Jager turned to Emelin.
"I really have no way of telling what Knight you will be. It's just a guess. Also, you find your dragon's resting place by I guess instinct. That's how I found Valk"
He pointed his thumb up at Valk.

"Hm... that's cool. So, that's a dragon? Not to sound rude, but I've never seen a dragon before."

She had a slight awe in her voice, especially since, she's never actually seen a dragon before.

"Yes, this is my Dragon. It's not too big of a surprise that you haven't seen a dragon, they're fairly rare.."

"We? You said we? You wish to accompany me?" She smiled to herself. Sweet, she thought, but not needed. He does not understand. She glanced back at him. "So where do I find this dragon?" Suddenly, she felt a lightning bolt in her head, as though she had said something offensive to someone who could hurt her. She fell to her knees and clutched her head, cradling it in her hands.

Emelin smiled. "So, that voice in my head that I heard.... that was my dragon?"

"What exactly don't I understand?" Jager said tapping his temples. "Something wrong Topaz? Disrespect the dragon like that and this tends to happen. This dragon that chose you, it's not a 'this' or an 'it'. It's a living creature." Jager looked down at Topaz.
"I can't say where your dragon is. I just know that we find it driven by instinct. You will find the place your dragon lies without knowing how you know."
Jager turned to Emelin.
"Yes, the voice you heard was, indeed, your dragon."

Grinning when she asked the question, but then Topaz caught her eye when she collapsed on the floor and soon went down next to her.

"Oh dear, are you alright?"

"I think so," she said to Emelin.
Topaz stayed on the ground because of the shock, looking knowingly at Jager.
"You don't understand many things," she said in a momentous voice, "One being the ability to keep your ears out of one's thoughts!" She stood up, looking piteously at him. Poor indignant human, she thought. And I don't care if you heard that.

"My dragon, if that was the voice I heard, sounded as though he or she was singing. But in a wind storm. There was whistling, and the dragon seemed to be sining along with it. It is no small feat to sing with a windstorm. Now I might be wrong, but I think that my dragon may be in a windstorm." She looked hard at Jager.

Emelin tried to give a reassuring smile, but then sat back in a more comfortable postion next to Topaz, flipping out her jacket from under her thus leaving a part of her wing exposed. Un-intentionally of course.

"Your feathers are beautiful," said Topaz, unscathed, seeing her exposed wing. She looked closer. "Sepharic angel, if I'm not mistaken?" Topaz loved to shock people, and once again, she tried to shock Emelin with her knowledge of wings and feathers.

Jager kneeled down to Topaz, getting close enough so their faces were almost touching and grabbed the collar of her shirt. He spoke in calm, yet cold and harsh tone.
"Look, there's a lot I don't understand. I don't understand WHY I was exiled! I don't understand WHY I can't be with the one I love! I don't understand WHY this demon was cursed on ME! I don't understand WHY I'm still alive! I don't understand WHY I'm the chieftain either!"
He let go of her shirt with a slight push and started to walk off and halted.

"We gonna find your dragon or not?"

Topaz, succeeded in surpising her, quickly looked to her wings, seeing one was exposed and gave a smile, covering it again.

"Thank you for the compliment, and I don't know what kind of angel I am... that's what I'm trying to find. I never knew my parents..." she looked at her hands and began to awkwardly pick at her nails. Then shot her head up at the sudden commotion coming from Jager. As he began to walk away, she quickly but clumsily, got up.

"You're right. There is a lot you don't understand," she said, walking past him.
"Like why he had to die." She called back, as she passed him. She stepped soldly, but gracefully, as though she was not walking on the ground at all, but hovering above it.

Emelin straightened her jacket and followed, but stopping next to Jager. "I guess I shall follow you both, as you two seem to know where you are going." She gave an awkward smile and walked after Topaz.

Jager walked on. What he had said had been getting to him. Not out of fear he had 'hurt Topaz's feelings' but out of memory of her. This demon that had come out of him had killed her, but she was revived by the Dragon Chieftain of Ithranna.
He closed his eyes, and a single tear fell down his cheek. He wiped it away before Emelin or Topaz saw.

While walking, he felt a tension between Topaz and himself.
"So who is this guy that died?"
