After just sitting there for a while, Jaxine decided to speak up and ask Xemnas something useful. At least, it was the most useful thing she could come up with at the moment. "Do you have any plans for after dinner or am I free to go wherever I want?" Even though she didn't except the last option, it was worth asking. She knew the castle better than the other apprentices at this point, as she had been here before.

"At least he finishes his missions, unlike waterboy!" Xigbar answered Xaldin cheerfully, being glad to have some kind of conversation. Not that he hated Demyx. On the contrary, it was one of the people he liked better in the Organization. Yet making fun of the boy's lazyness wouldn't hurt, right?

Zexion silently ate the cake he had chosen as his dessert, thinking about how to bring the question he had for Xemnas in a way he would get the most useful answer. Their Superior was known for having a lot of secrets, and if one of those apprentices wasn't a normal Nobody, their leader wouldn't tell them that easily.

"Oh, really?" Lars answered to show his interest in what the male had to say. "The male with the eyepatch surely doesn't act like one." He had to take a wild guess about who the first six of them were, and really hoped he wouldn't humiliate himself by talking about a member who wasn't a scientist at all.

"Who did he choose? That blue haired guy that's staring at us like we're his next prey?" Myrthe asked while trying her best to keep her laugh in. Dang, that guy could glare!
She didn't reply to the apprentice comment, although she did think about it. So there's a chance that girl would be the next leader? If so, she just hoped the girl would be kind!

Allayx glanced up at Saïx who had spoken to her. The tenth member? They had some kind of ranks? Sounded logical, although she wasn't going to ask. If this was the case, they'd tell her eventually.
"I see. I met him in one of the corridors where he offered me his company. I refused." The girl explained in her normal voice that was calm and respectful. It seemed like something her teacher might wanted to know. Although, looking back at it, she should have accepted instead of getting lost.

"Do you have a reason for the silence?" Not that he cared. Silent members were mostly the more serious ones, although Marluxia couldn't deny he liked a good conversation so now and then. Which was exactly what he was trying to achieve at the moment.

Demyx finished his dessert and leaned back in his chair with a big grin. "That was delicious! Good job, Xemmy!" He gave their leader a thumbs up, although he wasn't sure the leader had heard him.

Jaxine spoke up about plans for after dinner. Xemnas hadn't explained that to her yet.
"You are free to do as you like." He said. The new members could not always be guided. Some things they would have to do on their own. They could have a little freedom.

"He ran from a Possessor today." Xaldin informed. Most members could take those out on their own. Apparently Demyx couldn't. It was not good to be incapable in this Organization.

Nechax already made plans to escape after dinner. He hardly guessed that he would be allowed to roam freely by himself. So he prepared in advanced.

"He was labelled one, but I never saw anything great come from him." Vexen scoffed. "Xigbar was more suitable as a guard, and a deviant."
While Dilan and Aeleus had guarded the castle most of the time, Braig had always wandered of somewhere no one knew.

"Bingo." Axel grinned. "Luxord, give her a prize!"
"You assume I have something." The blond snorted. He searched his pockets, handing Myrthe an ether. "It could come in handy someday."
It wouldn't for him.

"Good." Saix turned away from the three miscreants. He was not one to hint approval, but Allayx had made a decision he had not expected of her. He expected her to be much weaker in will.

"No. I guess not." Shaxirma shrugged. If she spoke more, it would be lies. Eventually should would have a whole web of lies to maneuver and remember. It was best to stay quiet.

(( Yeah, ooc at the top... I hope what Xigbar said was correct, I wasn't sure about it. And in Zexion's post I have something like that too.. trying to improve my english. x3 ))

A bit surprised at the answer, Jaxine allowed herself a small smile. "Alright then." She wondered for how long she'd be free, but figured it wasn't a question that needed to be asked. Xemnas would find her if he needed her.
The girl soon finished her sea-salt ice cream, finding it unfortunate those things were so small. Whenever she began eating the ice cream, she always found herself wanting more. But as she couldn't really feel sad, it was soon forgotten.

"Really?! That's even worse than last time! If he doesn't learn to fight soon he can shake it for sure!" The Freeshooter finished his pastry and pushed his plate to the side so he could lay down his arms on the table instead.

Zexion finished his cake, realizing it would only be a few minutes now before they would be allowed to leave the table. It sounded childish, but if Xemnas did not have those rules this group would be a mess. Such a shameful thing that Organization XIII wasn't as organized as they made out to be.

"A guard, you say? Interesting." Lars nodded his head as he too finished his dessert. It made him wonder about the past these people had together, yet asking probably wouldn't do him any good. Showing his interest but not asking questions seemed to be best with Vexen.

Myrthe laughed at the behaviour of the two, and had a big smile when Luxord actually gave her something. She examined the object, not sure what to think of it. Some kind of substance seemed to be inside of it. "Thanks, but... what exactly is it?" Confusion could be seen on her face as she looked at all sides of it.

Allayx simply nodded, although she was really relieved he approved of her action and was not disappointed. "Luxord is not someone he likes." She noted in her head, knowing she would do well to avoid "number Ten".
This made her think of an useful question to she could ask: "Sir, is there anyone you rather have me stay away from? If so, I'd like to know. I hate it when others interfere with my, or our, business." She really hoped the question sounded normal and not like she was hiding anything. It was simply the truth; she didn't want any distractions.

"That's quite intruiging." Marluxia nodded as he finished his dessert and cleaned his mouth with a napkin. The Superior would probably dismiss them soon. Good. Larxene looked like she'd explode from curiosity.

Larxene smirked at Demyx as she finished her food as well. She'd love to see the little lazy brat suffer for once again fleeing and failing his mission. No, she hadn't missed it. The look Saïx gave him was one everyone knew.
And her apprentice would probably be punished too for something she did! How wonderful.

It was highly possible that the apprentices would find some trouble in their free time. Saix would take care of it for Xemnas. He needed some alone time to go over his plans. Jaxine wasn't ready for that responsibility yet, nor would she understand it.

“Why doesn't Xemnas just turn him into a Dusk already?” Xaldin pondered as he finished the last bites of his dessert. Demyx even had power over the traitors. That did not make sense. Although.... Xemnas was possibly using Demyx as a bumper, preventing the traitors from gaining more power. If that was the case, that was the only use the Nocturne was worth to the Organization.

“Doesn't mean he actually did anything related to his job.” Vexen remembered. Often he was stuck babysitting Ienzo, if Ansem wasn't. None of the other apprentices could be bothered most of the time. Even, who had most of the experimenting to do, stuck babysitting of all things! He had wasted so much time!

“Ether. You use it to restore your magic.” Luxord took a sip of the wine he had filled twice during the dinner. He wasn't aiming to get drunk, but it wouldn't ruin his night if it happened.

Saix raised his eyebrows. His apprentice was turning out far more sensible than he had first thought. She was prepared to listen to everything he said after all.
“Demyx, Marluxia, Larxene, Axel, Luxord, and Zexion.” Saix listed off. He had difficulties trusting the last three. Zexion was shifty, and could find out too much. Axel was just a clown. Luxord wasted time away on games, although he got the bare minimum done.

“Really?” Shaxirma looked at him dubiously. Silence wasn't anything great. Useful in concealing thoughts, but there was nothing special about being quiet.

Everyone was finishing up dessert. Xathere knew she only had a short amount of time left before Saix would unleash his plan for her. She didn't think she would be able to get out of it. Saix also looked very strict. He wouldn't go easy on the first day.

Jaxine glanced back at Xemnas. He seemed to be thinking again, and she couldn't help but wonder about what, like always. She respected his privacy though, and wouldn't ever ask. The girl trusted him, and that he would tell her whatever she needed to know. He had always told her just enough. Not more, not less.

"I dunno, he's a fun guy to be around! And you have to admit those water clones of him can be useful in battle! Especially when you need a distraction for your enemy!" As long as you gave Demyx the right instructions and made sure he wasn't being lazy, the guy COULD be useful... not very often though. "Yet that Xemnas still doesn't hate him is a miracle."
Thinking about Xemnas, was he still going to announce that they're all dismissed or what?

"Is he of any use at all?" Lars asked, not sure what to think of the male with the eyepatch. He tried to not sound stupid in his questions, as he as actually told to not ask any.

"...I can do magic?" More confusion. Myrthe gave Luxord a curious look that some would consider cute and others would find it annoying. It just forced a person to answer.

Allayx nodded again, although she only knew one of those people, which was Luxord. She would have to pay attention and ask around to get to know the other members Saïx named. Now she just had to remember the names, which would probably be the hardest part.
"Thank you, sir." The black haired girl said to show her appreciation. She wanted to be respectful to him, although she wasn't sure if she had to call him by name, sir, master, or anything else. He seemed to accept sir so far.

"Yes." Marluxia let out a soft chuckle. "Not a lot of people are able to keep their mouth shut. Especially not when it's about secrets." He spoke in mysteries this time. They had to begin sometime with turning the apprentices into traitors, preferably immediately.

(( Okay, is Xemnas going to have another speech in your next post explaining the apprentices are free to do what they want? x3 ))
PostPosted: Sat Apr 07, 2012 9:14 am
Noticing that everyone appeared to be finished, Xemnas spoke. When he wanted to be heard, his voice could carry over all other conversations without shouting. “You may all be dismissed. Apprentices, unless their tutors think otherwise, are free to roam the castle. But they must report to the Grey Area by nine tomorrow.”
It was useful having such control over the Organization. There were few that resisted Xemnas' dominance. Most listened. He never thought that he asked of much either. Just for them to take care of missions and report in. The rest of their business was their own, until it came to be of use to the Superior.

“Distraction, and entertainment.” Xaldin said. He didn't pull pranks within the ranks, but he got some kind of enjoyment out of watching them. Until one was pulled on him. In which Xaldin was one for revenge through pain.

Xemnas told them all that they could go. Hataxn made eye contact with Lexaeus. There were many things they had to talk about after the first day. Firstly was getting Xathere out of trouble with Saix. Things were going to be... tense, to say the least, for awhile.

Vexen had to admit this part, although he was reluctant. “Yes. Xigbar is a good snitch, especially on reconnaissance missions. His rifles also give him a vantage over his targets.”
As far as he knew, no other member was capable of doing that. Braig and Xehanort seemed to be close. The memories were most likely still strong in the two Nobodies.
At Xemnas' dismissal, Vexen sighed. Finally. He could get away from all of these imbeciles packed into one room. He stood haughtily.
“You're free to do as you'd like for now. I'll be in my lab for awhile longer, until I decide to retire.” Even scientists had to sleep sometime!
Going over to Xemnas' apprentice, Vexen knew that asking for the Superior's apprentice would look strange. It was only for science. "Jaxine, could you perhaps assist me in my lab for a few minutes?"
Or hours. Vexen knew that telling the truth would lessen the chance of Jaxine's help. Over time, he would get all of the apprentices' help, determining their worth for himself.

Perked up, Nechax looked over at the girl that had been on his mind most of the day. Now was his chance. What more could Zexion fit in today? Nechax doubted that Zexion would keep him from conversing with other apprentice. On the contrary, Zexion would probably find it better for Nechax to do that once in a while.

“All of us can!” Axel took the chance to show off with a fireball in his hand. He had to extinguish it quickly before any senior member caught him and complained. “Some of us more than others.”
“I say we should give a bigger demonstration elsewhere.” Luxord stood from the table, swiping a bottle of wine while he did so. It would be a shame to waste it, and the Dusks didn’t drink wine (that Luxord knew of).

“Before I dismiss you myself, I think you should learn one more thing.” Saix stated calmly to Allayx, assuming that she would want some time to herself. Yet it wouldn't be a good example if there were less apprentices to see what Saix had in store. One would take the punishment, another would watch. Both of them would spread the word quickly.
Saix moved quickly to grab Demyx by the arm before he tried to weasel away. He ignored any whine that Demyx would come up with as he addressed Larxene in a low voice. “Although she will take the blame, you will not go freely.”
She would wait until later. Pairing Larxene up with Demyx and Xathere for this seemed unlike Saix's methods.

They were dismissed. Xathere glanced around for a sudden crowd of people to melt into. But too late. Saix was already saying something to Larxene. Even if she tried, Xathere wouldn't be able to sneak off. She looked over at her father and brother. That gave her a little hope. She knew they were thinking of something.

Shaxirma pondered her response to that. To say she had no secrets would give away that she did. There was a lot to answer. The Organization had no clear idea of where she came from, nor how she got to be the way she was.
“Does the Organization have many secrets?” She wondered. At the surface, it didn’t seem so. Just one or two things that she didn’t quite understand yet. But she would in time.

Jaxine looked up at the blonde male who had asked her the question. She remembered him as well. Even, or Vexen as it was now. She got up and faced the man, although she was still a lot smaller than he was. "Of course. I'd be happy to help." Okay, not that she could be, but she always liked science and as a Somebody she loved to help them out. Not that it ever happened.

"I agree with that!" Xigbar laughed. So the grumpy guy did have some humor after all! How nice!
Xemnas then told them they could all leave, so he turned to Hataxn. "You're free to go do whatever, buddy. Wouldn't want to keep you away from your freedom."

Lars listened to the information Vexen was giving him. So the male called Xigbar had rifles? Interesting.
After the short announcement, his teacher stood and told where he would be. Not that it was necessary. Lars was planning on meeting up with that girl again. Xathere, if he remembered it right. He stood as well, but didn't go over to her yet. She seemed to be in trouble...

Zexion quickly stood as well. He quickly gazed at his apprentice, "You're free to go, Nechax. I'll see you tomorrow." Without another word, he walked over towards the Superior, expecting them to go to his office to talk.

Myrthe's eyes widden at the fire that appeared in Axel's hand. He could control fire?! Awesome! Wait, what did Luxord just say? "A bigger demonstration? I can't wait!" She also noticed the wine the older male took with him. Yet she didn't say anything about it, just a giggle. Something told her it'd be fun to see the guy drunk.

"Of course, master." Allayx watched Saïx, not sure about what the next lesson would be. From the looks of it, he was going to punish the ones who caused a problem. As he talked about the apprentice getting the blame, she was sure he was going to do something to them. Even though she couldn't help but feel bad, she kept her mouth shut and wondered how this could be a lesson to her. She trusted her teacher knew best.

Larxene rolled her eyes at Saïx, "What are you gonna do? Hit me?" The Savage Nymph stood with crossed arms as she gave X face an angry look. Well, as long as the little girl got punished, it was fine.

"Would be a bit easy if I told you, don't you think, Shaxirma?" Marluxia gave the girl a sly grin. "You are dismissed." He then took his leave. Larxene would know to find him.

Demyx winced as Saïx grabbed his arms. "Just give me one more chance, Saïx! I promise I won't do it again!" He was faking anger, yet somewhere it felt so real. He gave the other girl an apologizing look.

Within a short time, Vexen already had something for Jaxine to do. She did not think too much of it. Neither did Xemnas. It was better, since he would know where she was.
He gave them a glance before going to his office, where he would speak with Zexion. Xemnas was planning on that meeting to be a short one. There were many things Zexion didn’t need to know. He was clever, yet Xemnas could hide things from him.

Silently taking the dismissal, Hataxn moved around the table to avoid Saix and get to Xathere. On the way, Lexaeus joined him. Xaldin found some after-dinner entertainment for himself, quietly stalking after those two.

“Follow me.” Vexen said to Jaxine as he turned his back, although she probably did not need to be told to do so. He began to lead the way to the lab.

Without any instruction on what to do with his free time, Nechax waited for the girl to leave first. Then he would follow. He did not want to talk when others were around that could hear them.

“Onward, then!” Luxord led the way out of the dining room. He knew just the place to practice.
Axel laughed and shook his head, following Luxord. The night was still young to them. Why not have a little party, just between the three of them? None of the formal stuff that Xemnas was doing.

Saix wouldn't do it with other people around. Before he could reply to Larxene, three other males came over. Saix gave the two unsuspecting ones a smirk. Xathere leaped up, presumably to hide behind them. Simultaneously, Saix grabbed her arm roughly as Xaldin summoned a lance and sliced across Lexaeus' back. Shoving the larger man out of the way, Xaldin threw Hataxn against the table. He kept the apprentice pinned down with one arm, using the other to hold the bloodied lance above Hataxn's shoulder.
“I used this exact same spear to stab your father in the exact same place.” He grinned sickly, his voice low. Although this surely caught most of the Organization's attention.
Saix used the distraction to pull Demyx and Xathere out of the dining room. Xaldin would take care of the other two.

Shaxirma waited a moment before realizing that Marluxia was finished for the evening. Seeing the commotion beginning already with the punishments, she ducked out of the room quickly. She wanted to find a place to be alone. Unfortunately, she was being followed.

Jaxine quickly followed after Vexen, not sure what to think of the Nobody yet. She probably had to wait and see. If he wasn't her type of person to talk with anymore, she would know soon enough.
As soon as they reached the lab, she waited for him to open the door and let her in. She had to be polite around other members too.

Zexion teleported towards Xemnas' office, ending up in the middle of the room. Not wanting to sound impatient, he waited for Xemnas to acknowledge his presence first. He didn't take a seat though, as he assumed the Superior wanted this to be quick.

Myrthe followed the guys with one of the happiest faces she had. In her homeworld they had always said magic didn't exist. Until the Heartless came, of course. That's where everything went wrong. Her world wasn't prepared for it.
Shoving that thought aside, she noticed some sounds coming from the room they had just left, yet didn't think too much of it.
"Where are we going exactly?" She asked the blonde haired male happily.

Xigbar watched the little scene, smirking as it happened. Finally some action within their Organization! It had been a while since anyone actually got hurt. Unfortunately, his apprentice got hurt too. Ah, the boy could save himself. The Freeshooter didn't feel like getting between him and Xaldin.

Lars saw what was happening, being rather close to it. His face didn't show any emotion, but he found their course of action rather unlogical. Why hurt two people that obviously didn't do anything? Unless he had missed something.
Noticing a blue haired male walking outside with another male and Xathere in his tight grasp, Lars quickly followed after them. He noticed another apprentice followed them too, yet this apprentice had been around the blue haired male for already a while. Probably his apprentice.
"Lets just hope they don't mind me following them." He thought to himself, making sure to not say it out loud as that could cause trouble.

Allayx watched the scene, a frown forming on her face. This was how they acted around each other? It made her sick, although she knew how evil she could be herself. This really wouldn't help her a lot.
While putting her hood back on to hide her emotional face, she quickly followed after Saïx and the other two Nobodies. The sooner she left this place, the better. It brought back sad memories to see people fight like that. Although she knew what Saïx was going to do wouldn't make it any better. Lets just hope she can keep her own anger inside without anyone suspecting anything.

Larxene was taken off guard by what happened, being sure to teleport out of the room as soon as Xaldin wasn't watching. She wouldn't stay here. Although it was entertaining to see other's suffering, they would love to hurt her as well. Besides, she had other things to do. Like talking with Marluxia about the treason.

As Demyx was being dragged out of the room he literally begged the X faced Nobody to let go of him. He got quiet though as he noticed a tear rolling down his face. He could cry? No, don't cry Demdem! Not in front of the others!

(( ...Xaldin is so evil. xD And poor Demmy... ))
PostPosted: Sat Apr 07, 2012 4:06 pm
Vexen led the way into the lab. It was a maze of machinery. He walked passed those, though, and went for a room that had Heartless caged up. With careful consideration, Vexen picked out a Shadow. It squirmed as he tried holding it and locking up the rest of the Heartless.
“Hold it.” Vexen said hastily, shoving the Shadow into Jaxine's arms. He went around the lab to find other things.

Xemnas had not gotten much time to enter his office before Zexion arrived. He nodded to the younger Nobody.
“What is it that you want to know?” Depending on the question, Xemnas would judge how long of a conversation this would be. Xehanort and Ienzo never spent large amount of time together without the other apprentices, and it was no different in their Nobody lives.

Luxord took a swig from the bottle. “We are going to the highest place in the castle.”
“Great. I've been working on my fireworks.” Axel snickered. They couldn't be yelled at for trying to set the place on fire, if they were outside!

Xaldin sensed the tomahawk coming before it hit. He thrust his lance into the younger's shoulder before getting hit by the larger weapon in the head. The Whirlwind Lancer slumped down onto the floor slowly.
Hataxn pulled himself up stiffly, gripping his injured shoulder. Lexaeus pulled the lance out. He winced at his own injury, but dealt with it as he pulled a potion out of his pocket and offered it to Hataxn. The Organization had difficulties trusting each other as it was.
Downing the small green liquid in two seconds, Hataxn found that the only thing left of his injury was a torn coat and bloodstains. The pain was even gone. Lexaeus didn't let him check it out for long.
“Let's go.” He led the way he was sure Saix went. None of the things Hataxn heard as a Somebody. Now he truly was ready for the serious events that would have otherwise prohibited Hataxn from even leaving his bedroom at home.

Using a portal to gain more time, Saix took the two deviants to one of the lower levels, where the lesser Nobodies were abundant. Five Beserkers were in sight. Staying on a higher platform, Saix threw the other two down to where the Beserkers could attack them.
Xathere hit the ground hard. She curled up out of instinct before realizing she should stand before getting hit. She was on her hands and knees before the claymore of a Beserker threw her to the very edge of the platform. She pulled herself away from it, scrambling to her feet.

((Xaldin got served so fast in this. XD So much happened!))

Jaxine carefully took the Heartless from the male, wondering what he was going to do with it exactly. The creature gave her a curious look as she smiled back at it. Why did these evil things have to look so cute?
"What are we going to do with this?" The girl asked out of pure curiosity as she had no idea what was so interesting about the Heartless.

"Ever since the apprentices arrived, there's a strong scent of Darkness coming from one of them. Saïx' apprentice. I wish to know more about this." Zexion explained, knowing he sounded a bit demanding towards their Superior. "If anything, I suspect she hasn't lost her heart yet."

"That sounds pretty cool! Can't wait to see the highest place in the castle!" Myrthe almost jumped out of excitement.
"Fireworks? You've got fireworks?" Seriously, what wasn't possible in this place?! It was so much more awesome than her homeworld had been! ...Although she didn't really have the heart to feel it.

Xigbar noticed the father and son walking away. He was sure this would be something interesting to know. Using his attribute of space, he silently followed after the two. Hey, they couldn't blame him! His apprentice was his business!

Allayx followed through the portal with Saïx, noticing they were back at the place where she had found the other male who lead her back to the dining room.
Being a bit startled when he threw the two people down, she hoped the weird looking creatures didn't hurt them too much. "Those things are called lesser Nobodies... right?" She asked Saïx just to get her mind off of the punishment. Her voice had been softer than normal, just to hide the other emotions she was feeling, which she hoped he wouldn't notice.

Lars had followed them all through the portal, keeping his distance as the blue haired male and the other girl hadn't noticed him yet. As he saw Xathere being pushed down he felt the need to help her, but wasn't quite sure how. His master wouldn't like him interfering with the other people's business. At all.

Demyx screamed as he was being pushed towards the lesser Nobodies. Berserkers, berserkers... those things were bad news! He jumped back on his feet, seeing the girl being in trouble. A moment of panic washed over him as he suddenly remembered he could fight! Yes, fight. Fight for his life.
The Melodious Nocturne quickly summoned his Sitar, jumping away from an attack that came from one of the Berserker. "Dance, water, dance!" He said as he began playing, knowing there wasn't anything else he could do.

Larxene and Marluxia met each other in the halls of Castle Oblivion, knowing for sure there wasn't anyone there at the moment as they weren't allowed to come back here. Would they be caught, Marluxia could always come up with a good excuse as former Lord of Castle Oblivion. Xemnas didn't trust the traitor with the castle anymore. It wasn't even used by the Organization since what happened there.
"We should keep this short, Larxene." Marluxia spoke up as he wore his hood over his head.
"Fine then. Talk! What's your big plan this time?" Larxene impatiently crossed her arms. And she too was wearing her hood to hide her identity.

“If I have done it correctly before, I should be able to manipulate its DNA to create metal plating on it.” Vexen filled the syringe with a black liquid. It was interesting, and hard work, to get DNA out of something that was Darkness.
“Now hold it still.” Vexen came back over to her with the readied syringe.

This would be an intricate chat. Xemnas gestured for Zexion to take a seat in the chair before the desk, taking a seat behind said desk. He couldn't answer Zexion's question with the direct truth. Xemnas' fingers intertwined on his desk as he looked at Zexion.
“Saix's apprentice is a special case. Hence why I have trusted her upon him. She does have Darkness within her. However, I cannot discuss further about her.” Many of these things Zexion probably already knew.

“Well, figuratively.” Axel shrugged. Oh what was the difference? A show was still a show! And he knew exactly how to put on a show.
“Here we are!” Luxord opened a giant door, which led to the Altar of Naught. Surprisingly, and for their own good, Xemnas was not there gazing at Kingdom Heart's development. Luxord's bottle was half empty by now. He was beginning to sway in his walk.

The duo, looking almost like twins, made their way down to the lower levels. There was few other places Saix would go to carry out his plans. Hataxn had yet to summon his own weapon, which was another handicap, alongside the gash in Lexaeus' back.
They knew they were on the right path when there were Beserkers stopping them from going any further. Although from where they were, Lexaeus and Hataxn could hear the fight below.
Being weaponless did not deter the younger one any. When he was about to be attacked, Hataxn grabbed the claymore and threw it, along with its handler, against a wall. Just because he was new to the Organization doesn't mean that Hataxn had never sparred before.
While fighting, the father and son tended to cover the other's blind spots. Teamwork made taking down the Beserkers easier.

“Yes.” Saix smiled as he watched the two try to fight back. “They were not quite strong enough to become Nobodies like us.”
Yet they still had remarkable power. Along with being controlled by the humanoid Nobodies, it was more strength to the Organization.

Xathere moved away from the slow-moving Nobodies. She glanced at Demyx. He had a weapon (though it didn't appear to be one). She didn't think music would have any affect. Larxene hadn't shown Xathere how to fight. All she got on her first day was a tour.

Shaxirma found the Grey Area empty. Her hood was on so that no one would disturb her. She looked up at the golden heart in the sky, like she had done earlier. Kingdom Hearts.... It seemed that with its completion, all of their troubles would disappear. She could go home to her friends and family. That's all that was asked of her. To complete the heart. Like how Shaxirma had originally come to these worlds to better her own heart.
Heavy footsteps came from the hall. She didn't turn around as the brainless boy came in. Of course he was following.
“You're... I know you.” Nechax stuttered, trying to make sense of his thoughts and memories. “How do we know each other?”
“From a dream.” She answered over her shoulder.

As Vexen came closer with the needle, the Heartless clung to Jaxine's arm, almost looking afraid. "Will it hurt the little thing?" She asked even though she couldn't actually feel bad for it. If she didn't know any better she'd be convinced the Shadow was scared right now.
Jaxine didn't think much of the actual experiment he was going to carry out. It sounded very simple.

Zexion took a seat just like the Superior wanted him to and listened to what the man had to say. He had been right about one thing, at least. There was Darkness in the girl.
"I see, Superior." It disappointed him that Xemnas didn't want to say anything more about it, yet he had seen it coming. At least he was trusted with this much. "And I take it no one has to know about it?"

"Awesome." Myrthe wasn't disappointed with the answer.
As soon as Luxord opened the big door she peeked outside. It seemed lighter here than in the other places in the castle. She unfortunately couldn't see the source of it yet. "So here's the highest place of the castle?!"

Xigbar watched the two fight, not sure if he should help them or not. Eventualy he went for staying hidden. Those two could handle it themselves. Besides, what's the fun when everyone knows you're watching them?

"I see." Allayx kept watching the two, not sure how a guitar like thing could suffice as a weapon. Then again, she had some sort of key that proved to be very useful.
"Is this the normal kind of punishment here?" She asked a bit hesitant. It seemed kind of painful.

Lars noticed one of the creatures was about to attack the girl in the back. He didn't want that to happen, but what could he do?! Think Lars, thi--- The boy didn't understand what happened, but he had made a movement with his arm and the Nobody was being pushed backwards. "How did I do that?" He muttered...

When Demyx played his Sitar, water clones began to appear out of nowhere, attacking the lesser Nobodies for him. Normally, IX would shout all kind of stuff, but right now he was just too concentrated on playing. He did NOT want to die. Not now. Not ever.

((Well, this is all I can write for now. Gotta go. So see it as a post that's done, k! Just reply! I'll write for Mar and Larx again next time! ))

“Oh probably. The last time I was able to do this, the thing died from mutated limbs. That was one of those miserable dogs. Exceptionally dumb creatures. But I've perfected the DNA, so it should work as I plan.” Vexen tried to get a good point to jab his syringe into while talking lightly of the dangers the Heartless could suffer. “Hold it still, Jaxine! You're not doing a very good job of it!”

“Correct.” Xemnas nodded. Zexion would tell no one, not if he had word from the Superior not to. Xemnas wouldn't have said so much if Zexion was less than faithful to their goals.

Axel began making shapes out of the flames he conjured. He started out with birds. Then worked on something larger. A dragon.
“Oh yeah. Only Xemnas comes up here most of the time.” Luxord then began mocking Xemnas' usual arm movements. He laughed.

“There are many forms of punishment. It depends on the action and person.” Saix explained. Some members were strong enough to handle this. The apprentices wouldn't be. That reminded him vaguely to make something up for Larxene to do.
Saix began focusing below them again as something happened to one of the Beserkers. It was mysteriously pulled away from Xathere. Other forces were at work here. With a snap from his fingers, the Beserkers froze where they were.
Scanning the area, Saix soon found the male apprentice behind him. He barked, “What are you doing here?”

Xathere had waited for the hit that never came. She looked up to Saix as the lesser Nobodies stopped where they were. Were they free to go now?

“A... dream?” Nechax looked down, questioning himself. Which was the dream? “You mean, this is real?”
He was blown back, off of his feet. The area around him began to blur and shift in his vision. He couldn't move himself. Only the girl stood perfectly still where she was.
“Go to sleep, and you'll get your answers.” She said, turning to face him. With that, the girl began to blur into the background as she walked out of the room and into the dark hallway.

((Got the idea from the ending of 3D. Now I'm kind of depressed and pitying Sora, of all people.))

"That's just scary..." Jaxine sighed, not wanting to let this Heartless suffer the same fate.
"I'm sorry, could you not shout at me?!" The girl said as Vexen was getting irritated. She held the thing still in her arms, making sure it couldn't move, although it didn't seem right to her. "There you go."

Zexion gave the Superior a slight nod. "Understood. That would be all." He said the last thing to tell Xemnas he was satisfied with the answer for now as he wasn't going to get anything else. The male than patiently waited to be dismissed.

Myrthe's eyes grew wide as she saw what Axel was making. "You're amazing!... How do you do that?"
Luxord then took her attention... "And what does the boss man do around here? It doesn't look like there's something interesting around here..." She didn't know the moon Kingdom Hearts was very close to them. Or what it was, for that matter.

"Alright. Thank you for explaining." Allayx made her voice strong but respectful once again. She was still focusing on the battle, as something unexpected suddenly happened. The Berserker moved but nothing had touched it. Odd.
As Saïx asked someone what they were doing here, she turned around to face a boy that seemed older than she was. Although she indeed wondered: what was he doing here?

Lars looked at the blue haired male who seemed quite angry with him. "I ... wanted to see what would happened to Xathere. I needed to talk to her." He explained, not sure about his next move. "I have no idea what just happened though... Sir." That was the truth... this is already the second time today he seemed to make something move without actually touching it...

Demyx was still rocking on his Sitar as he suddenly realized everything had stopped. He lowered his weapon as he opened his eyes carefully. "Are we done yet?" He hoped this punishment was more to scare them than hurt them. But knowing Saïx, it wasn't...

"We will train our apprentices so they will be able to betray the Organization... eventually. Be careful. We do not want our ''Superior'' to find out." Marluxia simply stated as Larxene watched him. "I got that part! Anything else? Like... how are we going to betray them?! We couldn't get Sora on our side either!"
"Patience, Larxene. I will explain in time."
