I was in third grade. I had bangs then and they'd gotten just long enough to bother me because my mother hadn't trimmed them in a while. Apparently (I say "apparently" because I sure as hell don't remember this), I took a pair of kid scissors, went to the bathroom and proceeded to "fix" my hair. My god, was my mother angry. That part I do remember.

When I was 6, I broke my arm and had to be rushed to the emergency room, where they kept calling me "such a good pretty little boy"cuz I had the typical asian little-kid-mushroom-haircut.


I never cut my hair short again. biggrin
