Harker laughed. He couldn't help it. "Yeah, but i don't ever regret much, and it takes a lot to make me mad. Listen, you're from System. You're one of us, no matter what emo boy Gill wants to think, ok? He used you and threw you away, even though you're a good person. I know what that feels like."

He thanked the waiter, handing his newfound roomie her coffee. "So the least i can do is offer you a roof and a bite to eat, once in a while."

Zee smiled and said, "Your most likely right. Also I followed you because I wanted to ask you two questions." Zee paused before going on. "One, why did you use your ability right in front of everyone? Two, you don't by change know the location of the current System HQ? I ask because that ability of yours would normally be present there." Zee was nice, but strait forward. In all true he didn't know any other way to be.

Zee smiled and said, "Your most likely right. Also I followed you because I wanted to ask you two questions." Zee paused before going on. He laughed. "follow me, both of you."

Zee looked at the kid, he may not be from the city but he wasn't stupid by far. "And who might you be I wonder? The local kid of the block, or something. More?" Zee stood strait and looked at the kid, he was different, a super no doubt. Zee had a marvelous gift of telling them apart from the norm, something to do with his copy and learn ability no doubt. "Well?"

Kris gave him a bright, toothy smile. "Thanks, Harker. I don't know how I could ever repay you...there's just one thing I should tell you a bit." She stuck one of her fingers into the whipped cream on top of her drink, and stuck it in her mouth.

"I don't do microwaves. Me plus cooking in one of those equals instant fire. Hell, I could cook a lobster and all the trimmings, just don't ask me to warm the butter." She smiled just a bit wider, happy to have gotten a bit of luck.

Ryan stood up. It was pointless to resist himself any more. "I didn't mean to do that in front of everyone. It was more of a reflex. When I get startled or surprised I tend to do that... ability..."
Ryan didn't get to say too much more before a man walked up asking them to follow him. "Who are you?" He simply asks the man. He wasn't going to blindly follow a complete stranger, then again he didn't know why he was telling a stranger about his powers either.

"I am Gill Martin. Leader of System Diabolical"

he said simply, his eyes wandered to see Kris. He gave a small sigh.

"I called you here." he followed.

"Ah. So your the one who was crazy enough to summon me. I was expecting someone.... older. Hm. A child as a leader... things are worse than I feared. Well, beggars can't be choosers I guess." Zee looked up, he could tell the kid was telling the truth, or thought he was at least. "Sigh, I feel less human each day." He said it under his breath, his powers really were a curse. "And don't worry about it kid, if you want to practice though. I suggest you follow this guy. I know its asking a lot, but trust me."

Gill continued to laugh at him. Gill was pushing 25. Maybe a kid, but, he was mature, smart, and talented...


he didnt need numbers.

"What is this 'system diabolical'?" Ryan seemed truly lost about that. He was hopping it wasn't what he was fearing it would be.

Zee turned to Ryan and said, "You could say that..." before turning back to Gill, "So, were to now? "

He grinned. "I don't have one. Screws up the vibrations in the air, makes it hard to project," he said, straightening his collar and getting a little air. "Do you mind that it's a little run down? I haven't cleaned the place in ages, nor do i ever intend to.

She smiled slightly and shook her head, holding her hands up in defence. "Nah, that's perfectly fine. I love places that have a lived in feel to them. I could never life in a big, stuffy mansion, all alone, at that. I like places like that, really. As long as there's no hookers, I'm fine."

Harker grinned. Oooh, hookers? Maybe a few years ago, but the band's broken up now, he thought, laughing. "Oh, no worries. I'll move all the hookers before you get there, okay?" he said, jokingly.

Kris gave a loud groan, she could have slammed her head repeatedly into the coffee table as a respose. "God, there's hookers? Sheesh...I guess nowhere is safe anymore without running into one of those." Sighing, she ended up placeing her chin on the table, and sighed.

"Nope, you haven't changed at all."
