What??

I thought the talk about a second Boondock movie was nothing but rumors o__O Wonder how they want to create a second part which is as awesome as the first one...

They have the same cast as the first movie sans the guy who plays Rocco (cause the character is dead) and Willem Dafoe (probably because he was busy). Down to the same group of Boston cops...

Hm...going to find a preview then. Not that sure I want to see it, fearing it could suck XP But...I probably won't be able to resist anyway.

As for Paranormal Activity, Website - check it out.

There's no trailers for it on TV, it's not being advertised, nothing. It's one of those independent films, there were only so many screenings of it. We went to the only showing, at midnight.

Anyway, we never heard of it either outside of a random forum talking about it, most horror forums/lists knew about it.

It's only playing in certain locations, and I'm not sure it'll be opening up to more cities but if you find a showing near you, I recommend it. It was more than just pretty cool, it was freaky s**t. XD I love ghosts and the paranormal so much, so this was a real treat for me.

It actually left me jumpy and paranoid when I went to bed. Cog too. lol He says he hasn't seen a movie that honestly freaked him the hell out in a very long time.

Also - Jay - D: If you have any free time at all this week or coming weekend (not this present one) please let us know, as I'd love to round you and Chris up for a belated birthday celebration. We can find something to do, and maybe we can go back up to City Walk and see this movie if it's not playing in town any time soon.

This is what I'm worried about. The first one was EPIC. It's going to be nearly impossible to match that... I hate it when bad sequals comes out, 'cause I feel like it cheapens the original. But I'll probably see it anyway, if for nothing else other than one of my professors from college is in it.

Same writer and director as the first one, seems like Troy brought in his brother to help write the second one.

I expect it to be good, maybe not as good as the first, but good.

[Edit] I just watched the trailer, and it looks like the first one. Except for a few things:
Willem Dafoe's part is taken by a chick (the girlfriend from Dexter even).
Rocco has been replaced.
Their dad is with them.
And the guy they're after knows who they are and wants them after him.

Yeah it probably wont be as good as the first because pretty much what made the first so good was it was original and that made it of win, so obviously the second wont be so original. But, same cast for the most part, writers, director, etc. Definitely worth seeing.

Now to play ODST again or watch Firefly.
