.  

[Kairi Nightingale]

Not paying attention to the boys, Kairi was content with leading Kala into another corner of the ice rink. "Don't worry about falling, okay, Kala? I'll catch you," said Kairi before showing her the basic movements of skating and helping her keep her balance as she practiced.
