Again Alex shrugged. "It's a habit one picks up when one doesn't want to be noticed."  

[Enness Vakar]

Night nodded to her

"Very true... You appear to have a lot of practice with that. Much like myself... Though is it that you feel the need to hide yourself that you have learned this, or something else?"  

[Kanashimi Kurai]

"It's a need sometimes when travelling... never know who you'll run into." Alexiel slid to the ground, her back resting against the tree.  

[Enness Vakar]

"A good point. Though you strike me as the kind of woman that can take care of herself if the need arises."

Night digs into the pocket on his trenchcoat, pulling out his pack of cigarettes and his lighter. Shaking a cigarette loose, he places it between his lips and lights it, watching the smoke float up into the sky

"My names Night, by the way..."

"I'm Alexiel Alastaire... and this is Daemon." She motioned to the bird on her shoulder. "Just because I can take care of myself Mr. Night, does not mean that I enjoy volatile situations."  

[Enness Vakar]

Night nodded to both Alex and Daemon

"A pleasure to meet you both. And that is a wise way to do things. Though I've always been a nullheaded, charge in the front door type."

He takes another drag from his cigarette and exhales the smoke before speaking again

"How did you two become companions?"  

[Kanashimi Kurai]

"I found him when he was young, he had a broken wing and I nursed him back to health. He's been with me ever since... we have... a special bond." A special bond indeed.  

[Enness Vakar]

"I see... Interesting. I could tell you two had some kind of bond."  

[Kanashimi Kurai]

She nodded. "He's my eyes when I can't see... my ears when I can't hear... my nose when I can't smell..." Alex could link with any animal and just about any person to sense what they sense, but that mental link was stronger with Daemon than with any other. He had been with her longer and he was willing to share his mind with her.  

[Enness Vakar]

"Ah, that explains it. I've heard of that kind of bond before... Actually some of my family have it. Though I don't seem too."

He sighed slightly as he brought a small flame into the palm of his hand and incinerated the end of his cigarette, watching the flames dance for a moment before he closed his hand

Alex raised an eyebrow as she watched him. "A pyro?" How interesting.

Night looked up at her with a smirk and shrugged slightly

"Slightly. My powers seem to mainly lie in kinetic energy though. And lately a bit of telepathy."

Eien's eyes flew open, how long had she been sleeping? It must of been a long time because the dreams and visions that came to her were still crashing within the depths of her mind. Flashing of the sinning of heaven and the blessing of hells, it hurt a lot this time. But she kept her cool well pulling the wrap down from her chest and for the first time revealing the slightly rounded stomach on her pale body.

Only a month and she was starting to show, in about three more she would be ready to be born. Such as the short span for eiehian is, three to four months for a usually birth. But it brought tears to her eyes, remebering the battle with Jericho. Eien was able to summon the souls she needed from her star chambers but the last blow he made to her womb would make sure that after this. ...she could have no more children... the wombs of eiehian are very tender and very valueable. The one gift she had to herself still may be born dead or be dead already inside of her.

No she would not think such things, she knew she could feel the star-heart within her. It had to be, it just had to be.

Wrapping the wrap over herself again, Eien gently slipped from the tall oak tree she was sleeping in for the past few nights. Her grey skirt fluttered in the breeze well her sandals clicked softly. The hood covered her head, and her rings chimed on her staff. Wandering in and out of the shadows like a silver mist.

He stood In a clearing in the forest. Not relly a clearing only a whole in the canopy big enough for him to see the stadium. There was no expression shwon on his face, due to the mask. He stood the gentle breeze making his kimono like clothes sway ever so slightly. A gentle rasp as cloth moved against cloth.

His eyes shone slightly as he looked at the stadium. His let palm resting lightly on the Moonblade tucked into his sash, inadvertently stroking the cold hilt as he looked where a battle was most likely raging without.

I want to be in there.

He turned slowly and began to move again. Making his way to where he thought the other kyonuske would be. His hair was pulled back and tied now, the two bangs hanging down on the sides of his face. All that was heard as he left was the gentle swish of his clothing and the slight rasp of his breath as it hit the mask. nothing more.

"I see..." Alex fell silent, having run out of things to say.
