Kris set one of her gloved hands on the table, and leaned it. Her thin lips were curled into a rather unpleasant smirk. Lips parting for a smile, it could easily be seen that her canines were shrinking, but not by very much. "How did I ditch the tail, you ask? Oh, not much...but it makes a good story, if you want to hear about it. Or..."
The woman leaned back in her chair, still grinning, picking at one of her nails. "Or would you prefer the ask and die column?"
