I use the line tool, paint bucket, pencil, and eraser on MS Paint.

So, uh... yeah.

Does exactly what I want it to. It's just a matter of managing expectations.

I use a completely different program, and I think for coloring things I use the program in a way that it wasn't intended for in any way, shape, or form. So I'm of no help here.

Same program I use for... everything. Except cropping, I guess. I'm not entirely sure that program was designed for color, but it works for me.
