Jean-Mark took the information down, putting it down on the form, "He will have to fill out his own paperwork at some point, but for now, as long as thats alright with you, he can piggyback off of your citizenship." Jean-Mark typed something in and searched through citizenship records. After about ten minutes or so he found Maryse's and stamped her new file. He slid it back to her. "There is a two week to one month mandatory rest period from after you file these, so that you can acclimatize to life outside the wastes. you can file for an extension because of Richie's leg." He got up and walked out, then turned and poked his head back in, "If you two need anything, I'll be your embassy contact."

She stared at the picture feeling weird inside. Almost felt like jealous as she stared at her. they would have had a family if the zombies never came, she always wanted to have one. "i'm....I'm sorry." She took his hand and traced his hand feeling bad all over cause she bought it up.

"Nah its fine.I know its sad but it would be even worse is i had forgotten about her."Damon replied in a sort of hurt tone.he shrugged off the feeling and kissed her cheek."Trust me it hurts to speak about her but it is best to speak about her."He said softly taking the picture back and putting it in his pocket he stretched and stood up."I saw some people being documented I can just hope we aint next."he said changing the subject.

She brushed the hair out of her face and nodded agreeing. "yeah me to." She look away staring out to the distance and thought for a minute. "i wonder if they have a pool or beach here?" She thought of all the time she won in swiming before everything happen. How she loved the water and all sea things.

"I doubt it water looks to be scarce here so they wouldn't be letting anybody go swimming in their drinking water.besides the lakes of ontairo are unswimmable because of some unknnown reason. i forget why."Damon said mildly as he light a cigerette smoking.

Ryu came back from his jog depressed. Everyone here lived so... sadly. He came into the house. Allen acknowledged him with a quick look up from his book. "How long have you been reading that?", Ryu asked. Without looking up from his book he replied," since you left." "Ive been gone for at least two hours" he said unbelieving. Allen shrugged "How about we try looking for wolfie and, ah... umm...what was his name again?" He asked. Ryu shook his head. "Damon" he said but Allen Jumped up and said the same thing. he sighed again and went to start up the truck.

As she started walking again she couldnt help but think what would have happen if any of this didnt hapen. She probaley might still have her sister and her dog and she might still have had her swiming contest. She looked around and shook those thoughts away and nearly ran into Allen. "allen that you?"

Damon smiled."Good to see ya out of the wasteland."Damon said to allen,He took him off to the side for a few moments making sure nobody could see them and brandished his revolver."Heh see what I got."He said with a smile showing him it then quickly putting it away as other civilians started to show up on the streets.He walked back over to wolfie and gave her a small smile it was good they found their accomplices even if he didn't know them all that well.

She muttered under her breath at damon. "show off." She looked at him before looking away and seeing ray in the distance. "ah come on!" She hid behind the truck nearly laying on the ground so she wasnt discovered. She wipe her face as she saw his feet getting closer.

"That's fine," Maryse replied. Maybe things wouldn't be that bad after all, she thought. She hesitated a moment, then said, "Thank you."

When Jean-Mark was gone, Maryse left the room and re-joined Richie in the embassy's 'lobby'. "You're riding on my citizenship for the time being," she said to him, "We have about a month before they put us to work, maybe a little longer if we apply for an extension because of your leg."

"How am I a show off."Damon said gently as he knelt beside her kissing her cheek."Your safe with me...I want to know why he's following you.I at least deserve that much information."

"Awsome, so, what does this mean? I'm a Canadiac now? Or what?" Richie paused, realizign how he was sounding, "I'm sorry about being such an *** to this country. I'm a true blooded American, and I'm in a lot of pain, so that makes me say things I normally wouldn't without thinking. So, where do we apply for the extension? I doubt a miracle wil lhappen and my leg will be healed in a month. We gotta figure out living quarters and everything too. Did that Jean guy talk to you about all that already? Or do we gotta find someone else?"

She duck her head as he passed and she looked back at damon. "well before all this happen we were middle school sweet hearts if that what you call it and over the years we still never broke up but day before the out break i broke up with him cause i caught him chearting on me, i guess he still likes me."

''Or it could be because the girl he cheated with is a zombie now.''Damon replied quietly.He scratched his head and stretched rolling his shoulders a little bit and yawned as well.''This life of safety sure gets boring after a while.''
