Akahoshi > LoL You at least have some goal in mind for it.... I just wanna be a whore. xD
Ashram > Hmph. The TV ending did give the series 'closure', but it did so in a way that left the viewer feeling as though there was something wrong/missing. Which is what I suppose it was meant to do. It left you thinking about the right and wrong of peoples actions and decisions. It just created questions which I didn't readily have 'Yes' or 'No' answers for. And we know how I like concise answers.
It's not that I need closure to such an extent that, if I do not have it, I won't be impressed with something, though. Quite contrary, actually. I didn't consider it a 'cop-out' or 'cheap' way of ending a series. It was just that series in particular that made me expect more, so that's the only reason it was a bit of a let down.
Since I'm a bit biased, I'd have liked to see a certain girl beat the crap out of a certain boy for a certain action. But that's just me being the fangirl that I am, as you know. ^_~
The overall delivery of the message and ideals behind the 'philosophy', which was especially apparent in the movie, was interesting enough to keep the series right up there on my list of favorites.
There. You got me to explain myself a little more clearly. I hope you're happy. wink xp
