The men get on the helicopter and Ace does the same but before closing the door he says to the girl "Carefull that wolf is dangerouse." Ace closes the door and the helicopter starts to take off

Suka gets to her feet, readying to follow the flyer. She hadn't really thought there would be a chase involved, but was excited at the idea of a nice full out run. With a parting look at the girl, the wolf bounded off towards the fleeing machine.

Not quite sure what to do at the momment, the girl watches the wolf run after the helicopter. She thought it was rather strange. Not that she would waste words asking someone why such an odd occurance was happening. So instead she turned to her only comfort, her astrology. Looking up at the tilted sun and the two feint stars that shone above, she began her meticulous calculating.

Ace notices the wolf following him so he gives a hand sign to the gunman at his right to tranquilize the pursuer so the man aims down at the wolf and fires precise and timely aimed shots almost assuring a hit as they near th halfway part of the city

Suka would have been hit hadn't it been for the large cart she darted under as it pulled into the street. She yipped as a few large apples fell around her as she passed by the cart, the large bellied vender yelling at her and shaking his fist.

It had truly been a while since she had a good run like this, she thought as she trimmed her ears and pressed on. The momment she had slowed to pass the cart gave the helicopter time to pull further ahead. Even as she weaved between the buildings, she was starting to lose sight of her quary. But she was a wolf, not human and just because she lost sight of her prey did not mean the chase was over. Now her sense of smell would play the bigger role.

((By the way, she isn't trying to chase him down to eat him. She just refers to him as prey cause she's chasing him. Wolves has simple mindsets so it would seem. ^'^))

As the helicopter looses sight of the wolf but the sniper still sees her with the scope they start to talk "Sir I see te wolf still chasing us." Ace yawns "Don't worry even if it does follow us back to the city it wont be able to get in and it will take about an hour by the pace that wolf is running at to even get halfway so we should be there in about 30 at most because of flying so there is no need to worry."

Tongue hanging out in a drool dripping pant, Suka continued to go up and over the dune ridden landscape. Ace's scent was fading, due to the changing winds.

Stopping at the crest of a dune, she stops and looks in the general direction he had disappeared. After a momment, she sat in the sand admitting defeat. The rabbit got away, for the time being. She smiled a toothy grin before turning back towards Akila, now a darkened slant on the horizen. It was dangerous to be out in the open desserts at night, and it would be near dusk by the time she returned.

Ace reaches Washington and lands on the landing pad exiting the vehicle as people start to refuel the helicopter "Well i'm going to bed." Ace gets in a car and as he goes down the streets that look like they did in 2009 he wonders why the wolf decided to folow them but ignores it as he gets home and into his bed still in the cloths he was wearing from the day as his armor and weopons stay on the base locked up tight

Senaka opens one eye and looks out from under her hood. 'I wonder where that wolf has gotten to?' she thinks before lowering her head again and falling alseep in the waining sunlight.

Suka manages to re-enter the town just as sunset sets in. the many streetways are starting to settle as shops are closing for the day. A few pubs light their lanterns and a light music begins to play. Nightlife is a gentle sway compared to the hustle and bustle of day. The folks who wander the streets are more relaxed and more apt to laugh as they make merry. The wolf wanders, letting her nose lead her back to the girl from earlier. Now was as good a time as any to investigate such an intersting girl.

A few minutes later, Suka found the girl perched atop a balcony a book in her hand. The girl had taken off the dark blue robe she had worn and now sparkled in the torchlights like a newly cut diamond. Her silvery gown was made from the silks inported from another town and fit her body like that of a full grown woman, just right. Not noticing the wolf that padded towards her, the girl looked up at the darkening sky then wrote in her book, repeating the process every few minutes.

Silently Suka sat beside her and watched her write in her book. Now and again she looked at the sky too, wondering what it was the girl saw worth writing about up there.

A small smile quirked the girls lips. She had a visiter it seemed. Her attention was on the stars that now glinted lightly in the magenta hues and deepening navy, so she didn't give a greeting. It pleased her to have someone near, even if she didn't ineract with them. Just the presence made her happy. Together the astrologer and the wolf sat in companionable silence.

A cloaked figure walked miles in the dessert, earlier he had seen a helicopter. Hoping it would take him to civilization he barely caught the site of a wolf from earlier, but before he could engage moving towards it the wolf left. He followed the wolf secretly and far away out of scent range until he came upon a view of a city. He gave an evil grin inside his armor and filled the air with an evil laugh and said "...I will conquer all that get in my way and grind this city under my heel, humans will restore order to this world...isn't that right Argamis?" the sword in the man's hand gave a red glint in the dark night.

(just so you know, this city is primarily comprised of humans. You won't have to do much in way of crushing the resisitance. lol The only known non human in the story so far is Senaka, and she's a Noble. You probably don't want to go messing with her right away. ^'^ She's not openly hostile)

As the last of the days light faded and night fully set in, the silver gowned girl closed her book and looked over at the wolf. With a flourish of silk she left the balcony and entered the shadowed room beyond. Suka had little time to wonder where the girl had gone when she reappeared, a plate in her hand.

Setting it down on the ground, the green eyed lass sat on the warm stone and beckoned the wolf closer. On the plate was a mix of meats sliced thinly and displayed with a hint of garland. Picking up a rolled slice the girl held it out to the wolf, a gentle smile lighting her face. Slowly Suka approached and took the nibble between her smaller front teeth.

Together they sat and enjoyed the platter, while the stars started to glint brightly.

Sitting bolt upright, Senaka threw back her hood and surveyed the area. Panik made her heart pound in her ears as no sign of her companion could be seen.

"Where have you gone, my child?" she whispered as she went to the edge of the roof and looked down onto the far less crowded street below. In the many months she had cared for the wolf, not once had the creature wandered so far away without her. Worry creased the Nobles' brow as she lept down into Akila's nightlife.

Now that the light had been brought to an end helicopters could be heard heading back to Washington to end the days missions and they turn on there headlights to guid throug the dark when there radar is off. The chief o the city comes out to see the wolf and walks out smiling as he steps closer to his daughter "hello daughter I am here to see if you are ok after what Ace has said and if this wolf would like to sleep here for the night."

(I think it's funny how we haven't named the chieftain or his daughter. Interesting observation heehee. )

Looking up at her father, the girl smiled letting her eyes squinting as she nodded fervently. She didn't mind Ace at all, at least at the momment. In times like these there were always those who were apt to turn away from faiths. Lucky for her, her faith was based on a palpable object, the stars and their surrounding planets, not some unknown entity. She could handle anything he dished out with a smile and she knew it.

Getting to her feet, she lead Suka into the large well furnished room. She plopped on one of the many fluffy cushions that littered the room and motioned for the wolf to make herself at home.

Suka stepped in silently and plopped onto a pillow at her side, heaving a sigh of contentment. At least for now, the wild beast took comfort in her surroundings. Being in the presence of this girl calmed her inside, though she knew not why. So for now, she would bask in the star readers glow. Her master would call her soon enough.

The cloaked figure entered the town he looked all around him seeing humans, not siting anything other. He decided he didn't need to liberate this town, he headed towards a bar in the middle of the city. The bar was busheling with people flooding in and out of the bar. Cody spotted groups of people having fun and felt a sharp pain in his heart, he sat down and ordered a few drinks.

Ace gets a phone call which he answers grogaly "Hello?" "Chief:Hello it took me a while to get your people to contact you but There is a strange wolf in here an i've never seen it before should I be worried because it looks like a pet of the highers as we call them." Ace looks at the cloc then replys "There is no need to worry the wolf hasn't harmed you or anyone else I doubt it will so go back to sleep and John if you do see it's owner remember that we will only protect when you are attacked by other cities not people unless you hire some gaurds to help protect you which almost nobody does." Ace gives a yawn and hangs up as the Chief hangs up and gets in bed to rest

Senaka stalks along the many open night shops, making passing glances withing before hurrying onward. Bars, inns, and even a makeshift theatre were bustling with townsfolk out to make merry. Normally, she would have wandered into one of them and found some idle amusement to satisfy her until she tired and found a place to rest. Not now, however.

Onward ever onward as she rounded the corner and found a lantern lit plaza, where folks sat on the ground and talked or listened to the musicians playing in the corner. Even though she lacked the high pointed ears that tagged most demons of the area, she still had very sensitive hearing. So instead of paniking any further, she sat in the short grass and let herself calm. One at a time, she disgarded the noises in the area, hoping to catch one inkling of her precious wolf.

Suka stretched on the pillows and yawned widely, her eyes feeling heavy. It would be ok, she could nap for just a little while, then she'd go back. Her master would probably still be snoozing having not slept in over a week. Shaking her head, should be snoozing. If she were human she would have forced her master to rest more often. Even if she was a noble, she wasn't without limits.
