see, i went though the dress code after the fact, and read that one shouldn't have a hair color that disturbs things. and my streaks weren't disturbing, and they still weren't when i got them colored. but after ac, messing with my hair made the entire thing green... but nobody ever told me anything along the way of "cut your hair or you're out of here." district managers even came once in a while, looked, and i never heard anything about it. it was like that for about a month.
but a week later, when someone else got a bit of color in his head, he was told that he had to take it back out. admittedly, his color was rather random and ugly, but... my whole head was green for a month. other than being called the hulk and other people that don't cut my checks asking "that stuff's not out yet?", nobody really bothered me about it.
