IceFantasy ChronoSpark IceFantasy Happy ... pissed off ... Happy ... pissed off ... so did you read up on bittorrent stuff?...if not i'll just explain it... Not yet ... please do explain it then ... XD basically, torrent files are very small (like, under 50kb) files that hold data in them that points to where the actual data can be found. ...basically what happens is, you download a bittorent client, such as Azureus, and then load up a torrent file to it, and it will download a file for you (for example, season 4 of The Wire). you get the file from other people, or other sources, but the torrent file itself holds no copyrighted data, so...essentially, the files themselves are legal. ...read up on it.
anyway, yeah...if you use Limewire, it's basically the same thing, except that it's a very efficient way to download 700 MB files or 5 GB files... so...yeah

Still a little confused ... think I may have to read up on it, as well ... XD can you then burn this type of file onto a DVD ??

Limewire IS a bittorrent client. it's like using a different download manager or a different web browser. does the same thing, essentially, right? it just downloads the data from the torrent file.
what happens is, you use the torrent file to find chunks of data on a real file, such as a movie file, or music file, or zip file, you get it? for example, once you finish downloading, say, an mp3 file, it'll be that on your computer .__.; it's really not that difficult to understand XD
and yes, you can burn anything to a DVD XD

Arent computers fun ... sometimes I wish I didnt work with them though ... hehe http://thepiratebay.org
www.mininova.org
those are my favorite sites for torrent files. of course, if you need something quickly, just go to Google and type in "NAME OF THING+torrent" and you should get something.
ALSO! remember, the more SEEDERS, the better. those are the peers giving the chunks of the file. the LEECHERS are the ones getting the file. got it? good. XD
aand..what do you do, exactly? like, in terms of working with computers..?
