Satomi had nearly lost her site on perspective of what was going on around her at the moment. Having lost track of thinking about Xenon for the moment, or forgetting about how she was in charge of the other group that she had basically left Mana temporarily in charge in, even if she hadn't actually said that, Satomi was still quite stunned by realizing what had happened. Questions plagued her mind on how and why Chachamaru had come all the way here, and she found herself still baffled by such a question. How wasn't such a problematic question; it may have taken quite a toll to Chachamaru's battery life, but she was most certainly capable. On the other hand, the question of why was what really made her wonder. The only reason she would have come here were for three reasons. One, if she had ordered Chachamaru to come here herself. Two, if Evangaline had told her to, which Satomi found to be highly unlikely, seeing as how the vampire really took Chachamaru's presence quite seriously, and didn't go just about anywhere without her. Or three, if something had happened to either her or Evangaline, leading rule one or two as an exception, and she had independently took the best course of action to do something that would help her aid whoever was in trouble. So then... did something happen to Evangaline, leading to an emergency protocol?
Satomi's curiosity was nearly replaced by a stricken panic, the image of her coming from Sosuke's watch showing that her eyes had lit up when she assumed the worst, bombarding them with a sudden, mass of questions, all of which were directed to Chachamaru; as if she was ignoring Driviline altogether. "What happened?? Why did you come all the way here? Is Evangaline okay?? Where are you all now? Did you come alone? A-Are your batteries charged? Do you have any damage or malfunctions?" Over a dozen more questions filled her mind, but she had only stopped to take a breath, ready to ask more unless the others spoke. As she did, she had already picked up her pace from leaving the kimono store, nearly tripping from her high heeled sandals that went with the beautiful kimono she had bought. It was a shame that she was already running with it, showing that even though she may have fit so gorgeously with this outfit, she still knew little about taking care of it properly.

Kazumi lost herself in the costume shop. She already knew what she wanted. A pair of geta. She decided to got for the women's style since the men's sizes were much too big. A dark blue yukata without any patterning. He always seemed to be dressed in dark blue, she never understood why. The obi was a deep red, almost burgundy. It matched the hannya mask that she had taken a liking to. A shortsword worn on her left side almost completed it.
Kazumi took all these things and several yards of linen into a changing room. One thing that Yagyu Jubei did not have was breasts and she would have to bind them up.
Thankfully it was not an expensive outfit and she wandered out after paying and found a food stall where she got a short skewer of dango to complete the look, after she had pulled her arms into her sleeves of course.
Kazumi was about to chat up Kaede when she received a message on her cell. She read the message and immediately her mind flickered to her recorder. Somewhere in those tapes was an interview her editor had spiked. Though it was incongruous to the image, she stood there next to the stall and texted back in the affirmative and where they were at the moment.
((This costume is the one she wears in the manga.))
Ken did not think this was the time to be looking for costumes but really at this point there was not much he could do. He chaffed under the idea that he was helpless and perhaps that was the reason for his choice in costume. It was the jitte that he found first and after that it was only a matter of finding the sky-blue happi and hakama and the linen strips. He really should have gone for a more traditional look, but pale skinny legs were not threatening. A headband, black tabi, and wooden geta completed his outfit.
He looked himself over in the mirror. He adjusted the happi over the shoulder rig; the short jacket was fitted loosely enough that the guns did not show, this despite the fact that the jacket was open in the front and bared his upper chest and the linen that wrapped his abdomen. The fundoshi was a new and odd experience. With a flick of the wrist, he brandished the jitte and put on a fierce expression. It was then he realized that he did not look so much like the law enforcement that he was going for but rather more like the firefighters from Abarenbo Shogun. He tried to keep from laughing, the tension leaving his body.
Mana took her time wandering the costume shop. She could have sworn she had seen Zazie, but a circuit of the shop did not turn up that silent little girl.
As she walked the aisles, Mana immediately dismissed the idea of a Shinto miko out of hand. She wore it enough that she would not consider wearing it here. It was then a touch of perversity inspired her. Yes, she'd never worn such an outfit before and was never likely to ever. Yes, it would be a perfect outfit. Though, no flashing travelers for money. As she perused the different robes and sashes, she decided to stay with the traditional colors, though they did not really suit her skin tones in her opinion.
Ken found Asakura outside, tucking her cellphone away. He recognized a tall, busty girl standing nearby as someone from class. And there near the shop, juggling, was that girl that had done that magic trick in the hallway last week. And over there, wasn't that girl also from class? It was then that what he thought was a statue moved, he turned back to Asakura to ask if she had just seen what he had saw.
When he turned back, he found Asakura giving him the once over, her eyes flickering side-to-side as she looked him down and then up. She was about to say something when she spotted something over his shoulder and burst out laughing. Nonplussed, he turned around and saw Mana emerge from the costume shop dressed as a Buddhist nun. Well, that's different.
((OK, puppet my characters if need be, this post is it for me tonight.))

For the most part, Satomi was able to quickly calm down, beginning to realize how it was a little silly of her to over react as she was from Chachamaru appearing as she did. Though she did find it strange that Evangaline had ordered her to come here, the vampire hardly seemed to ever part with Chachamaru, so it must have been quite important. Still, as wierd as it was, it didn't seem like there was anything too troubleing about the situation, but she did still seem to find this all rather strange. As well, when Chachamaru mentioned her battery was low, that told her that she was pressed for time and should hurry up a bit. Restoring her systems was extremely tedious, and she still had to work out a few bugs with rebooting from a total battery drain, so the last thing she needed was to end up with having to deal with that.
"Xenon-san?" She quickly turned to look at her before asuring her of the situation, noticing how the android seemed to be mimicking the emotion of a bit of confusion, perhaps some sort of sadness even. Hopefully that will chang shortly though. "Follow me. I don't think they're very far." She said with a quick few words and light smile, sounding like she was in a bit of a hurry as she dashed down the main streets of Cinema village with Xenon. She still kept the Chronographer watch on, looking at it to now see that Sosuke had given it to Chachamaru for the time being. Though that didn't drag her attention away as she tried to keep her eyes ahead, attempting to see if she could spot the others. It didn't seem like they could have been too far now, right?
She nearly tripped a few times though, still not used to the kind of footwear she was trying to run in, and continued to keep her eyes ahead, attempting to spot them somewhere off in the distance. But finally, noticing the strange mixture of a long, orange and blue haired teenager, the red head with a metal right hand, the tall teenager with those familiar earblades and green hair, and of course, the oversized 'man' in greenish skin, carrying what seemed like... a television?
Yep... that was them alright.
"Heeeey!!" She called out, waving her free hand frantically, the other still holding that parasol that went along with her beautiful, teal kimono as hurried to them as fast as she could.
((My last post was horribly rushed, so I deleted/edited to it now that I was able to focus. ^^; I'll post as Zazue tomorrow. 3nodding ))

Chachamaru hears Satomi call out to them. She turns to face her and might not have recognized her seeing she was dressed completely different from her normal attire. Bowing, "Satomi Hakase-san." As she straightens up she removes the device which Sosuke had given her as it was no longer required. "Thank you, Sosuke Yamashita-san."
Chachamaru turns her attention back to Satomi and Xenon. Looking over Xenon she was absolutely certain that she wasn't human, maybe another of Satomi's creations. Though that wasn't her concern at the moment. "Satomi Hakase-san, I have brought Grundy-san here to see you. He has a problem which you are the most qualified candidate to rectify." Chachamaru pauses, she felt the problem wasn't really one, but her master had ordered her to carry it out, so it was an important matter. "Grundy-san requires a device which would be able to supply power to the television, he is currently holding. His accomodations, do not meet the basic standards required in its operation. Master, kindly requests your aid in the matter." Chachamaru watches Satomi hoping she would agree. After all, who knew what Grundy would do if he didn't get his way.

As Zazie went around the corner of the main street, having seen Mana and her group go in the direction and attempting to follow, she found that afterwards... there was no luck in finding her. It seems that they lost her when they had broken the line of site with the group, causing Zazie to come to a halt when she so they were no were in site. "Mana-san..." She said her name slowly, almost sounding like she was longing to see her, showing a rare emotion in her voice of desire. It just troubled her a bit to have been away from her for so long this year, and it threw her off pace somewhat, like her usual routine in school was not the same without the girl.
Having ceased from her juggling, Zazie slowly turned back to Kaede, looking at her with that blank expression, as if waiting for what she had to say to her, seeming to be a bit lost now that she had been away from Mana for so long. Before, it hadn't bothered her, but now that she had been so close, it seemed that her thoughts couldn't shake away now from thinking about one of her only friends from Mahora. From her appearance, it was impossible to tell if she was troubled at all, the dead set, blunt expression of hers never seeming to change as she spoke a single word, asking Kaede what she thought. "Pursue?" She had her head tilted just a bit, as if the decision was entirely left up to the ninja.
When Satomi arrived, she had to take a few seconds to catch her breath from running, realizing just then that she must have been getting a bit out of shape... Which was saying something since even though she wasn't that strong, she had a large amount of stamina, mostly from how hard she always pushed herself while working in the lab. Still, she straitened up, putting on her soft smile once again while she looked at Xenon for a moment, then back to the group. It was only then that she realized how Chachamaru and Xenon meeting may end up as something that could go either really well, or really horrible. Chachamaru was able to simulate some pretty basic emotions, and she didn't remember programming jealousy into her, so she wasn't worried about her own creation. But Xenon on the other hand was not her own, and the android had proven time and time again that she was... unpredictable. Still, it was too late now, so she would hold her breath and hope for the best.
Before she said anything, Driviline had been the first to speak, and despite his compliment, she didn't like hearing it from him. After yesterday, it was hard to take anything he said like that in a good way. She saw it more as he was probably looking at her in a perverted manner, or may have been getting ideas of some sort. After all, last night had proved to her that he was a complete pervert, and she still had not forgiven him from that. On the other hand, when Chachamaru had now gained the young scientist's attention, she looked at her, listening closely to what had to be said. If there was anyone who could tell her strait as to what was going on, it would have been her.
Though, what they had come all the way here to ask her to do was... disappointing at best. Here she had thought it was something big. Like perhaps a discovery, or a critical emergency, or the request for an exotic and strange invention. But instead it was something like this... how boring. "Can't that wait until a little later? More importantly, we need to get your battery charged first before you run out. You know it's such a pain to restore your systems if you do! What id you didn't make it in time before they depleted? Or what if I didn't bring the proper tools??" Her focus obviously not on the TV, Grundy, or anyone else aside from Chachamaru, Satomi's tone was of a deep concern, almost a panicked worry like a mother who was worried for her child.

As soon as Xenon laid her eyes on Chachamaru, her anxieties about meeting her naturally melted away. She could see that Chachamaru was definitely different to her in design, and probably a lot more different in programming; but she figured that for the purposes of communication and reactions, it would probably be best to treat her as a human; unless it was prioritizing between herself and Chachamaru... but she didn't even start thinking about what she'd do in that eventuality; it would only lead around in circles, like a snake trying to eat it's own tail. For now, she just remained quiet, waiting either to be talked to or asked to do something.
CRUNCH
Grundy had slammed the head of his huge axe into the ground next to him to create a small crater beside him. He might not be particularly intelligent, but his common sense wasn't quite as lacking. He practically doubled over, bringing his eyes level with Satomi. "NO! CAN NOT WAIT UNTIL LATER!" He practically shouted. It was a very good thing that he actually had his helmet on; it served like a sort of sneeze guard to prevent the various pieces of saliva and phlegm from flying into Satomi's face. Of course, it did nothing to prevent the foul stench of his breath."Me been running for long time to get magic picture box working! No wait longer!"
Cassandra wasn't far at all; and heard her favorite Orc bellowing into someone's face. By the shouting about a 'magic picture box', she figured out that he'd managed to obtain a TV somewhere... which in itself was fairly worrying, as far as she was concerned. Turning a corner, she finally saw him... Yep. That was definitely Grundy, practically shouting into poor Satomi's face. She knew that he wouldn't recognize her in this disguise, so she simply stood ten or so meters away, looking away from them but listening intently.
