I personally thought that Colm was pretty cool I mean he is a thief. I think thieves are one of the best in the game. I can always depend on them.

I'm not a big fan of thieves myself. I generally prefer people less reliant on speed. Mostly because it's hard to lead a charge with them. If you are attacking a general doing 0 damage twice doesn't get you anywhere. Don't get me wrong, they kick mage a** but they don't get reliable until their avoid is like...70.


I prefer berserkers, heroes, warriors. People that deal damage.

Yes, but when you are leveling up your guys and you bring some weaker ones in and you encounter a general they can't hit you. I had Mathew going against five pirates, two wyvern riders, one sage, and two cavaliars and he was wooping a$$. Oh and two archers. Of course if I would have known he was going to go up against that many by himself he would of had back up, but I can always rely on them regardless of the occasion.

I don't think a berserker could've taken all of them mostly because there was a Sage. In FE:SS my average resistance with Ross as a berserker is like 5.

yeah but with me Ross went up against like three sages.

Be that as it may, a Thief/Assassin has a much much better chance to live against a Sage than a Berserker. If I were to choose out of the lords of the 2 GBA games I would say that Hector is my favorite by far.

That is true and I would have to agree, except that I have only played the first one and a little bit of the second. Hector is the bomb and he can take on any one I throw him against and survive with only minor wounds.

My fav character is toss up between hector and eliwood

ELIWOOD!?! WTF!? I've NEVER gotten Eliwood to be anything better than mediocre when I was playing. Every time Lyn just kicks his arse 6 ways to Sunday.

that is true but the decision was based on not being able to upgrade her by my own stupidity until i upgraded Eliwood

Eliwood is not that bad...Once you can upgrade him otherwise he does really suck balls. I never really liked Lyn. Yeah she was good and could use bows, which helped out a lot, but I just liked using Hector more then I did most of the other Leaders.
