That's why I prefer smaller, non-competitive games to begin with. Gives me time to learn the game. There's usually no time to do the smaller games though, because everyone wants to play a regular game with everyone present.

I wanted to try the game out, but after hearing about what Jayne had to go through with her first try, it doesn't sound so appealing.

And they always have double standards for games. Like in L4D, I remember one time I was on team that basically ran through a level as quickly as possible, not bothering with anything around them and the other team got butthurt because they really didn't get to do anything. Which I understand and I didn't really want to play like that. Then they do it and it was perfectly fine, because it's them doing it.

But we just cycle Sins, DoW, and L4D apparently.

What automated defenses?

Being as its the end of the tournament though you'd probably have both Deity Inc (HoH Security) and Creation Industries Security, (which IIRC is in charge of day to day functions of the stadium) Present. Neither of which would be easily swept aside, why they aren't stomping heads? Probably slowed down by the out rushing mob, but absence for plot reasons works as well.

Deity quit because the people they're working for were cooperating with the people that killed some of their personel. Took their paycheck and left. After looking like they were working for the latter-half of the tournament.

They could come back but only if Noah paid them in even larger bags of money, and let them use whatever means they felt necessary to ensure the safety of their agents.

Plus the cost of a shitton of body bags.
